MY NEW FAVORITE FAMILY CHANNEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome thank you
Do more old trucks!!!! They are my favorite. The first truck I remember was my dad's GMC. We were poor so it was probably late 50s, early 60s. GMC. I was born in 64 so those curved fenders and that heavy grill were a thing. I want to restore one but for now, I live vicariously through you. Thanks so much for what you do!
Josh I gotta say that I love watching your family! I came from a broken home and Its refreshing to see people doing things the right way! your kids are adorable and your wife loves you good job man!
Couldn't agree more !
Amen brother
Don't dwell in the past, friend. The best is yet to come.
@@ElCid48 2 steps forward and 3 steps back is how things go for me. i know it sounds chilche but i really do get royally fucked on a regular basis like im cursed or something. yes people do have it worse but i always have to learn thing the hard way. i hope that things do get better cuz i don’t wanna see anyone suffer!
@@mromatic17 I know where you’re coming from dude.
One farmer said to another, I can get in my truck and turn either direction out of my driveway and drive all day and never reach the end my property. The other farmer thought a minute and said, I used to have a truck like that once.
😂
Engine looks solid. Don't see any blow by at all. Amazing oil pressure. Only 59k miles seems about right. This truck is a jewel. Wish it was yours.
My gramps used to have an old Ford pickup and I still remember riding with him in it. Best memories of my life was the time I spent with him.
Hello Josh how are you and your family doing today God bless you and your family 🙏❤️ Amen God love you
I can't even imagine the hours you put into editing all of your footage to make videos for us to enjoy but I can say as a viewer, you guys do a fantastic job with the style you have created! I love the down-to-earth typical American family sharing time together with love, struggles, comedy, failures and successes! THANK YOU! 🇺🇸❤️👍
Thank you it’s a ton of work behind the scenes
Love how all the family works together you guys are an awesome family
I'm glad that you and your kids do all this work together and bring all those jewels back to life
Thank you
Let's not forget Tosh being main camera person and all round assistant to Sleeperdude
She definitely needs more recognition and her own T-shirt range ❤
That looks like the one my grandpa gave away, said it had a stuck clutch, as the new owners towed it home the clutch came unstuck and with some new gas they got it fired right up
Tip on how to remove the inside bearing and seal without damaging the seal.Remove the outer bearing and screw the nut back on then slide the rotor or drum off the spindle in a fast motion and that will remove the rear bearing
I love old trucks! Anything from the 50's, 60's, and 70's! Pretty much love all the cars from those era's too!
Love the video... thanks for taking us along for the 1st drive!
Kids will remember that day of the many times dad has been caught on camera for being a wonderful father and looks to have a happy wife so great husband as well thanks for taking us along with you on your journey through life I can see Ralphie growing up through your videos
Thank you
Great job, first time watching the "premiere", I think maybe you got to create a rule, no test drive without tools.
Keep up the great work, and thankyou for greasing the bearings and joints...^^
That truck is sweet. Kids will be driving like champions when they get older and take their driving tests. Always fun watching you and your family.👍🇺🇸
Love seeing the old Ford come to life, and that glass float bowl is perfect. Everything was doing fine up to the sardines in the can (just awful) LOL!

@@Fini-AC I got the same thing and yeah, it's a scam. I wrote to the e-mail address listed on his FB page. Hopefully there is something he can do to stop this, comforting to know I'm not alone.
Love that truck. The owner better be excited when you deliver it. Thank you for the fun, lessons, and sharing. Wawa needs a project of her own..she'll be driving in a few years.
Lots of channels on RUclips have videos of car and truck fixin' however this channel has family bonding like no other. Added bonus is cute livestock trying to be human.
Thank you
Got to tell you that your family is awesome helping you with these projects!!! WAWAA you remind me of the gals that helped me wash and fix my flips. Barefootin and cute as a button. I miss the 60’s . When my car would die their joke would be, “want s tow?” I’d say yes and they’d show their toes saying, take your pick. Well in the 60’s it was funny!!! 😂😅🤣👍👍
That’s great
If you only knew how much watching y’all reminds me of my childhood and life, I love y’all lol God bless
Thank you I’m glad you like it
Rocky is kind of annoying sometimes. Just like a real family member. We all have at least one. Great video , love how the family works together!
Sunday was Funday on the Sleeper dude channel. That was alot of fun. Thanks for taking me along on the test drive. We made home, WOO!
Brings new meaning to
"Give it some stick!".
Well done you lot ❤
Thank you
You know you're doing it right when the whole family starts to diagnose an issue when it happens . Problem solving like that is a life skill that will benefit them in alot of situations. 👍
Thank you
I love y’all! I found ur channel by accident couple months ago! I’m not interested in cars at all before until I see you & family helping u ! Tonight I really loved the truck I was born in 1958 so that’s like 100 yrs.ago an I just find it really interesting!! Keep up the good content!
