i think the same. Anneke is my favourite voice too, since i were young. Silje is the right voice for the Gathering. unreal. Right woman, right place. and I would think that is not simple her role in the band. awesome. And... for last I have to say that Silje has one of the best voices that I ever heard...
The Gathering did a much better job of replacing a legend like Anneke then what Nightwish did with their replacing of Tarja. Granted Nightwish currently has Floor Jansen but Annette just really didn't match with Nightwish's symphonic metal. Toumas still wrote awesome music in their studio recordings in those 2 records with Annette but her voice just wasn't it and her live performances weren't that good.
She did so well on this live version, it's like she prepared for it for an eternity! I love the gathering so much! The entire band!!!! Every single one of them. If you can stop staring at the beautiful women for 2 seconds and appreciate the rest of the band I'm pretty sure they'd be thankful

The singer and the atmosphere are amazing... I can't believe what I see dated in 2016. So classy. I've never heard about her. Glad I had. I also watched an official video and had enjoyed it too. A band like a diamond. Such a shame that this have no more views. This band is really really good. They have done this over a long time but still very unknown to many of us. I have suprised some friends of mine with this beautiful music.

very well played, smells so much gathering. yet Silje does not seem to like she lives the song. her voice just sounds so simple for this. she is very talented singer but this band, especially this song, deserves a better singer. singers like Anneke or Lee Douglas. For Silje I actually recommend singing some trance songs maybe with Armin.
