New subscriber, loved the video and the fact it's a family doing a project together : ) I have a used class A motor home i purchased last year and love working on it ( mostly upgrades ) as the coach was well taken care of. you asked if you did anything wrong? Nope if you fixed it and it works you did it right : ) and the family all helped that is a plus : ) My kids are all grown so mine is more of a keep me busy project. What you and your family have done together will be long lasting memories for all of you. Keep us posted on the progress and thanks for sharing your family with us for some of us it really makes our day to see family time in this messed up world.. Have a great day.

Haven’t finished the whole video yet. What you scraped off the roof that stuck to the osha flip flops was lap sealant. Old roof penetrations could be radio/tv antenna and solar connections. Your roofs probably good with all you did. If you have problems try the dicor over top on seams/penetrations. It seems to seep into cracks and holes if you put it on while it’s hot out. Get some rv toilet tank drop ins, really helps with the odor, and breaking up anything in the black tank. Nothing worse while on the road than black tank issues. If you have septic you can add a dump connection in your line. Can’t wait to see family trips in this beauty.

I heard the caratuff works better. Seen it on a bus redo. Not sure qat it's called but am I ever glad I seen the cheaper stuff they rolled on the roof. Had no idea they made it n they made it look so easy to put together too. There's a part you can get that let's you start the ac without using the power or all the power if the compressor so u can use batteries or a smaller geni etc. I wanted to put it on mine cuz my geni seems complicated that came with n I don't even know if it works yet. I was gonna buy one too. But also my ac isn't working in my front. Now I can deal with it too. I didn't realize the spare battery is for the geni. But I guess if we take it put the lights won't work either or will they run off the motor one? Plz explain in a vid when u can I guess my alt was charging it then but it seem to die so fast lol

Hey, next time you want to support a flimsy roof get a couple of lengths of 2x2 alloy box and put it on the topside, then when you screw the roof panels up you have something solid to screw to. It also makes a good base for solar panels and you won't need to make additional holes. Works great. 👍

You guys were so much fun to watch rehab this RV. You ALL worked hard to get this turned out like new. Mom was a killer on getting stuff done. Dad and Ralphie we're a work machine .
Inside outside the were there to tackle it. The girls we a indispensable team for all the interior work ... I have never seen a family work this hard TOGETHER for a reward like this. You guys are AMAZING! 🇺🇸👍

I've just fallen in love with your channel, i love how the whole family just pitches in and gets on with it, it looks like y'all have a really good relationship , and a really good work ethic, but apart from that, i love watching all the different projects that you do, I'm loving the motor home revamp, it's looking great.
Oh and i love all the animals you have, Rocky just loves to get in the thick of it, and seems to want to eat everything 🤦‍♂ .

I’ve found that self leveling RTV works about the best for an RV roof. It “puddles” to fill in the gaps. Most RV supply stores carry it

@@Sleeperdude use Dicor self leveling sealant or another rv specific roof sealant. Everything else will crack and eventually fail.

I have to agree with gym shoe; this family is impressive! The team spirit among ya'll shines through. Loving parents who encourage their children,
by regularly complementing their individual efforts. Asking them their opinions on different things. And, it's
plainly apparent by the kids' attitudes,
that what you're doing is working! They're learning to be self confident and capable in doing anything they put their minds to... Good going mom and dad! Because of this, I subscribed to your channel after only watching two episodes; and smashed the like botton
