Keep John I cracked up when he goes “I traced it” 😂😂
Right!? That was perfect
John should definitely stay around
I appreciate the tenacity of a guy willing to jump into the trash can and act as a compressor. He's a keeper.
I’m only in for 6 minutes.. but you sir are absolutely right
Where's mooki??
Totally!
I agree keep John around he is awesome
Definitely keep John on the videos. He's funny, and he seems like good people. He also got excited about finding a Destroyer cassette. 😂
The floor of that Bronco reminds me of the 61 ford econoline van I had back in the 70s I was at an intersection waiting for the light to change. A dodge challenger pulled up along side me with a hot looking babe in the passenger seat. The guy revved up his engine and I revved up the straight six with the oil bath air cleaner. The light changed to green, the challenger peeled out, and I put the gas pedal on my econoline, through the floor!
John is my favourite "guest appearance" so far lol.
“Aww man it’s a salvage title! That’s totally gonna lower the value!” 😂
there goes the five bucks we were looking for LOL.
"When I was your age I was nineteen." Words to live by.
"There's oil in the oil.... that's good!"
Yeah lol
bahahahahahaaaa🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There ain't supposed to be oil in there.
Nice lol
.
I couldn't be more jealous of you guys having a great time working on junk and camping. Well done.
Keep John. He's got a froggy face! Seriously fun episode guys!
yes, i agree 100000000%
Yeah, I can definitely get used to a kind-hearted guy like him --- he's a typical outwardly-manly dude with a marshmallow-gooey center :P
"My Safe Word is 'Peaches'" needs to be a T-Shirt
John “My safe word is peaches”😂😂😂😂 i about died
Hahaha, i laughed so hard at that
He had me at "I traced that." !!
Lol
I was thinking Roadrunner would be appropriate
Reminded me of that joke " if we went camping and you woke up with your butt all greasy would you tell anyone"?
So when ya wanna go camping🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What happens in the cornfields stays in the cornfields. 🌽
I'm an eagle scout, and I heavily agree with that interaction. "Hey your an eagle scout" "yeah me too", "alright now let's do something dumb and hurt ourselves".
Thats so cool that you put diagrams on while your talking. Explains alot more on how things work !!! Nice job on the start solenoid diagram!
Two things:
1) Keep John he's hilarious
2) Kevin you don't know how to pronounce hammock?
2A) or waylon jennings
Couple stop signs will fix your floor and can you do more revivals of those Ford trucks right next to the bronco that would be awesome and John should stick around he’s cool
John should stick around. He's got the same crackhead energy we expect from the junkyard digs crew
😂😂😂
John needs to stay he had me laughing so hard it was ridiculous
And he has a cool mullet lol
Keep him
@@kylemoseley2239 definitely gotta keep john
Can we plz keep John ,Kevin plzzzz
He's a keeper. 👍
keep this Johnboy around, his art is tantalizing
“I traced it” funniest thing I’ve heard today
oil in the oil had me laughing
"My safe word is Peaches!" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 2020 quote of the year.
What's wrong with using a "C" clamp to hold the exhaust on? Bungee cords tend to melt.
Nothing like a temporary permanent fix.
JC Whitney Sells something called Clamp A Stud just for this purpose. I used one for my old F150 and it worked perfectly and lasted the life of the vehicle. A great solution for corroded or broken exhaust studs.
Westen champlin has been here!!! The C clamp is evidence!
Not going to lie but the passenger side manifold on my 74 f250 is held onto the motor with 4 bolts and 3 c clamps. Ford fed motors tend to snap all of the top bolts on the exhaust manifolds
@@SHUTTHEFRIDGEDOOR I believe the term is 'permanently temporary'
We had a great time with this video! Yep. John's a keeper.
As a fellow Iowan with a fascination for crusty old Fords I've been loving all the recent videos. Keep it up!
John is definitely a keeper. He made me laugh too many times to not be kept around!
Yeah, we like John. Good vibes, would love to see him more here!
This has got to be my absolute favorite episode from this channel. Cannot wait for part 2!
You really need to work on your Australian accent!
Oohohohhhh, collab incommin??😍😍
That was terrible
Up your game blokes
He promised he would stop doing it.
Digs and Thunderhead, the WORST Australian accents of all time😁
ya he really needs to work on not doing it...
"Freddy the Frog came in my face!" Well you don't hear that every day 😂
As a John, I know you can never have enough Johns! And he is innovative, a nature lover and ....funn..Frogs like him! Keep him, be merciful and magnanimous!
John is a requirement for this Chanel
You should definitely hit up a scrap yard/landfill/recycling center and grab either a refrigerator or a couple of stoves to cut up for sheet metal and give yourselves floorboards; maybe get some angle iron and tack in a new cross-member.
Holy fuck that’s not a bad idea
Yea and use roll bars where the rusted out panel is
Or find a shait load of license plates.
