For me it was You Learn About It and then Amity and THEN I heard this song, Saturnine, and it changed my view on music almost completely. Something soft and sweet, like her voice, and something yet so emotional as the rock and metal backing.

No one can match Anneke.. She is The Gathering.
That's a bit disrespectful for rest of the band members. She has unique voice and strong presence but none of her songs has reached any where near what she's done with The Gathering.
@@oriyus Anneke has grown with her presence, as in the beginning she was not like she is now on stage. Her singing was always great (even there she became better) but she hardly talked at all in between songs. I am glad she found her way.

@Michael Nahtblis It's just that her voice is that distinct, but I could actually make out Silje Wergeland (and who I think as also very talented in her own way), the singer who took over after Anneke wanted to move on to the next stage as a soloist. She did promise the brothers that someday she would be in touch for a anniversary tour, but she wanted to go out and do her own thing, and the band moved on without her.

all 4 of them are excellent.
Silja has probably the best voice out of them, but it's so different than either Anneke or Marika that its not really right to compare them. Two different eras of the band, both astounding, and both combined wonderfully in this track.
Marika is lower, s little rougher, sounds more soulful. Her voice is a different emotion in the song.
Anneke is like the happy medium. More melodic than Marika, but at the same time smokier and more soulful than Silja. Also she always just seems like she's having the time of her life singing, she makes you happy that she's happy.
And Bart. Holy crap, where has this guy's voice been? Reminds me of Wolfsheim, such a perfect intro and then incredible harmonies with the girls.

Yes, there's a live album of this concert (it was released on 2CD and 3LP editions)
The audio on all this videos is taken from the live album with the only exception of the countdown intro on this song which is from one of the cameras from the audience.
Unfortunately the physical releases of "TG25:Live at Doornroosje" are a little bit hard to find today, not even on their webshop anymore. But you can listen/buy it on their bandcamp or see the full video on RUclips. (Links on description) But... If you want the physical release check out "discogs" and that kind of webs. Sometimes a normal priced copy appears.

@@marcovtjev you're lucky!! Last time I checked Discogs the only 2CD available was around 50€!! Not sure about other websites or local record stores!! I'm sure other fans will thank you if you share a comment telling were you found your copy!! :)

En la sala de conciertos "Doornroosje" de la ciudad de Nijmegen en Países Bajos. El concierto conmemora el 25 aniversario de la banda y había muchos fans de países hispanohablantes como puedes comprobar!!
