A 454 is cool to have, but in that big of a vehicle it's not all fun and games. It doesn't pull like a 454 Chevelle, it pulls like it has a 305 because all of those RVs were low compression emissions controlled big blocks with 180-200 HP, but they had maximum torque cams. This Winnebagel needs a Cummins 6bt swap in the worst way...they should've never released these big sons a bitches without a diesel standard.

That Winny would make a nice first car hauler. Dove tail the back frame add nice things like on board air and air bags to lower for loading and unloading. Rebuild the 454 pick a fuel system. With today's fuel prices a Turbo is a must to increase fuel econ and torque when hauling. That T400 is perfect, no need to replace it. A very good frame and drive line for lots of activity's.
With all that weight behind the rear axle it would not drive good I imagine. I suppose one could make it work but it's probably better as is. I'm sure some people on here are thinking "tiny home". And LS swap with a turbo. Thing is it's been done before. If this was a GMC with a front drive Olds toro transaxle and 455 I'd be more into it.

Love the comedy show 🤣 you guys always make me laugh everytime 😆 what I would do is keep it after the race, gut the inside, completely redo the inside and possible put a train horn on it!
I tried this once with a '91 four winds. Completely gutted the inside to where there were no inside walls, had the appliances stored in a truck, etc. Got ready to repair the soft spots in the outside walls. Hurricane Michael said NOPE.
So with the p30 chassis, you will want to get ceramic tipped spark plug wires so they don't melt 20 miles down the road and starts arcing to the manifold. Also if your model has an automatic parking brake it might be stuck, usually located on the back of the transmission(but yours looks like a 70s model so I'm not sure if they went back that far)
Okay I got to admit I'm loving the revive and drive with the RVs for the NASCAR events being from lake county Illinois lord knows there's plenty of these old RVs parked and just waiting for their last good time and now you're just giving me ideas lol
96,000 miles on a camper is about equivalent to 300,000 or more on a regular pickup. Plus, as most already know, they had a really bad run of 454s with soft cams that would eat the back 2 or 3 lobes off in 100,000 miles or typically less.😜

My grandparents had this exact model down to the hideous carpet. So many good memories ... mainly at Charlotte Motor Speedway. They would spend the summer at Myrtle beach and then stop there on their way back to WV. Their campsite was next to Ken Schrader's parents campsite in the late '80s. Working at Bago, it's fun to see people working on the old ones. I've done tons of work on these, so if you need some help, let me know, Buddy!
I really wish I could meet you in person. I'm a huge fan you guys. I love old cars and working on classic motorcycles. I also like abandoned vehicles.
I met them in person. Tried to make a joke about meeting them and it fell flat. They were very polite to me about it. Genuine easy going folks.
Buy a camper/RV. Drive to Kansas Speedway in 2023. Park in turn 2.
No matter what weird noise you hear when driving, worried about getting you home, the vehicle WILL get you to the site of the breakdown😂
Petition for this to be an annual thing each year.
I SURE LIKED YOUR SCHOOL BUS VIDEO BETTER THAN YOUR RV RACEWAY AND HOPEFULLY TO SEE YOU GUYS WITH THE SCHOOL BUS NEXT YEAR TOO
busch lights and nascar hill billys at its best!!!lol
"Kevin, that's like $100". Come on Mook, gas isn't THAT expensive...yet...

These are the videos I live for lol thank yall for being yourselves you're amazing 😂💯
What an adventure, you are a great group of humans that know how to have a great time. Peace.
Okay I got to admit I'm loving the revive and drive with the RVs for the NASCAR events being from lake county Illinois lord knows there's plenty of these old RVs parked and just waiting for their last good time and now you're just giving me ideas lol
Kevin: "96,000 miles on this one!" Me: has 454 with 300,000 original miles on it, and it runs like a dream🤣
96,000 miles on a camper is about equivalent to 300,000 or more on a regular pickup. Plus, as most already know, they had a really bad run of 454s with soft cams that would eat the back 2 or 3 lobes off in 100,000 miles or typically less.😜
You’re becoming the camper expert! Always a good time. 👍
Great video &love your carburettor talks always find of great help as you give information like we do not know about them ! I DONT but find I learn lot from you . I think you made the right selection on camper to take and cant wait for video's on repair of the winni ! great to see you all enjoying time out again A YEAR !!!!! WHERE DID THAT GO ???? ! .Keep posting.
Kevin’s famous last words: It’s just structural. 😂

@@WouterWeggelaar Thank you so much!😎👍🏻
*_BREAKING BAD THEME INTENSIFIES_*
I would be cool to see you turn it into a car hauler.
He would always stop by to see how they were doing in the morning. I still have a signed Folger's diecast car he gave me when I was like 6 years old.
I absolutely LOVE the comedy that the dude driving the RV had!
I heard Cleetus Mcfarland has 10 extra driver positions open for his next crown vic race, you should see if you can get in. 👀
I have no idea how to get in, I've tried 😂
@@JunkyardDigs I'm gonna comment on every video for them to let you in 🤣
