The house is simply beautiful!! The floor plan is indeed amazing to me, I love it. And I love hearing stories on Australia. I'm from Italy and we are more used to having double floors with the upper one as the bedtime area, but it's really interesting what's trending over there, with the bedrooms being close to the entrance of the house.

A suggestion if you ever build a garage and don't what to do with it, I tend to turn them into a teen bedroom and make it look like the sims had installed a bathroom etc to give the teen sim that sense of being independent by having there room further away but still being at home.

A tip for builders; F5 toggle This will let you position objects relative to the grid, but at 1/2 to 1/4 the usual distance. Good for precision. Might help with the windows.

😅😅😅 we have 7 tvs... primary bedroom, living room, den, in-law appt, the kitchen (the previous owners installed a small one on the wall), the screened-in porch, the playroom/guest room. The den is perfect for movie nights with the fireplace and big sectional couch. So comfy!

I feel like if you put out like a general survey then very old styles would be most popular like the old castles and churches in Europe. But if you asked about specific style of your own house, probably something sleek and modern with square shapes.

Hey Deli! I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota, a little place called Spearfish. Right next door to Sturgis, we have a huge motorcycle rally every summer, but other than that not very populated. But growing! The house building going on right now is still on quite spacious lots. I guess it just depends on how populated your area is. Love your builds, beautiful and easy to play in!

I'm not super shocked eaxis haven't given us more built in wardrobes (cause, y'know, took YEARS to add skintones, etc), but I am always surprised there aren't even many CC ones!
Look up Sarah Richardson, she's an interior designer and her favorite look involves beach colors, mixing whites/off whites with pale blues and navy blues, some greens. I love her aesthetic and I guarantee you'll fall in love with it too. I think that would be a great look for Hampton Style builds, kind of Cape Cod.

Coastal Hamptons is a discussion we have all the times in the industry. Or in Qld it’s Queenslander Hampton which utilises the traditional style of the old Queenslander with modern twists

If you ever want some tiny home inspiration for a sims build, whether for Newcrest or just in general, take a look at Living Big In A Tiny House. I watched, some time ago, 2 called Off-Grid Living in a 5 x 20 ft Shipping Container Home and This Tiny House is Huge Wait Until You See The Bedroom. They are not Australia, but New Zealand, and maybe you could be inspired by them for one of your Newcrest builds. If you really want a challenging build, check out Life in a Crazy-Small 8 m 2 Tokyo Apartment.
the two-story, three bed reminded me of someone in a Sims group I'm in getting a three-room, two-story challenge from Plumbella's challange generator.
Nice build! I tend to do builds lately that are only furnished with kitchen and bathroom and laundry rooms - like in real life! You mentioned it sometimes being hard to do a build with more than 5 bedrooms and I struggle with that too but last week I managed to build a 3 story 8 bedroom home with 3 bathrooms and laundryroom + a garage that I am real proud of ☺
How do you all get so much money?
@@katherineacevedo5351 I always do my random builds in the world edit screen so that it’s unlimited funds. If it’s for a family I’m playing I use the available funds to keep my story goin proper. 😊

Yes! I love doing this too in my own time - just leaving the "guts" in like a real house. I usually furnish for people to download but I love the realism in this. I think in maybe Sims 1 or 2 they left the kitchen counters when you packed up and moved!
lots of Scottish gardens have imported palm trees, especially in the coastal towns around me, even though we rarely get weather above twenty degrees even in the summer🤣its so fun to look at

For the columns out front you could use half walls to make a one tile square, add a stone wallpaper, and stick a column inside. If I remember right, the columns out front had stone of different heights. So you could use different half wall heights.
I created this house and layout along while you were doing it and made it my own.
That one kid room with the on suit imma turn it into a guess room....and the room you turned into a guest room imma turn into a libary/study and where u put the desk in the hallway imma try and put a art piece being that i dont use them as much

LOL. I've built that Bayville house in my game before too. I'm in Adelaide. If you're looking for more inspiration, I was looking at building a house a year or two ago, and I really liked Gallery Living houses, and Dechellis houses.

I love this house! 🥰 i watched you struggle with those windows on the 2nd floor and wondered if it would've been easier to use the move objects cheat with the 0 and 9 keys to move them up just a small bit? That way, they would all be the same height, and you wouldn't struggle with the ALT placing. Just a thought 🤔

Architecture in Germany is so boring compared to Australia, all houses are just white and have grey windows. Australia seems way more versatile and interesting from what I’ve seen from your videos

Australia (depending on the area) can have lots of different kinds of houses! It would probably look odd to some people I think? We also have housing estates where most houses are similar or historic terrace homes in a row etc :) Depends on the area!
