Hi Dude. I'm 64, retired mechanic. I know a good man when I see one, and I know a great mechanic when I see one. Don't let this go to your head......I'm talking about Ralphie!
Ralphie has some funny comments he’s added to the video he’s in his element. This year is his dream come true. Top video I was entertained from start to finnish.
Mama kicked butt!!! . First She did amazing with the battery ; I was proud of her. Then she cleaned that camper great. Mama was a Super trooper touching that mattress. Watching Ralphie grow up and seeing him very respectful with his mom is amazing.
Thats one Good boy y'all have there. He's so polite, and he's a great listener, and carries on a conversation like a adult. Great Parenting skills, Mom and Dad🥰
Dunno how you did it, but you should write a book on raising kids. Articulate, mannered, interested, helpful, and all with a sense of humor. Well done.
It's not hard. They are good parents and have not overindulged and spoiled their children like a lot of Americans do and then expect the world to deal with their entitled brats. They are not lazy parents. It's refreshing to see. ❤
OMG, who doesn't just love Ralphie? He has so many funny statements and words of wisdoms... and he really helped his mama. 😍 So glad you treated the inside for mold after seeing all the water damage. From someone who's been seriously ill from mold... it's NOT something to mess with.
Buddy you will get it straight . Raised 3 kids practically in a 77 dodge conversion van . I'm 57 now wow a lot of memories. Never took a vehicle to a mechanic still not. i have newer vehicles now and still wrench. One thing I will tell you you can take those kids to Disney or a cruise. But they will remember their mom and dad taking them camping more than anything else. Your a good man ......

A lot of people on RUclips try to bring their kids into their videos. But none of them comes even close to you and your brilliant family and your brilliant animals stay safe you all
i owned a E-350 from 1994, and man do i miss it! The startup of the 7.3 diesel engine and the sound that it makes, and the sound when you gently push the gas pedal down, how the engine growls deep and proudly! Man i miss my Ford!

Best quote ever goes to Ralphie when looking over the shower. He asks mom if she "will you ever get into that shower". That one cracked me up. Nice purchase and Mom and Ralphie, really nice job. Ralphie good job helping mom, that's the mark of a good son, so nice work. Enjoy the summer and camping in the near future.
Sleeperdude Mama rocks!! She's an inspiration to all with her willingness to jump in and do anything! She can out work alot of guys I know! You should wear Crocs for a day in honor of her! Seriously Josh you have an amazing wife and family!
The Ralphie commentary throughout this video was definitely funny, especially when his mom was removing that nasty mattress. Considering what's available nowadays for RVs and pull behind trailers, a family of 5 staying in an RV like this would definitely look out of place. At least Ralphie and Wawa like it, Squeezy doesn't know what she's talking about.
When you first open the door to that old RV am was wondering if any one could stay in it for more then one minute ? Now it look rather good inside . Am glad to here that so much is working in the RV so you and you're family can use it for a trip this summer .

Y'all are so fun to watch. I live in my rare 17ft 35 year old 4wd Toyota Sunrader, had it for 25 years and put more than 200k on it. Hope y'all have as much fun in yours as I have.
This reminds me of my old 1983 Ford "HoneyBee" RV I used to have. It was almost in as bad of shape as this one when I bought it. Excellent video and I liked seeing how hard your wife and Ralphie worked cleaning it all up. It cleaned up pretty good over all. Hopefully it will make you a good RV. Keep up the great videos. Nice that you will try to fix this old camper camper. Fixing the roof will be a challenge, that will keep you busy for 2 weeks 😉. I will follow the project 👍
FRP panels are what I used to finish out the back of our '75 Winnie when I redid the walls. It's nice because they have matching t-moulds & end caps to trim it out. Glue it to the new wood/foam ceiling, and call it a day. Resilient & rot proof.

I'm very upset with Ralphie right now all The Times hes on the channel and he doesn't know the positive to the negative come on boy pay attention to daddy.
Cant wait for the follow ups to this video. I just love seeing unloved, unwanted machines of any sort being brought back to life AND used. The fact it's a motorhome makes it even more interesting. I remember our 1st caravan, I paid £250 for it, 30 years old and the guy I bought it off had used it for himself and his friends to go fishing in. Well, as I was towing it home I thought to myself "what on earth is my partner going to think of this thing?" SHE LOVED IT!!! 1st thing we did was rip the old Wilton carpet out of it and take every single door off the inside, deep cleaned every orifice and replaced all the doors with brand new brass hinges (she was an old girl). I replaced the carpet with a brand new item and the inside looked like a little palace. The outside was in pretty good condition so a real good wash, replace some small items of trim and we had, what I still consider to this day, the best caravan we have ever owned. Loved it. I bet you & your family will be just as proud and have a ball on your breaks in it. Good luck. 👍👍👍🏴
Nice to see y’all Josh & fam. Correct me if I’m wrong. I believe this is the RV you drove up North (South Dakota?) & it broke down. Right? Greetings from California🍾
Keys? Om all or nearly all RVs. the CH-741 key will fit everything except the entry door, and of course, the ignition and the cab doors. The roof isn't all that bad to repair. After taking everything off the effected area, peel back the rubber roof membrane, them the plywood and reveal the ceiling "studs" Which are generally made from 2x4s, radiused to provide the roof pitch for drainage. The inside is typically vinyl covered plywood, and you can find a "close enough" replacement at Home Depot or Lowes. I haven't rebuilt one for just over 30 years, but they are all pretty much the same. You can buy a re-roof EPDM rubber kit with the material, chemistry and instructions on line, these days. A/C? The roof air is pretty simple to remove or install. Take down the interior part, then remove the 3 or 4 very long bolts that hold the top and inside together. The Installation is really simple. Fits a 14x14 hole, as do the roof vents. That antenna is an old school TV antenna, meant to crank up and rotate from inside. Not digital.

They are hilarious together trying to work he is all the time telling her what to do it’s great
Mama and Ralphie did a great job! I think we sort of know in advance that things might not go quite to plan, but really looking forward to the next episode!
PS, it's not that hard to replace the roof on one of these things. If I can do it you guys certainly can. Good luck!
Thank you
Thank you
Nice snag for the price. The Misses and Ralphie did alot of work. It's cleaning up real nice. A camping we will go! Thanks for the video!

Mortske Repair mentions your channel almost every video here of Late.
Yes thank you .. I’m not exactly sure why other than he has picked up a few of my catch phrases such as whiskey dent

Mortsky is a hoot but Duff is the real star
@@Sleeperdude Josh where's wah-wah??
Cant wait for the follow ups to this video.
I just love seeing unloved, unwanted machines of any sort being brought back to life AND used.
The fact it's a motorhome makes it even more interesting.
I remember our 1st caravan, I paid £250 for it, 30 years old and the guy I bought it off had used it for himself and his friends to go fishing in.
Well, as I was towing it home I thought to myself "what on earth is my partner going to think of this thing?"
SHE LOVED IT!!!
Good luck.
👍👍👍🏴
That’s awesome thank you
Nice to see y’all Josh & fam. Correct me if I’m wrong. I believe this is the RV you drove up North (South Dakota?) & it broke down. Right? Greetings from California🍾
Thank you, yes that’s coming up in future videos
No spoiler alert?
Amazing work guys, from Glasgow, Scotland 🏴
Thank you
Can y’all adopt me? I promise I don’t eat much!😅😂😂😂😂
That’s funny
Ok thank you