Road signs are funny, I used about everything on mine 😂
That bronco has the same amount of rust and rot as my 77 k5. You gotta keep John around he really adds to the channel.
Froggin' hilarious!🤣🤣🤣 A new star is born.
John is the coolest member yet
Harness the power of the mullet. Respect the mullet.
this is the first junkyard digs video ive ever watched about a year ago, been a fan since!!
"I found a road flare"
Bro I lost it at that point
as a guy that lives in iowa, who is in to 70's ford trucks, im glad to have found another guy from iowa who is into 70's fords. keep up the great work.
“I traced that by the way..”. 😂
First! Thank your for the carb lesson.
Second, John is a must! I can only imagine what you two and Luke could do together in the laughter department.
Third, Keep up the amazing content. Think more of these camping revivals are a must.
I got the fun of learning how to rebuild a 2 brl carburetor soon so its nice see another 2 brl carburetor being rebuilt.
John and Wyatt are my favorite guests.
John's pretty cool. Anybody with hair like that has to be cool. Business in the front party in the back. Lol
Definitely keep John around he is hilarious, the “face frog” scene was awesome!!
Needs more Mook
She’s a lot easier on the eyes than these mugs that’s for sure 😃😂
Thanks for posting this it was a good end to a Shite week! Eagle Scout here as well. Camping and wrenching sounds like a great weekend.
John should 100% become part of the gang
Yeah John should stay he fits right in with everyone lol 😂
Eagle Scouts? You got this. I knew there was something about John that made him cool. Keep him on the channel. Kevin, your uncle was really cool too when you did the diesel truck.
WE THE PEOPLE REQUEST JOHN TO STAY ON THE CHANNEL PERMANENTLY!
John frogman is cool he's a keeper Great video guys looking forward to next one
I say keep John he’s a great add on
Awesome part 1 Kevin @Junkyard Digs
When that dude started jumping on the seat... look, this has been a tough year but THAT was one of the more uncomfortable moments I had. Did I mention I had a liver biopsy a few weeks back?
How did the biopsy go?
John is an excellent addition to the video. He asks questions so the rest of us can learn a little more.
Such a king as the kid who was an eagle scout survival mode.
Great video guys. Carburetor lesson, nature documentary, jokes...good stuff. Stick around John.
Yeah put him on the payroll, the I’m kinda funny sometimes, then I traced it joke had me choking! 😂
Let John stick around. All you guys are great and the energy is good. John is a good ingredient to the gang
And remember John, if you start to be eaten by Coyotes, it's all about the content. Damn, Iowans are going to be responsible for bringing back the Mullet.
Keep John he's a hoot. Kevin glad you got the Bronco going. Hope this is going to be a good truck for the Challenge. This is so totally awesome, college is good thing.
Where's Mook?
It's a boys camp day, and Mook is probably still cleaning her hair of mud ;)
R.I.P mook
@@jontrudell7529 What does that mean?
I made a 3/4 inch thick C clamp for my 1977 f150 4x4. The bolt was rusted or permanently fused in the hole and the ear just broke away. But there's enough metal inboard of the hole so I drilled a socket in it. I put a 60 degree point on a section of bolt and it fits snuggly inside one end of my clamp and the pointed end fits snuggly in the socket hole I drilled in the manifold. I put another half inch diameter bolt through the other end of the clamp and a nut welded on the outside of the clamp. The bolt goes through the nut through the hole in the clamp and then against the manifold pipe flange it draws up very tight and has been on the truck for years. Some day I will put on a new manifold. By the way the other bolt came out. I had the manifold off the truck and had been soaking these bolts for weeks. Even with heat the one bolt was pretty much married to the manifold material and despite the fact that I have successfully freed many of stuck bolts the ear gave out. There was rust in the crack , old rust so it had been cracked for many years. Headers don't work well on these trucks as the drive train is in way on the right side. Only a couple manufacturers make headers for the 351 400 modified engines and they go through inner fender.
14:50 "you can't even read" lol
Your automotive necromancy never ceases to amaze me!
I’m literally missing the controller to my old Nintendo if you kept that I need that please!
What
@@mrpotatoman5678 he's missing the controller to his old nintendo, if Kevin still has the one he found in this video, this guy could use it
It would probably be completely corroded, better idea to order one of amazon
go on ebay
John would make a great addition to the channel.
Thank you for not calling it a "Montreal". I can't even count all the arguments I've had with boomers about the origins of that engine.
This is the first time I've ever heard it called that 😂
@@JunkyardDigs I think it started because of the Windsor and Cleveland being named after where they were designed or manufactured. So all the old white guys got together in their cargo shorts and New Balance shoes to decide the Modified is now a Montreal.
Haha its Midland actually
@@young11984 Oh jesus...