This is turning into my new favorite channel....Love it
Absolutely love your family and videos! Keep up the great work!
Headlight Crocs!! 🤣🤣🤣 Well, I guess your feet have to see where they're going. Great work on the truck! 👍👍 Drives and stops really good! The owner will be more than excited about it! Thanks for sharing guys!
I’ve only fairly recently come across your channel and it’s very enjoyable, great how the whole family get involved. Oh and the animals, love from the UK.
Thank you
We love seeing the whole family and critters involved. I think that silky chicken has been digging on Ralphies new hair style and is trying to copy him, that bird is a copycat. Lol, keep up the great entertainment we love both channels❤👍
Awesome video of bringing back a survivor truck...like you I truly enjoy the ole trucks...seeing this one brought back memories of going fishing with my uncle Charles in his old International truck with the Jon boat bouncing around in back. Thanks again for great content and appreciate you sharing this genuine old truck.😁🇺🇸👍
Beautiful old truck! I think the baby silky should be named Kramer. It has the same hairstyle as Kramer on Seinfeld. 😆
I can say with total honesty that I've been in a home that took a direct hit from a tornado. It's not an adrenaline rush I would recommend. Was about 8 feet away from being crushed by a gigantic tree that fell through my dad's room and actually pushed his bed through the floor. If the house wasn't raised on one end to be level on a hill, I'd be a goner right now
Doesn't surprise me....Jebidiah. ..
Awesome work that truck is amazing.
My favorite RUclips Family!!! Y’all are the best!!
You guys make me laugh and smile more than just about anything else on Y/T...~applause~ on another awesome vid, keep cranking them out! T/Y
What a gem! I was really starting to wonder if that OHV L6 was actually the original engine until I looked it up. As it turns out, 1952 was the first year for the OHV 6, but the V8's were still the 239 flathead. Surprisingly, the OHV 6 had exactly 1 more horsepower and a few extra ft.-lbs. of torque than the V8! Go figure... It would probably be a plan to pull that tank back out and drill the sending unit plate out for a top mounted draw tube to alleviate the clogging issues, and just plug that bottom fitting. They are a constant source of fuel issues on those old Ferds! My grandfather had 2 of them, a '47 dump truck, and a '51 pickup with a flathead V8, and he had to convert both of them, since neither one would run more than 30 minutes without plugging the fuel line.😛
Yeah I was wondering to until I researched it
Great episode. Love the truck.
Well done guys 👍🏻
A classic back on the road
Thank you
Some how i missed the last half of this great rescue mission. ...Mama has lost weight its late October now way to go. Ya'll must be related with reverse all the way to a driveway and hacksaw blade and a twig LOVED IT !!!!
Thank you
suggestion when you change the oil in your daily driver save it and use that in these builds because you know it wont be in their long then on the next change use the fresh
I do this, infact my uncle has a wrecking yard and i rigged up a lifestraw to a hose and click clack pump and car battery. I pump the gas out of the tanks and put in in barrels! I have 6 55 gallon barrels of free gas that as long as it isnt too bad put into my 1994 f150 4x4 and it works great!
Learning curve... Never leave home without at least a Leatherman. Never go more than a couple of miles from base doing shakedown runs. And wear proper shoes in case you end up walking home. Here endeth the lesson... Love that truck, reminds me of half the old black & white American movies that I grew up with. Great fun, folks. 👍
Our family LOVES your channel! I’m the only car “nut” but they love to watch too! You constantly put out content unlike others! Great editing on this episode!! Short, sweet but still about an hour long which we like. Great to have a “family” show to watch! Keep up the great work!
My dad had one of those he bought new in '52, He used to sell vegetables grown on his family farm in Kingston Massachusetts after WW2 . He built a box in the bed to hold what he was selling. I have a picture of my mother who he married in 1950 next to the truck long before I was born. He maintained the farm until the house and land was sold in 1967 after my grandmother died. I still remember the old truck and the big '50 Plymouth parked in the barn. Good memories.
Absolutely wonderful! Tell Ralphie to hold that clutch steady as soon as he feels it move.
FYI: they have a gas tank sealer for old rusty gas tanks.
Use a bag of marbles and some simple green. Rinse tank out and let it dry. Pour the tank sealer in and swish it and move it around to coat the inside! Like new!!
Ok thanks
Your kids are so lucky to have you guys as their parents! Actually spending time raising your children...what a concept! Great to see!
