The G4 is a no brainer for me. I've been waiting for a couple of years to upgrade my old LG OLED. I skipped on the G3 because of the color luminance issue in game mode. The G4 fixed that issue so I'm pulling the trigger 100%.

S95D could’ve been some real comp if they didn’t go matte, I cant look at that for the next 3-5 years its either S90d or g4 now
I couldn't disagree more. I'm probably getting the S95D because my room is super bright and I'm tired of the mirror-like reflections. I get that matte isn't for everyone. I'm super excited to see how it does. I probably would have purchased a 'Frame' TV, but I want a 'better' TV than an edge-lit set. If the Frame had been built with the QN90 backlight system, I would have gotten it already.

Yes, I pulled up the 83" yesterday, and wow, it's expensive. I guess it's going to be 2 or 3 years before I can afford one . 😢😢

Maybe I missed it but I’m curious to hear how Game Mode is on the G4 (and C4). I have some gripes about my S90C, but one of them is definitely not how the picture looks for games. Still packs a huge punch, especially at night.
Great content , I am really interested from what I am hearing the motion is off the charts, and the processing I'm am interested in that 83 inch .

G3 was the first actual upgrade from a C.... Not worth it IMO
but this G4 is looking like a whole new League.

I've been ho hum on LG since i bought the LG C1 77" back in December 2021. I never felt the need to upgrade my C1. QD OLED, and I was impressed with the S95B 65" and S95C 65". The G4 83" is really making me want to upgrade from the LG C1 77". I can't wait to see how the LG G4 83" reviews.
It would be great if you decide to go for the G4 because the way you review Tvs is from an owner view and not matched anywhere else .on youtube. So we really vaule your opinion thanks for that . Dave from Uk

I heard they didn’t even make any changes to the C4 like that . But yeah, the G4 looks like a nice TV but LG just needs to stop being stubborn and go QD. On my personally get the S 95D or wait for what Sony’s doing this year
The only downside with the G3 for me was game optimizer but if that’s fixed it’s definitely on my list to get

I like LG but S95C is still the best I have seen. Also TCL has been doing their thing. I use the shield where it upscales everything. It’s different.

the one thing I like is the AI Processing works with all Content like Sony's Processor. LG's AI Processing was always a scam as in small print it says it doesn't work with Copyright Content which is 99 percent of all non-RUclips content. So that means, in actual practice, LG's "AI Processing" has "never" worked, like they claim.
Bro I can't wait for lg c4 man. I probably won't get it until the summer but I'm excited for 144hz LG oled I got faith that they got this right compared to s95c
I think the C4 is going to be a big disappointment. They didn't do much to it. I was hoping for better. I'll just stick with my C9 for now.
Hopefully QD-oled has a real competitor in second gen MLA. You are exactly right sounds like lg heard the criticism

lol i just got an A95L and I still think the G4 looks legit. It’s the Tv enthusiast we’re satisfied for a little bit lmao. Like Brian and FOMO were saying in their video. Your tv is the best for a little bit then something else comes out. Funny thing is we have no clue about Sonys lineup. If they don’t make a new QD, does that mean the new G4 runs thru the whole year like 80s Tyson lol.

I like the look of the picture too, all primary colours look strong but I'm still on the fence with LG. They release iteratively year on year, there's a sense of them holding back and dragging out the wrgb technology as long as possible. Nerfing game mode last year was frankly, inexcusable. And their gradation management has historically been amongst the worst. Out of interest I'll be watching when reviews come out

@@AllAboutTKK fair enough. I'm thinking about getting it since I still have a LOT of credit after exchanging my A95L. Problem is I don't need, nor have any place to put a 2nd tv. And I'm enjoying my S90c.

Highly doubt that. As of now it’s only the 83” that separates it, makes it the most quality stricken largest OLED to date, because QD-OLED has no 83”, the real miss is from Samsung displays NOT making a 83” panel.
heh,the fact is sony proccesing is not that good .sony is oversharpenning and overprocessing image with visible artifacts,like shimering etc, even if you turn all things off.how its considered good?nah.
Subject of opinion really. I can only speak to the absolutely best Sony, the A95L and before it the A95K, its image processing has been very good with content that isn’t native 4K. I’m talking a realistic and noticeable difference vs other options I’ve been blessed to experience in home.
If I didn’t just get that x95L this year I’d strongly be considering this in 83inches. However my g2 that I game on, now that could be an interesting upgrade.
