- In this video Duke gives us a tour of his 1989 Fleetwood RV Class C motor home on the Chevy chassis. Duke and his buddy purchased this in preparation for an epic road trip across America. In this tour he gives us an in depth look into where all the systems are and how they work. Duke will be selling this camper and will post a link in the comments.

This guys vibe is so pure and genuine.
I agree.
Yea...it's brand new
He literally went through and showed everything that was really cool of him to go into such detail
Thank you very much
I love the way he showed how everything works. Lots of people say, “there is the locked access to whatever”.
Yeah, that part does make a big difference.
Because he's selling it
@@nedaCFilms yes but even folks selling a rig usually don’t know how to give a detailed tour like this. 🤷🏾♀️
I love how he & his buddy have respected the original design while updating what needed to be updated. Great job!!
Totally agree!
RV almost as gorgeous as Duke! Seriously though, I personally know Duke and know the work that him and his friend Zachary put into this project, so cool seeing them get some well deserved recognition, they spent months and put their sweat and tears into this bad boy. Great job fellas!
Thank you very much Erik
Know him personally, mm?
Soooo does he have a girl?
Asking for, ermmm, a friend 🙃
@@sophiemarcaurele 😆 LOL a Sophie friend!!
He is a handsome young man.And seems a handy one as well.
Love these older RV!! The new one can’t compare!!! They did do a fantastic job!!
I love seeing these older RV's being renovated and loved. My favorites.
Mine too!
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures Me too! I love the set up inside and the newer one don’t have the storage charm that the older ones do!!!Love it love it!!!
Cute motor home ... even cuter owner.🤗
Thank you 🙏🏼
BOI!!!
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures was this RV sold ? And how much ?
24:03 Finding replacement parts! Yikes!!! You just saved (me) and a whole lotta other people from a whole lotta trouble. Thank you!
Amazing job! Those older ones are really space efficient but often rotted out and lots of work. This is done beautifully!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hello PATRICK! Thank you for filming and showing DUKE's tour of his and his friend's 1989 motor home which they so skillfully transformed into a young and vibrant tiny home. My favorite thing in the video is Duke's pride in the finished home. It is not often that you see a person, born after 1999, who could be so in love with a vintage vehicle that they would be able to see its possibilities, much less find two young men willing to work their butts off to figure out all of its systems, rebuild almost every inch of it, and develop the skills and use them to transform her into something they trusted enough to take an extended and fun trip in her, a🤩nd not only that, to be willing to see her, and take on the daunting task of transforming yet another vintage rusted old motor home. He and his buddy should be proud of all they have accomplished. 🤩
Thank you very much Alice
I love the inspiration behind the purchase and the refurbish. The original dashboard is awesome too.
Yes, makes you want to get one and head right out there
This is probably the coolest dude without knowing how cool he is, I have ever seen. Besides the conversion is beyond clever and well done. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Couldn't agree more!
Perfect size for two! Love old school
Great tour and video. This young man looks so responsible and informed!
Thank you very much
Wow. I really like how he explained and showed everything. He was very thorough. And what an amazing renovation! I would like to know if it got sold? Anyway, thank you for this video!👍
I HAVE ONE JUST LIKE THIS ONE , THE PEACE OF MIND YOU GET JUST SITTING IN IT FOR FEW HOURS A DAY RESTORES YOU MIND AND SOUL. UNLIKE YOUR HOUSE YOU CAN TAKE IT ANYWHERE INCLUDING WHERE YOU WORK . ANYBODY WHO IS PASSING BUY WILL LOOK AT IT FROM FRONT TO END. INSURANCE IS ONLY $ 200 A YEAR.
I love sitting in my RV and looking around and thinking about the ventures to come
That was great! I loved that this young man did such a detailed walk-through. He is so down-to-earth!
So practical and very well thought out. The restoration was great without being overdone. Stayed true to the period of the RV.
I love it!
😎✌️🤙🤘😎
Right on!
The only thing I would change is to repaint/epoxy the bathroom sink & shower to be white, instead of the yellowed plastic.
The storage is amazing.
He explained everything so well. Very interesting!
Awesome job redoing this classic...hope your adventure was great. Be proud you did it....the great memories will last a lifetime!
