Blues & Slow Swing class 1 Jul23

In this class on Ballroomin' style Blues, we looked at the idea of using "lag" or delay to create interesting texture in the dance. By slowing down or speeding up, we can be more musical and create a lovely "milk and burn" feeling that is super fun! We used this concept to turn a standard outside turn into something sassy by the follow adding lag, then used that extra momentum to move into a quick pivot turn and finish off with a smooth leg sweep.
