we pride ourselves in Lemons with having fantastic judges and inspectors. we have our own Dale, and we DO IT FOR DALE!! he's been racing for decades, and decides to spend his time with all of us lunatics in crappy cars. i stream with a microphone that was a gift from Judge Mental, another one of the long time Lemons judges and staff members.

I don't know much about how youtube works with the algorithms and whatnot, but I've heard people say that track day/racing type videos like this don't perform well. That being said, this video was awesome and I hope you continue to do more Lemons races and make more videos about it. Team Busch Lightning forever!

I believe that to be the case as well. Mostly bought this car to offer friends who will never get the chance to race to do just that, but we figured we could get one video out of it!

My first race car in western Washington state was a Mercury version of the Pinto, #55, a green and white learning basic race car. When you have 40 to 45 of those warming up in the pits and the first 20 plus running in the A and B mains it sounds like a nest of furious angry hornets. Lots of good racing and good friendships were made there.

@@jjgeorge7728 Spanaway, Tenino, Richland, Port Angeles, and Ephrata. Went from mini stock to Vintage Modified Racing Assoc, there I had a 29 Ford Coupe and later a 34 Plymouth Coupe.
This was awesome man! Looks like great fun and this was a great Collab! The structure of this video was great too. I like how you just let us enjoy a full lap of nothing but the sounds of the 2.3!

We've got a foam filled tank, but I don't think our pickup is long enough. When it ran out of gas we only put 11 gallons in an 18 gallon tank 🤷🏻♂️

I had a 79 Pinto California Cruise Wagon with a 2.3 that was bored .040 and had a thumping cam. Your Pinto brought back some memories of mine.

I think this is your best video yet. What an awesome weekend. Definitely jealous. And impressed that the little Pinto hung in there with zero mechanical problems. I'd rather watch (or someday participate in) Lemons than any other race.
It's definitely not a cheap race, but it's a forgiving race full of slow cars, and that's the appeal in my book. Way safer for first time drivers

I'm glad to see Mooks doing better. Two thoughts come to mind watching this 1. Ya had to be hav'in fun or ya wouldn't be smil'in. 2. Next time ya go out Lemons rac'in put The Mookster behind the wheel(You could probably sell tickets to her reactions in the penalty box) or as she states at the end of this and all of her Junkyard Mook videos. "WAR" I really enjoy it when you show an episode where you are in a competition. When is the Nova coming back, I really want to see what your going to do with it?

My dad raced using a pinto in the late 80s and I grew up with his pinto racecar and his pinto wagon in our garage. Watching this channel makes me want to pull both out and get them running again!