This was so fun to watch!! What a terrific renovation!! Loved the detailed explanation, great tour, his enthusiasm, passion and his contagious joy about this old rv!! Your follow up questions are good too. Thanks for such interesting content.
Thank you very much Cherie
great video and so educational too!.thank you.
Wow this is the best rv I've seen! Loved it. And he's easy on the eyes aswell 😌
Yes he is totally gorgeous
i love seeing young people with skills!!!
Wonderful job! Having owned an older RV, my fear for so many purchasing vintage vehicles is for the undetected mechanical and safety issues that could arise, especially when far away from services. We bought a beautiful 33 foot class A. it was very comfortable. I always felt it would be great to live in. However, it had been in an accident the previous owner failed to tell us about. The windshield and wipers were from some other brand of RV altogether and leaked. The electric stairs worked only when they wanted to. We went on a couple of trial overnight trips to discover the water heater and refrigerator also had issues. Our first real trip out both sets of brakes failed on our way into the mountains. We we lucky we were going up and not down. No matter what I did, the RV would not come to a complete stop. Lucky for us the terrain leveled out at one point and we coasted to a stop. It took a full day of being by the side of the road for a tow truck to come take us back home at a cost of $975, then more than a thousand to remove the engine so they could redo both sets of brakes. If we were going down hill, I wouldn't be alive to write this. I spend thousands repairing other things that should have been operational before I decided the thing was a death trap and sold it. Always get your vehicle checked by a reputable mechanic before buying unless you are very savvy and mechanical yourself.
Simply beautiful. He gave a great tour.
I think so too!
Ha! Lighting that pilot on the stove is soooooooo old school! To see your choice interest and need for adventure is a breath of fresh air. It's great to see people "doing them" in a wholesome way that resonates with *their spirit! Cheers to you
You got that right!
I watched this entire video, Duke kept me focused and is entertainingly thorough and the host allowed him to explain without cutting him off! kudos to the host
Thank you very much, that is fantastic.
Removing old RV carpet, ugh!! A million + 1 staples to remove! Looks great.
You got that right.
Very well done. Go Duke! Very genuine and great passion and skills. 👍👍
Couldn't agree more!
Awesome! RV . I wouldn’t mind owning a motorhome . This guy is so genuine.
I just picked up a 1978 class C it’s called the Apache-22 foot looks just like this one only a little older, but it’s got a 400 small block Chevy. The camper only has 10,000 original miles but it needs a lot of TLC and elbow grease and cleanup and my goal is to make it as beautiful as yours. Nice dude keep up the good work.
Awesome find
It's a great makeover. They made magic on this RV ! Bravo !!!
I think it sounds like he may be looking to sell it, someone is going to have a lovely home on wheels 😀
I thought the same thing 😜👌
He did say he is.
Its now on Facebook Marketplace for $18,500, Long Branch New Jersey.
It looked like the perfect RV!! They did a great job! How long is the RV?
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures I just checked FB Market place and could not find it. You think he sold it?
I enjoyed this build very nice he showed us everything. I like that not many do this ... Gorgeous home
Glad you enjoyed it
That was the most detailed interview, Love this guy 🙂, my old school RV is a 1985 Chevy Allergo class A ❤
Very cool!
Giangt fridge giant oven, good bathroom and still feels very spacious. Very nice build
Glad you enjoyed it
What a fabulous motor home, so well equipped and a lovely young man
Thank you very much
Another great find!
MommaFaye 🌺🤗😷
Ok, that was the best and detailed tour ever. And, Duke, hubba hubba!
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliantly done. You can tell he knows every inch of that place. Super impressive.
Double sinks! And a handsome guy who knows how to give a great tour. Yay!
This is gorgeous! I would love something like this
Go for it.
GREAT JOB!!! I wish I had the skills to renovate older motorhomes…what a fun business to start!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Love his RV, and he's such an enthusiastic fella, a real cute kid. Enjoy you travels!!
You did not leave a THINGGG OUT love it. Probably the best dam video I ever seen. Thank you thank you.
Glad you enjoyed the tour
I think this guy became his parents, fantastic rebuild of a classic RV
Thanks for checking in.
