Thanks for doing a video like this and documenting it.its very nice that you can give life to an old camper and someone could benefit without paying as much as a house for a new one.love from UK.
After asking the local rv place to estimate repairs on a free rv I had, I decided to do all work myself. New roof framing, insulation, tpo, ceiling, lights, roof vents, a/c, outlets, water heater, toilet, flooring, new seals on five windows, repaired and cleaned everything else. $8,400.00 in materials and one entire month of my life for a workable RV that looks decent for being 30 years old. Wouldn't do it again though.
Great job! Ive had my 31 year old camper for x8 years now There is always something to maintain or upgrade! But she always gets me where I want to go! ❤
Guys, I have nearly the same Fiat camper. The roof above the bed has let in water and the wood in the roof is dust. This is great information. I love our camper and look forwards to renovating it!
Great video. I really like the way you explained things and we got to see everything you did. Wish I would have seen you in action before I bought my old motorhome in 2007. Thank you and I hope to see more of you. From US
Loved the work you both did!! So many things you used to repair gave me great ideas for my own rig. Keep the videos coming, I love the work you both do. This is Alan, Greetings from Riverside in Southern California.
I agree with you about the materials. They are not poor quality to weigh less. They don't care how much we spend on gas. No, they buy cheap supplies to make more money. Stealing from customers became okay in the 1990's.
Very informative video, nice job! For the other viewers, I strongly recommend using some sort of mask before busting open damp walls. I got all kinds of lightheadedness and temporary breathing problems when working on mine without proper protective equipment :D
Good job guys, good information. Fifteen days - would probably take me at least four months working on it part time. Setting a finishing date is a good idea for keeping focused.
You guys are fun. Thank you for the good work and the great attitudes. I just bought a 1984 C30 Minnie Winnebago that is in great shape with only 75,000 miles. Unfortunately, it has been sitting in a barn for 20 years and still has carpet everywhere with mouse poop in it. Looking forward to doing this type of update to it.
The spotlights are so bad in a Camper That's very low,,! 🤔 People are gonna hit there Heads in those spotlights guaranteed,,,!!🙄🤯😖 But Otherwise you guys are making a beautiful and great job,,, right,,on guys👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 💖💎💖💎💖👌💖👌💖
Tip on old plastic. Plastics yellow with age because of the UV light that causes the polymers in the plastic to rise to the surface this results in the yellow haze however this chemical reaction can be restored by using a high contact of hydrogen peroxide I like using "salon 40" yes a hair treatment product that has a very high % of hydrogen peroxide and has a creamy consistency. spread it over the plastic then wrap it with saran wrap and place it in the sun or a UV light for 24 to 48 hours. This will restore the original white appearance.
Hi guys great job I am an Australian living in Italy now and would live to have a vintage motorhome renovated with the modern stuff would you be interested in taking in such a project cheers 👍
👍 There is too much work that you have done, but it ended very nicely and clean. What kind of paint and silicone did you use for the roof? I have a big project and I think that starting for the roof is better than other things!
In 15gg? Wow!!! Grazie 🤗
Hi great video! me and my girlfriend are in the exactly same position with an old talbot 1993 what uv resistant sealant did you use? also what rubber based paint did you use please thank you
I know less than zero about motorhomes, but something tells me that alongside the engine, the roof is equally important to keep well maintained? it takes the brunt of harsh weather, just seems logical. But this roof looked like not maintained at all, strange.
Pretty good bros! I was lucky to meet you, have safe travels and say hi to the new parents!!!

Дякую Саша!
I've just installed solar panels on my van. What do you suggest for hiding and protecting cables leading into the inside?
I would say to take a thicker cable or simply put inside the small plastic pipe.
The all project was in total 8000 ero?
Including the price of the van?
It's very good price
What brand of RV is that?
I know less than zero about motorhomes, but something tells me that alongside the engine, the roof is equally important to keep well maintained? it takes the brunt of harsh weather, just seems logical. But this roof looked like not maintained at all, strange.
So silly with your cool multipurpose belt 😂
any insulation
😍🤩😍

There is a 1991 van for $3500 I’m considering, but I have never worked on anything. I don’t know if it’s a good investment or not.
руками классно работаете, так держать.
So I didn't understand how much the job was... 800 in materials and the manwork?
Con quelle targhe rischiano grosso, va bene ritoccare (ad arte) i caratteri neri, ma mai toccare il fondo bianco riflettente, anche se ne rimane poco.
Non lo sapevamo! Per il prossimo facciamo cosi.
where can I buy the honey tho?
no seriously I love your stuff

Can you fix my camper to? :)
