Ok, Batman is officially NOT a hero in my eyes. He never puts a permanent end to any of the threats he faces, which causes countless deaths throughout the years, including people he "cares about". He never finishes his villains simply because he doesn't want to stop being Batman. He doesn't view himself as Bruce Wayne, and if he actually stopped all of his villains, Bruce Wayne is all that's left. He's a selfish man who only cares about never ending revenge, not the true safety of the people.
