Really awesome job fixing that RV up and no hint of any major mechanical problems. It just shows you if you spend enough time getting it ready for the road it will take care of you mile after mile. Here's to making a lot of great memories with the whole family. Another great video.
Great job on the rear brakes...only needed new cylinders. Spark plugs are always fun...you bring out the mini extension- multiple adapters, swivels 1/4 to 3/8 rackets....you end up using 28 different tools for what should be a three tool set-up..socket-extension-ratchet. On one car's starter...and had to used like 4 or 5 extensions to go out almost 3 feet to take out a bolt..no clearance.
Also replace the steering stabilizer shock that helps from getting front end wobble on these , but also they are very known for binding up when the get old and they can jam the steering up on a hard turns .
Great to see the RV on the road, For the delamination problem, get yourself a six pack of large syringes, and a pint of polyester resin, drill holes at the top of each bubble, [big enough for the nozzle of the syringe] mix up some resin and hardener, suck it up with the syringe, and inject into the holes you drill above the delaminated sections, while pushing against the skin [delaminated skin] to spread the resin around. Then take some two by fours and prop them against the skin to push the sections together, leave for three hours, and it should fix the delamination problems, repeat procedure on all problem areas. P.S. you will need one syringe for each area treated, as each syringe will become useless after thge resin hardens. Hope this helps, Wishing you and the family a spectacular time Camping. Al

When using an ultrasonic cleaner, always remember to take gravity into account. For eample, when cleaning a float bowl, put it in upside down. Otherwise, the sirt suspended in the cleaner will settle on the freshly cleaned area. Also, I found that to fully clean a carburetor, once the ultrasonic cleaning is done, spray the parts down with brake cleaner to remove any residue especially when cleaning jets and emulsion tubes.

I was replacing wheel bearings on my friends Volvo s40 last sunday...laying in the gravel driveway in the scorching hot sun. I know exactly how you feel.
What an incredible amount of work in such a short time! I'm loving this content as it is all so relatable. My good friend bought an '84 Chevy RV and went through many of the same issues, especially the wood rot. This required pulling out most of the interior of the coach early last year. Months of work were put into it. By fall, we were determined to drive it from IL to the big Fall Carlisle swap meet in PA. The RV was gone through and mechanically done, but was still missing most of the cabinets and the bathroom was non-existent. We were pretty anxious about the trip. Besides losing an alternator belt and some exhaust bolts, it ran fine and we had the best time. Can't wait to hear about your trip and see more content! Your family is just the best.
I can remember when I was told by my boss to charge the spark plugs on his camper. I took the dog house off did some from the top and crawled underneath and went through the wheel well as well. He was very shocked how fast I was able to change the plugs I didn't think I was fast.
Great vid as usual, had a question re: floor jack on gravel......how does that work for you,I have one and try to jack my car up ,well you know how they operate, always afraid of dropping the car,any advice? Keep up the great work and have a safe trip🤩

Awesome video...I've been waiting to see what the RV looks like since you got it , cleaned it up and did some interior renovating! It looks and sounds great! Will be anticipating your video's of how well she does on your road trips!!!!
Thank you
Riding in motorhomes is almost like riding in a motorboat! Great video a usual guys! A lesson in Celsius...lets use the number 20c for an example...so! 20x2=40-10%=36+32=68 Got that? So using that formula the temperature in Fahrenheit would be 68f. Now schools out for summer! lol 👍
Ok thank you I appreciate it
@@Sleeperdude Your welcome!
LOVE the content! Congrats and many happy miles!😃
Thank you
I was replacing wheel bearings on my friends Volvo s40 last sunday...laying in the gravel driveway in the scorching hot sun. I know exactly how you feel.
Yes !!!!
Thank you, what a great story. Our trip video is coming soon
I can remember when I was told by my boss to charge the spark plugs on his camper.
I took the dog house off did some from the top and crawled underneath and went through the wheel well as well.
He was very shocked how fast I was able to change the plugs I didn't think I was fast.
That’s funny yeah it’s not too bad with the doghouse off
Great vid as usual, had a question re: floor jack on gravel......how does that work for you,I have one and try to jack my car up ,well you know how they operate, always afraid of dropping the car,any advice? Keep up the great work and have a safe trip🤩
