Me: I asked a girlfriend (a 10x world champion) "What's the funniest thing that's ever happened to you while teaching?
Her: I was flown out to Asia for a ladies styling weekend workshop for 1,200 women. I was teaching [a similar move like 6:45 ]. I demonstrated it then asked the ladies to perform it while I watched, from the stage. All of a sudden I was watching 1,200 women go down when I realized I forgot to teach them to turn their head to the side. I burst out laughing.
Me now: The dancer in this video probably attended that workshop.
it would be interesting if Korean champion didn't know that move and had to take your girlfriend workshop with 1,200 other woman lol

The Asian couple began their dance around 3:18...and the 'early' couple moved in on them at 3:34...The Asian couple had about 16 seconds before the 'early' couple intruded... What's up with that? Checking, I saw the 'early' couple talking to the 'flow control' guy, and then there was no other interaction between them..This couple just decided they'd waited long enough. Really? The individual couples each were to take about 45 secs... I would think any competing couple would know that 16 secs. is not 45 seconds.. Certainly it's the 'flow-control' guys error, but--the "early" couple should have turned to him and asked for the signal.
It's by phrasing of the music. The first time around, every couple gets two phrases, or a total of 64 beats. The second time around every couple gets one phrase, a total of 32 beats. You can see the control guy count them in on the 4th 8 count of the Asian couple's dance (the end of on phrase, beats 25-32). It looks to me like he got mixed up and counted in the next couple as if it was the second round, but the Asian couple was at the end of the first round so they should have had another phrase (32 beats).
You can see the control guy talk to Adam and Ksenia, and it looks like he says "one phrase this time" at 3.22. Adam puts up two fingers and points out at the dance floor. It seems pretty clear to me that Adam is trying to indicate the current couple should get two phrases, and it's hard to make out what the control guy says in response. Adam and Ksenia go off after one phrase, matching up to the asian couple taking their full two phrases. Then the control guy tries to wave the asian couple back onto the floor, having realized his mistake. When they don't go back on, he pushes the next couple forward 16 beats before the end of the phrase, which is why they dance for 48 beats (4:00-4:30, matching with 40 seconds for two phrases and 20 seconds for one phrase at 30 seconds for 1.5 phrases).

Its not the competitors fault. The flow control guy should have let them know clearly when to go on. I have competed many times and I can tell you that when you are waiting in the wings for your turn, it can seem like an eternity. I'm sure or hope the other couple didn't do it deliberately, probably just an adrenaline surge lol! The flow control guy is an important factor, it's an important job and this person should have been more in control. Perhaps they are inexperienced...
The couples were all amazing and the dancing was so awesome. A pleasure to watch. The Asian couple, I'm glad they got a chance to show their stuff. They were terrific and sexy as hell lol!.

Couple Number 1 Bad Manners:) how they cut in on last couple - wow so rude.
It's actually the job of the MC/compere to control the flow of people onto the dance floor (you can see him on the right indicating to each couple when to step in). The dancers will be following his lead, and he actually messed up the timing for the last two couples as well as the first going back in, so it was all very confusing.

@@elskevanbeurden there are people directing the timing and they fucked up badly, theres no way the "second round" could come so well timed if it wasnt coordinated