What a COOL old Ford truck!!!! You can fix ANYTHING!!!! Brake lines, No Problem!!! Tire removal and remount (at home) No Problem!!! I thought for a minute you hired a "Hollywood Movie Star"....No that's Ralphie with a "Movie Star Haircut"!!! Wa-Wa is thinking she is driving this truck to school pretty soon!! This truck here is a Keeper!!!! Great Show!!!! Keep them coming!!
Thank you so much
Got to tell you that this truck is awesome. Nice job guys. Love the sound!!! Yes needs original mirrors!!!
You said the country roads were made for cars that age. When I was a kid most of the county roads in our part of Oklahoma were dirt or gravel. The funny thing the county would spray oil on the roads in front of the farm houses to knock down the dust. The oil did not kill anything, it made the weeds along the side of the road grow very well. I feel very fortunate to have grown up in those days. My first car was a 1954 Ford and paid $600.00 for it with 30,000 miles on it. I bought it in in 1959.
“House trained snapping turtle” had me laughing
I’m glad you liked it, my buddy Cory used to say that.
Cliff's Sardines in Hot Sauce 🥵🔥with a sleeve of saltine crackers and a cold one ! ✔️💯
Josh..your videos are the highlight of our Sunday afternoon. My Dad had the exact same truck on our tobacco farm in NC.
This reminds me of cutting wood back in my 20's, wife and i cut in a drizzle to point we couldn't and when we went to go it clicked once and then nothing, turned out the contact between the solinoid and starter was missing on a chevy squarebody,, i rummaged around truck and found a broken hacksaw blade a 22 mag bullet and a drywall screw, cut the end off the bullet after pullin lead/powder ofcourse and used the brass to replace the copper tube that was missing and used the screw to jam/wedge it back together,, and it saved the day, was sleeting and near dark, i had to use a lighter to see my fingers move cuz i couldn't feel what i was doing,, anyway,, love ur abilities including ur editing and ur sense of humor u and family have, keep doin what ur doin ✌❤
Some of my best memories are of my girls sitting on my lap and steering up or down the driveway. Then when they could finally reach the pedals and drive me to the mailbox or whatever it was special. It don't take much for us country folk. Love your interaction with your kids. Hope it isn't just for the camera. I've got a feeling it is off camera as well. Keep it up. 👍
Yes thank you
Nice to see the family gets involved with old fashioned car repairs
What an awesome video!!!! You guys are my absolute favorite channel on RUclips. I had a '55 Ford F-100. My very first vehicle. I put a 430 Lincoln in it. You wanna talk about torquey!!!! It would do burn-outs for days, Ralphie!!!!
I do believe Ralph was right about fords Josh. Very shortly after he mentioned it, the truck died. Love the way your whole family does it all together. Awesome. Wawa, you good girl, keep driving.
Nice for Wawa to see all the intricacies of car repair at her age!
Love me a car with a clutch, had 3 vw's and a Subaru. I was born in 1950, so the Volkswagen's were a 69, 72 and 74. Nothing like getting pushed and popping the clutch to get started. Proud to say when I got married and had the subaru a mechanic told my husband whoever is driving this has not damaged the clutch at all.
My health just took a turn for the worst. I was hit on my motorcycle in 2010 . And broke my neck. I've had 2 life saving surgerys since. And in 2019 was diagnosed with dual lung cancer. Throat cancer and have a thyroid. They told me I had 30 to 60 days to live. But I'm still here. But I've Ben badling hi blood pressure. For the last 30 days. 175 over 90 . And I'm on heart medication. But nothing is helping. My heart Doctor's just told me last Tuesday that I have about 30s left in life. But only God knows what . I'm a very positive person. All of the time. 24/7 .that's the way I live my life all the time. And always have. You and your family I have brightened my days with each and every video you have shared with me and everyone. I look forward to seeing you all every day I wake ⏰ up . Thank you and your family. That means the world 🌎 to me to see them. Hope you and have a amazing week. Your friend Motor Mike from Milwaukee Wisconsin.
I love that the kids are learning to drive a old 3 on the tree with no power assist any thing. great video and so clean and family oriented
Yes for sure thank you
Loved this video! Not only was great seeing you fix that sweet little truck. But you had me chuckling the whole time.😁 You guys are funny and entertaining. Keep up the good work!! 👍🏼❤️😊
Thank you
i can say that the mechanics while interesting, are mixed with family and that sir is a winning combination!.... I think the pig drinking soda and the Vienna sausage eating goat at the end is the icing on the cake, i think your videos are cool in that you show regular life and you don’t try to drag the video out for monetary gain, thanks!👍🏿
Great job Josh, with your families help I am sure you will make the truck owner and family very pleased!
I'm voting for you as one of the coolest Dads in the world. God bless.
