Saab(or whats left of it) still makes OEM parts. Im from sweden and we have alot of 9-3 and 9-5 cop cars out there so parts where needed. We also have svenskasaabklubben(SSK) that have a very close cooperation with the old saab factories so you can get original parts still but its getting harder. Latest i heard they are selling of all the assembly line machines. Some old workers came by for a last goodbye.
In the UK, it's usually the junkyard/scrapyard or people you know. Neo Brothers is good for big new parts (e.g. alternators) though. Otherwise, UKSaab forum folk keep Saab's alive here. 2006 Saab 93 Aero owner N.Ireland
Hey there. Great info here. SAABWRECK in Melbourne Australia is the only Saab specialist that I know that rebuilds/refurbish the 9-3 T8 ECU 2003-2011. They also can program it for you if you mail it to them. Join a Saab club! Car clubs have the ability to collect rare parts from members and have them repaired cheaper because they can negotiate a better price on quantity. ANY car parts can be either repaired or remanufactured. I myself had a engine bay sticker decal kit made up for a rare car once. Easy to do and what a difference in making an old engine bay look new. I am currently thinking on getting a 9-3 Carbon Fibre bonnet made with air vents. It's expensive for one car but I think alot of people would want one. So I think I will sell a few to get my money back. This is also the kind of thing car clubs can do as well. Cheers from Downunder.
Where to buy parts living in New Zealand, while a little while ago there was this Saab Wreckers in Sydney I believe they are no longer trading as no reply has come from them, Parts needed are mainly for my Saab 900 ng, Saab 9000 CD and Saab 9.3 from 2007, any advise please let me know.
There are 2 big saab places in Melbourne. 1. Allsaabparts 2. Saabwreck If they don't have your parts. You're pretty out of luck, get them from Europe or wait
The clutch on my classic Saab 900 has about an inch of play before it starts to actually engage the clutch mechanism, apparently due to wear over time. There's simply no resistance in this first inch Has anyone ever fixed that or know how ?
Has anyone in Sweden used Speedparts lately? I’m an American trying to buy 20,000 sek worth of parts and I only have USD currently working out ways to transact and get the parts! They have great stuff…
Yes it is - and these parts sources (or at least some of them) should have parts. Have you tried any of these sources? I have seen 9-2X parts on lots of them. Otherwise, use Subaru sites
I'm English we don't have problems over here in Europe I certainly don't have with my Cadillac BLS 2.0T. My car been the rarer of Saab 93s not much is not 93.
Our 2004 9-3 aero has been with for the past 14 years and it has been very reliable. Nowt the age of 21 it needs some parts, but it also has 280k km on the clock, so... still running strong, just needs some love.
eEuroparts was fantastic when I ordered parts for my now deceased '93 9000. Parts arrived incredibly quickly, overnight usually.
😮🙌🏼
For me it's schwedenteile. Volvo inklusive.
Greetings from Germany.

Always good to have a refresh of these reminders. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Goldwing rover/saab. In hastings, NY. Possibly the largest saab recycler in North America. I just spent 6 hours roaming their yard last week

Cool! Sounds like a fun project
carwreck and swedish prestige for melbourne/victoria/australia, also do most of these out of australia part suppliers offer shipping to aus?
You’d have to look at their sites; I’m only familiar with the US market and don’t know about international shipping

Great advice, thanks all. Another suggestion would be posting on Facebook in a New Zealand Saab page
I remember how fast maptun sent me my ecu relocation kit
They’re awesome with shipping!

Your best bet would be posting in the C900 Facebook group. It’s an excellent resource.
Has anyone in Sweden used Speedparts lately? I’m an American trying to buy 20,000 sek worth of parts and I only have USD currently working out ways to transact and get the parts! They have great stuff…
I have not ever used them personally, sorry
I got some good stuff from them on Black Friday here. Took a while to ship because of the holiday, but they arrived in a timely manner
The question is where is an online parts directory so that parts are easily found within the Saab Community.
Is that not essentially what this video is? 😬😅
@AutoAutopsy I see that's what you were setting up. My question was there one already established.
i need parts for my 9-2x Aero!!! PLEASE LMK

Where Can You Buy Parts? Sweden and Finland. Perks of living in Finland close to Swedish border.
That’s a big plus!
I had a saab for about a month you're going to need a lot of parts

It really depends on age, condition, previous service history, area of country it’s from, etc. Any 20 year old car will need work!
