RV almost as gorgeous as Duke! Seriously though, I personally know Duke and know the work that him and his friend Zachary put into this project, so cool seeing them get some well deserved recognition, they spent months and put their sweat and tears into this bad boy. Great job fellas!
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures Me too! I love the set up inside and the newer one don’t have the storage charm that the older ones do!!!Love it love it!!!
My 1991 has that exact same control panel. I wish I could find a replacement for it but the switches are easy to replace. Honestly the older RV’s are better built. You see brand new rigs that already have major problems and are weak structurally. For as much as they charge it’s crazy.
Our first RV was a 1989 29' Fleetwood trailer. We bought it, towed it to the tire place and had all new tires put on it. Lots of really good and a few oops! memories in that trailer! He and his buddy did an awesome job on this. I know first hand (Class C Four Winds) how much goes into an RV that had water damage. Lots of memories triggered by this post. Thanks to both of you for showing this.
I've been building & restoring campers for years, as well as building homemade Campers (On my Channel), but I really enjoy my Van which I just finished. Great RV, love the class C motorhomes.
Loved this video. We bought a vintage 1987 last night and your video is amazing I’m more in love with mine now I can’t wait to get back in and check it out like this.
This was so fun to watch!! What a terrific renovation!! Loved the detailed explanation, great tour, his enthusiasm, passion and his contagious joy about this old rv!! Your follow up questions are good too. Thanks for such interesting content.
Yes ! Those old motorhomes are nice. I like the small ones- I've got an '84 Nissan 20-footer. The little 4-cylinder takes a while to get it up to highway speed, but the mileage [16-18] makes it so affordable to travel. I do wish I had the headroom the Chevy Fleetwood has and that big shower area is amazing. I have left the old wood doors and paneling unpainted- it just feels right.
Really loved this tour! My RV is a 1978 Dodge and his tips were useful for my RV as well! He gave a great tour and seems like a great guy! Looking forward to following his remodeling!
I just picked up a 1978 class C it’s called the Apache-22 foot looks just like this one only a little older, but it’s got a 400 small block Chevy. The camper only has 10,000 original miles but it needs a lot of TLC and elbow grease and cleanup and my goal is to make it as beautiful as yours. Nice dude keep up the good work.
Hello PATRICK! Thank you for filming and showing DUKE's tour of his and his friend's 1989 motor home which they so skillfully transformed into a young and vibrant tiny home. My favorite thing in the video is Duke's pride in the finished home. It is not often that you see a person, born after 1999, who could be so in love with a vintage vehicle that they would be able to see its possibilities, much less find two young men willing to work their butts off to figure out all of its systems, rebuild almost every inch of it, and develop the skills and use them to transform her into something they trusted enough to take an extended and fun trip in her, a🤩nd not only that, to be willing to see her, and take on the daunting task of transforming yet another vintage rusted old motor home. He and his buddy should be proud of all they have accomplished. 🤩
Ha! Lighting that pilot on the stove is soooooooo old school! To see your choice interest and need for adventure is a breath of fresh air. It's great to see people "doing them" in a wholesome way that resonates with *their spirit! Cheers to you
I watched this entire video, Duke kept me focused and is entertainingly thorough and the host allowed him to explain without cutting him off! kudos to the host
Hi I just watched your video and I love how well you described what you did to bring back your Jamboree back to life. I have a 1991 Ford 350 eJamboree Rally. My son and I started to fix up. And you gave me hope that it can be done.
what a wonderful rig, makes me sad, my guy friend had one but when he passed away his daughter took it to live in. But she was not actually going to do it, just wanted it. He had wanted me to have it but did not make it happen before he died. Love this tour, so complete and so many great ways this was made and re done. Thanks so much.
Judy, what a selfish mean thing fir her to do to you. I live in a school bus for last eleven years. Not "finished " yet. Stimulus checks are my sources for supplies and plumbing , flooring etc. Has electric, carpet(bad idea) , no running water or bathroom. But my and kitties home.😁😸
This Is the Floor plan for me! ... and the open shelves were brilliant. ... And If it was mine I would have more of the kitchen, and less closet space. I would have removed the front bedroom loft's front window and put in more storage. But Wow near perfection for me!
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures Smart move, Patrick. Clearly, his sincerity and enthusiasm are genuine. In my experience, that’s not teachable. It’s a gift which people respond to and feed off of.
Great Job. Love it. You can take a piece of fabric and spray glue on the back of cushions to hide wood and staples and will help so it don’t scratch the table top..
Wow. I really like how he explained and showed everything. He was very thorough. And what an amazing renovation! I would like to know if it got sold? Anyway, thank you for this video!👍
How cool. We just bought ours 3 weeks ago and r on the road 1st timers so awesome. Were from ct. And were in va beach right now headed south then west. We have a 2016 navion. 25ft. He is a handsome young man.And seems a handy one as well.
Love these older RV!! The new one can’t compare!!! They did do a fantastic job!!
I love the way he showed how everything works. Lots of people say, “there is the locked access to whatever”.
Yeah, that part does make a big difference.
Because he's selling it
@@nedaCFilms yes but even folks selling a rig usually don’t know how to give a detailed tour like this. 🤷🏾♀️
He literally went through and showed everything that was really cool of him to go into such detail
Thank you very much
I love how he & his buddy have respected the original design while updating what needed to be updated. Great job!!
Totally agree!
I love seeing these older RV's being renovated and loved. My favorites.

It's a great makeover. They made magic on this RV ! Bravo !!!

Go for it.
So practical and very well thought out. The restoration was great without being overdone. Stayed true to the period of the RV.
I love it!
😎✌️🤙🤘😎
Right on!
The only thing I would change is to repaint/epoxy the bathroom sink & shower to be white, instead of the yellowed plastic.
The storage is amazing.
Simply beautiful. He gave a great tour.
I think so too!
Brilliantly done. You can tell he knows every inch of that place. Super impressive.
That was the most detailed interview, Love this guy 🙂, my old school RV is a 1985 Chevy Allergo class A ❤
