- We had a little 1-on-1 time with the 2023 Corvette Z06, ,and snagged this clip of the glorious noises coming from the new LT6 engine. 670 horsepower & 460 lb-ft of torque from the dual overhead cam, flat-plane crank V8 that revs to a stratospheric 8600 RPM. Thanks for watching!

Flat plane crankshaft?
it's in quiet mode too
Woman was dressed for the occasion
Oof! Make my C6 sound like a truck but I love em both!
Only way I described the sound It's like an American in a tuxedo speaking foreign language
Gaaas queen😉
Russia showed you what happens when you become woke
Oooh I know those buildings in the background. That's altantic station
0:13 REEEEEVVSSS
How do I rev my C8 ZO6? Mine won’t rev past 3000 RPM!
Manual mode and keep both peddle shifters engaged. You can rev it once all that is done
The new C8 458 Italian American corvette
It sounds like a Ferrari !
Kinda looks like one as well.
Corvette really really sounds like a Ferrari, at least the way a Ferrari should sound 😂
Sounds like V10 but it aint a V10
no it sounds like a v8 not every v10 sounds the lfa educate yourself
Yeah like LFA lexus
Rip old sound
bruh just get a normal c8
The only thing with these cars will be. Since they rev such high RPMs any car with over 40,000 miles will be completely rag out and worn out. Buyers beware of buying used C8
Yeah. The normal one will be just fine, but I can't see this thing being used long term in a normal environment. It would be an excellent track car, though!
Most drivers aren't going to go above 70 MPH on average, so I doubt there's significant risk.
As long as they maintain it properly and aren’t going full throttle all day every day it’s meant to handle it
Tryin to sound like a EUROPEAN LOL
You mean "expensive" not European? Not all European cars have such a powerful engine.
as if bmws and mercedes dont have crossplay v8s stop saying nonsense
God i hate flat plane sounds
The flat plane crankshaft V8 has a true balanced exhaust tone, because, it has a balanced firing order. The cross plane crankcase V8 engine fires 2 times in a row on each cylinder bank during the firing cycle, the flat plane does not.
It doesn’t sound like American muscle anymore, more like a budget Ferrari
Mf, it's like 150,000+
@@kenneth9249 Compared to Ferraris prices 150,000 ain’t too bad😂
@@rain7659 And you don't even get Sued 😂😂
