- There are some team bonuses that are usually overlooked since at first look they don't seem to have something impactful to offer. In this video we are going to see some of these team bonuses that they are overlooked but in reality can be very useful in all situations.
Building that have more hp and are harder to bring down, extra range units because the lack of elite skirmishers and arbalesters(guessed who they are?) and faster researched technologies with extra bonuses.
What are you thoughts?
Genitour is very handy. Combine it with Mayan, Aztec, Gurjara or Vietnamese civ or team bonuses, plus unique techs (for exaple atlatl).

I think that the reason that the turks genitours are so overlooled is because in a team game, trash units on general are less common due to trade.
They are still useful as emergency counters, I think, just not a central part of the overall strategy.
True but although situational, it gives a good edge to Turks. I mean missing both arbalester and elite skirms. Getting genitour fills that gap.
Armenians with Meso, the Mongol team bonus is usually considered the best in the game for open maps anyway and it works like that for meso.

Magyars with Cuman allies.
After the Cuman researches Cuman Mercenaries, the Magyar player potentially gains access to 5 fully upgraded Kipchaks per Castle for free. And with magyar recurve bow technology they turn to the strongest Kipchaks in the game and second strongest cavalry archer in the game behind Mangudai.
With 4-5 Castles thats an instant 25 pop army of the second best cav archers in the game for "free"

The Byzantine's teambonus is NOT that the buildings have more HP.
That is one of their CIV BONUSES, not the TEAMBONUS.
The REAL CIV BONUS is, that Monks heal faster.

The Bulgarian blacksmith bonus is definitely underrated, its especially the discount that makes it very strong. It makes it much easier to get different techtrees. Only Spanish get near because they don't pay gold, but that matters more in the later upgrades.

Now all techs the spanish resear gives 20 gold, wich could work to speed up a men at arms rush if you're lucky with food (more herdables/shore fish than usual)
Bulgarians are strong, I don't know why people complain. They just have a specific strategy you must use
my favorit is playing Teutons in combination with Byzantines making the Monks heal +100% and have double healing range. its so nice to use this Monks in the army :)

Whats the campaign at the start of the video?
They are custom made by me. It's basically the story of Emperor Basil the "Bulgar Slayer". I have ready the first 3 campaigns and trying to finish the last 2.

Saracens team bonus often overlooked as the worst team bonus. It used to be deadly with the combination of obsidian arrow.

@@SvanTowerMan yeah there's different qualities of AI voice, but you can figure out what to look for. Like this one is good for AI but still very sterile and all the pronunciation is too uniform. Even if it sounded more human most creators won't have the rich type of narrating voice that AI voice tries to imitate.

Not possible, imperial skirmisher is the upgrade of elite skirmisher, which are unavailable for Turks civ.
One question: can you combine turks with Vietnamese and train imperial skirm? Or you can only upgrade to imp skirm from elite skirm?