Nice Love the over can bed - very roomy and modern - great color combo
Our first RV was a 1989 29' Fleetwood trailer. We bought it, towed it to the tire place and had all new tires put on it. Lots of really good and a few oops! memories in that trailer! He and his buddy did an awesome job on this. I know first hand (Class C Four Winds) how much goes into an RV that had water damage. Lots of memories triggered by this post. Thanks to both of you for showing this.
That is awesome!
Great job - and I appreciate the proper full bathroom!
Love love love the older style ones👍🏼
Great old RV! Love seeing other people get into old RV's! Andy&L
So cool to see an old RV get some tender loving care and "keep on truckin!" You can tell you love this thing!
Wow beautiful home on wheels
We agree!
We have a 2000 for Thor and would love to restore to its glory. You did an awesome job! Wish you had some tutorials for the older restore. Be proud and confident in your accomplishments it's amazing
Great suggestion!
I've been building & restoring campers for years, as well as building homemade Campers (On my Channel), but I really enjoy my Van which I just finished. Great RV, love the class C motorhomes.
That is awesome!
Noyce! Your pride in your work is well deserved.
What an awesome job, very impressed.
Loved this video. We bought a vintage 1987 last night and your video is amazing I’m more in love with mine now I can’t wait to get back in and check it out like this.
Happy you found this
When you live in a much too big house & loves the dream! Totally outstanding. Thank you for sharing❤🏴
So true!
Brilliant!
Great detailing job and explanation. Looks great, very spacious and storage. Good job, good travels.
Thank you very much!
Great video Patrick! Nice motorhome!
Thank you 🙏🏼

Hi from Tennessee 3-27-21 Springtime is about here. Great interview and filming ! Looks like those guys did a real good rebuild on that RV :)
Thanks for watching buddy.
Omg I love the pic of the dog pooping behind the toilet hilarious
Classic.
I LOVE YOUR RV HOME ON WHEELS!!! You’ve done an amazing job with it!!!! Tfs💕💕💕
Absolutely beautiful, you guys did such a super great job. Sounds like a smart business choice renovating motorhomes. I love the old school ones🌟❤
Your showing was super. I also appreciate your letting us know the challenges you've had, especially the water damage.
Great job on the renovation and on the tour. I would have liked to see an interior before shot.
This is best bathroom I’ve seen!
It’s really nice
Nice Interior Modernization 👏👏👏
We agree!
Just outstanding, a huge congratulations
Thank you very much!
Really nice R/V, love the Chevy’s, 350 engine parts are a dime a dozen, GREAT restoration job, very handy work, thanks Patrick
You bet
I’m impressed.
I was too
In the next video, he transforms a boat into a water flotation device! Amazing!
Hope to have him on again
Yes ! Those old motorhomes are nice. I like the small ones- I've got an '84 Nissan 20-footer. The little 4-cylinder takes a while to get it up to highway speed, but the mileage [16-18] makes it so affordable to travel. I do wish I had the headroom the Chevy Fleetwood has and that big shower area is amazing. I have left the old wood doors and paneling unpainted- it just feels right.
Oh wow, that’s an awesome rig
Agree, sound like it's up for sale
It's very nice. I like the camper rather than a tow trailer.
GREAT, ENJOY THE BLESSINGS, TRAVEL IN MANY SAFE BLESSINGS AS WELL ...
Thank you 😊
I LOVE THIS! Jaw dropping! Great job!
Good job Duke!
Thank you very much.
COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE NUMBER ONE .
Yeah
Really love the layout of this camper

Thank you very much
Loved the lay out and everything in it wouldnt mined having one like this
You speak really well about the r.v. looks great.👍
Great walk thru and sales job. Your'e hired.
Just a FYI with those old units. I had one burn up one summer day off grid with the generator running the roof air conditioner. That old wood box gets really dried out and fragile. The area around the exhaust pipe got just hot enough to eventually catch itself on fire after about 1/2 hour. By the time you notice it it is already in the wall and 5 minutes later the whole vehicle is melted and burned back to front. The flame & heat gets inside and cabin wall/ floor temperature suddenly gets to 1,000 degrees as it burns forward. Some good high temp automotive exhaust insulation around those pipes probably would have prevented it.