@@pv2xeek WTF are you talking about, nobody calls it that. The last time Ford had a plant in Montreal was 1932, you make no sense.
That Cougar at 5:47 is similar to the one I bought in 1979 after I totaled out my 78 XR7. Mine has a 351W and a moonroof. Also I need a long bed for my 75 F150 with with 2 gas tanks without a rusted out floor.
Keep John on he's business up front and party in the back. LOL
You guys shoulda done that Bronco II in the background. For some reason those are cool now and appreciating in value.
Both seniors in college? That's just in case twisting wrenches doesn't work out?
Isnt he doing automotive something something course?
Really appreciate the drawings accompanying the explanations, super helpful
John's pretty funny, he's like the short Channing Tatum with more hair, lol.
The old princess auto trick on the exhaust manifold ever good!
The dude in the stine hoodie looks like kenny from the movie how high... 😂
...and Willie Ames from Eights Enough 😄
...or Moocher in Breaking Away
YES keep John on the channel !!!
Keep John. I like John. John is funny 😆
Getting pretty good there Kev. John seams like a keeper. Kind of a Spicoli, totally awesome.
How extremely lucky I am to have a rust free 1979 Ranger XLT Bronco.
Yes, yes you are.
Dude, Bronco seem to rust even worst then F150's. Its so bad, and I can never figure it out why.
@@thatmarred_mustang the Bronco was abused by mud and off roading. People don’t realize what mud does to a vehicle. Just think about it, slinging mud onto it is like wet blasting. Over time it wears away the paint and then infiltrates behind everything holding water and as the vehicle is driven the mud, with rocks, vibrates and wears away even more finishes. That’s why Broncos are usually rust buckets. Also the quarter panels for 78 and 79 Broncos were of a metal that was not widely used by Ford. The drive trains of the Bronco was fantastic but the bodies were abused by drivers having fun and not realizing what was being done to the Bronco. I will not put my Bronco through mud.
@@richardcrouse9074 Not to mention all the water and dirt traps in the rear quarters.
Lol Kevin is the zoom instructor for carburetor 101 lmfao 🤣😂 @Junkyard Digs
Awesome, I love these camping revivals. I see nothing wrong with some night time beer drinking and shenanigans. Lol
Man I’m early today love the content man
Dude keep John. That frog stuff killed me
John is a brave man! If that was me and my friends this would happen.
Me getting a bit tipsy.
Me falling asleep in the hammock.
Them going out in the middle of the night (IE ten minutes later) cutting one of the lines.
Me testing gravity and losing badly.
Me going to the hospital with some sharp object perturbing from my back (probably a fork or other cutlery).
So John is a brave man!
Keep him, he's hilarious
John you gotta stay with the channel dude lots of laughs here, I was waiting for "I got a flare I got a flare" BOOM!!
Would have wet myself laughing had that happened lol
Great content as usual, shame Mook wasnt with you all too
“Preferably a Ford” - that’s why I love your channel lol !!!!
That Ford is perfect for a mudd truck. Can't wait to see what u do with this build!!!
I had a 79 Bronco when we rebuilt the engine we put in the 400 cubic inch rods and pistons and a four barrel intake those 351ms really come alive with that upgrade. Sadly my Bronco had almost as much rust as yours and I decided to sell it before the tailgate fell off.
I am rightwingduck, and I approve this message

˚✧₊⁎❝᷀ົཽ≀ˍ̮ ❝᷀ົཽ⁎⁺˳✧༚
That's dark wing duck, !!!
Normal people: Scared to see fire coming out of the carburetor
Kevin: Literally sprays it with quick start 😂🤟🏼
Keep John around he might be able to do some great paint graphing and make a good design on your vehicles
hell, i slept in a snowdrift in my army issue mummy bag during reforger maneuvers in germany with 20 degree temps and was all toasty warm, so 40's in a hammock shouldn't be an issue for john. here's a useful tip, the flat sheet ceiling panels from inside of that old school bus are an awesome source for cheap, heavy sheet steel to repair the floors and body panels in the flintstone's bronco. a little hammertime, some self tappers, and a coat of spray on bedliner, and yer stylin. i've used them many a time, in fact the last bus i scrapped out i bought just to get the ceiling panels out of it. i still have a couple of them kicking around somewhere. they also make an excellent benchtop surface for that ratty old wooden workbench that everybody has in their garage. the main benefit is no more splinters under yer fingernails from trying to pick up small stuff off of yer bench.
Where’s junkyard mook?
Her weirdness is half the reason I watch this channel.
Probably icing her neck after that flip on the 4×4
dead
@ dead?
Before you asked if John should be on channel I was thinking this dudes hilarious and needs to be on channel.
" A manual or an Auto Transmission..........."
Yeah I caught that too lol
Narrows it down a bit, or not. 😂
I think I may know the answer to the scary story, the carburetor was a Quadrajet
