- Curran (left) vs me (red, right) as the last 2 in an all vs all match. It’s always pretty tiring when these go on a bit, especially when you’ve done nearly back to back fights right before as well, but always worth it ⚔️

It does I feel bad for him though it's a lot heavier and not as protective so he was at a disadvantage
@@froo5667 I mean I'm not an expert but they seem to have very similar pieces
@@Karzeo looks like he's wearing lamellar plate which does weigh more and wouldn't really deflect blows like a shaped chestplate and legs

I’d love to see a pro MMA Heavy weight with those gauntlets with shields on in one of these wouldn’t win but to see someone clinching and throwing hands in armour would be fun as heck

Realistically how much does the set of armor cost and weapon?
Medieval Extreme and Buhurt Tech are good places to look for armor and weapons. From what I’ve seen helmets can range from $500 all the way to $1000+, and can get even more expensive with certain upgrades like materials and finishes.
Yup full set, basic, plus a weapon that's basic is gonna be like $3k. It's definitely an adult money hobby.
Question, why do so many buhurters wear brigandine?
Easier to buy stock and still mostly fit. Also a tad lighter. If you buy a stock cuirass it’s gonna be less mobile. Buying anything to fit is super mobile.