Another great video. That truck is awesome!
Thank you
Nothing like fixing something with just what you have on hand !! Some people might not agree but it is fun !!
Yall Rock as a family. Awesome channel and love it until the end. Really enjoy Rocky and the animals. In thought and prayers.
Enjoy Watching Your RUclips Channel with You and Your Family Work Together ❗Yall Keep Up The Great Work My Friend ‼️

My Dad had a 48 Bonus the same colour as this 52. It had the flathead V8 and 4-speed crashbox and I loved riding in it because the sound of the straight cut gears in that box were so musical and the V8 could idle so low you could almost hear each cylinder fire. Seeing this F1 moving along the road brought back a lot of great memories. I've enjoyed the series on the beast - even the breakdown had a positive ending! To my mind, a vehicle with its original running gear still working well should be left intact and run as is, rather than repowered with a modern engine just for the sake of it, so it was great to see that she's still got some good miles left on that engine and everything working as it should. Great looking truck and great to see that she can still be driven by your youngsters too! All the best
Awesome content what a wonderful
Old truck. Well done Josh and team!
Thank you
I'm a Ford truck fan from way back. I was born in 1952. An F1 from 1952 is my dream. The first Vehicle I owned and made payments on was a 1968 F100 Camper special with a 360 motor. It was also the first vehicle I ever swapped a motor in. I replaced the 360 with a 351W during the fuel "crises" in 1974. I loved that motor.
That’s awesome
Almost a going to town rig! Love it guys!
This is a great old truck. You do wonders to these old vehicles.
Thanks Josh , just checked my rear end and everything is A O K 👍🏻, great advice 😁.
But, is it clean?
@@unclerick4569 Spotlessly clean , no rust and well LUBED 😉👍🏻
I appreciate you a very good dad got them working with you and training very well as they grow older no excuse for not knowing driving. Great dad.
Thank you
Hello fam, love this truck. I think Rocky is a rockstar 😜🤣
Just watched this one and you've fixed an incredible old truck. It's a shame that it's not part of your rolling stock. I have childhood memories of riding in a black one that belonged to my cousin in the mountains of Applachia. Keep up the good work and when you don't post a new vid quick enough for me, I just go back and watch an older one like this.
Great video Josh! What a cool truck, it's a true survivor.
Yes for sure thank you
I cannot believe how great shape the body is on that truck,,love it and I'd never paint it,its earned it patina!
Love the truck. Great job getting it back home after the breakdown.
Wawa deserves a big credit on this video content and salute that every member of this family help one another

Absolutely!!
His editing is getting really good Different camera angles. These guys are great American people.
Love that old truck! Now I can watch Ralphie’s corvette video.
I hope them people who own that truck appreciate all what you're doing for him LOL
😊
I just now saw!!! YOU ROCKED MY SARDINES BRO!...so, what did you think? Both of my teenagers say " dad's eating bait again". I love em' , can't get enough lol. p.s. I learned how to drive in a 1950 Chevrolet pick em' up truck in the country when I was seven years old.It had a straight six with a crank start! And it had the compound low "granny gear" in it stock. My pop's pulled a bus out of the ditch with it once. They don't make em like that anymore.

I love the old 40's through the mid 60's styles of trucks. Always wanted a '59 Chevy Apache or a '48 Dodge. Growing up I used to drive a '57 Ford F100 with a welded rear axle, towing a hay wagon, following behind the baler through the fields and usually up the road for a half mile to our neighbor's barn whom we shared the hay with as that was one of those great big old wood barns with the second floor all being one big loft. Me and Benadryl got to be close friends in those days, LOL! except back then the brand name was A.R.M. from Contac and stood for Allergy Relief Medicine. When we got that truck it looked like some hippy had taken a red truck and a paint brush and just drizzled white and yellow paint from the brush all over that thing. We didn't have enough of any one color to paint it with so we mixed what we did have which was red, green and blue and it made a color we called Burple as it was brown...ish with a sort of purplish hue to it, but hey, at least it was all one color when we got through, LOL!
Love how the kids are learning something useful to use during Zombie breakouts or other breakdowns 😂
What a hoot that was how cool it is
I’m glad you liked it

I think I was scammed. I received a message I thought was from you saying I won your contest. I see other RUclipsrs are posting the same message. Apologies for the confusion.
I am so sure, on the road they switched rolls. Pops is talking talking talking, and Son is like 'Yeah!!" 😁
My third son and I were restoring a 47 pickup 13 years ago. Those are the memories that get bring a smile to face on bad days. Nows it's me and my 2nd son that fix and restore what we have at the time. Myself and so many others enjoy yourchannel
That’s great thank you
