I tried to do this, but the way it shows up for me is there's two colors for each thing with an arrow between, and I can't seem to select the first color, so I've got mine sent to "White > Pink" (not even sure what that means) but I can't take the white out.
1. Don't use Normal bullets - you are just wasting your time
2. Going to a base resets your health, ammo & Gadgets & supremo to 100% - certain abilities refresh the gauge quicker with headshots- I'd recommend something like the M16 for that. then you can use the supreme much more often
3. If you want to capture a tank an EMP is ideal then you can hijack it
4. If you find you don't have enough of something then clearing the shop of gear means that gear won't drop in chests and you are more likely to get Petrol instead.
5. Money can be gained more quickly if using the companion Chamange. then you can waste it on buying the gear so you get more useful things instead... as the bandit missions use a lot of fuel
6. Get the leaders as soon as you can run the bandit missions often and get high grade circuits, Moneda and other goodies as rewards
7. equipping run upgrades makes special operations much easier.
8. The special operations contain one time rewards like a 1 time 400 moneda cash drop or a unique gun
9. You can attach sticky bombs to you pets then send them to your enemies
10. The Black panther can make enemies vanish on death - a good aid to stealth
11. If you are feeling murderous there is certain builds that makes it very easy to run around quickly and stab everyone (even from the front with a special face mask).
12. Supremo rockets work pretty well on helicopters - but so do sticky cluster rounds in a grenade launcher, EMPs, and blast ammo in an LMG - as does that NASA themed guided missile launcher you can get early in the game
13. equipping your side arm with poison bullets and the auto reload ability is a good play style the poison bullets one shot most animals (very handy against enemy dogs) and the auto reload saves time if you are carrying a slot to reload weapon like an LMG, shotgun or Sniper rifle
14. There is a couple of shotguns that works pretty well at medium to shot range - even one with a suppressor.
15. Don't forget the healing syringe & supremo area of effect healing grenade exists.
16. Some of the food items give interesting abilities - like super speed of 50% more ammo etc.. and they are currently stackable - even though they are not supposed to be they last 6 hours of in-game time
17. The buggy is good for low flying - as are helicopters - if you fly low you can approach anti-aircraft zones without getting shot down - you can also blow them up with a tank by just driving one there I guess.
18. If you fall and don't use your wing suit you don't get targeted by anti-aircraft zones, you can often wingsuit in without triggering them too - but not always. if you use one of the supremos that spits fire you can fall out of a plain and hit the button just before you land - and lad safely even without a parachute or wing suit to help. you can also use it to instantly stop and drop when wing suiting so low the parachute wouldn't save you. so you could for example jump off a cliff head right at a base in wingsuit - and then just as you are about to crash activate the supremo and both land safely and attack - the same one also burns things standing behind you too as you run away.
19. You can heal quicker while sliding - with things like the dislocated wrist animation - just slide and you can get away faster without having the movement speed lowered.
20 The Buggy is in one of the aircraft hangers too. - also don't forget you can steal planes too - and they have bombs !
21. EMPS will insta-kill everyone standing on a small boat.

@@socratrash I'll have to double check but there is a few things that allow you to remain undetected longer even when you are almost in front of someone along with a speed boost this allows you to stab people in the front with the Machete.
It's partially linked to a specific face mask piece of clothing - but I'd have to look up the name... Perhaps someone has that info to hand ?

This game is pretty overwhelming to be honest. But that's a good thing, since it takes hours and hours to develop skills and get better by exploring the perimeter. It takes effort. It's a challenge!
That’s what I feel about it as well. But I’m loving it for that same reason. Like it’s a lot but it’s not like Fall Out where for me it gets boring. With FC6 I personally enjoy the setting and all the other stuff they added
but it's too childish and too much stuff isn't possible like there is some stuff that looks like magic... which at some point starts to kill the immersion

Emp the tank, jump on top by the entry hatch, click in the right stick/ takedown button, highjacks the tank. Way easier than fighting it. Also LMG with blast rounds is meta to take out choppers 🚁 🔥
Seriously, the grenate launcher with emp rounds is so good early on. I thought I was stuck with the Rocket backpack until I get an RPG but emp grenate launcher is the way to go imo. Takes out helicopters with one hit and tanks can be hijacked after one shot.

I love this game so much that I finished it on ps4 and started from scratch after getting a ps5!
As soon as you can and you have the wing suit do the treasure hunt “a little birdie told me” you can get the AR-C assault rifle early on in the game which is the second best assault rifle (IMO). Mode that bitch out with an acog, compensator, level 4 canted rail and laser, and amour piercing rounds and you have a gun that easily mows down people with very little recoil. Also soft target rounds are pointless. Just put armor piercing on everything and go for headshots. Have one primary with blast rounds for vehicles

Get EMP arrows. You get more arrows then grenades. You can switch between ammo without a bench also.
Very useful I must say my play style from pervious far cry games never changes but it’s also good to know something
You can change your ammo type from the weapon wheel actually, works on PC at least, but id imagine it works on consoles too
EDIT: I tried the smoke grenade and it did not work so I removed that.
For anyone who needs to know you don't have to get an empty tank to use one and there are a few ways to do so.
1.Get a tank you find and bring it to a vehicle spawn spot. Any spot should do
2.Complete: Stealing thunder and then it's sequel mission Heavy Metal from Zenia in the Madrugada region (It will have a special skin on it.)
3.If you manage to get in the tank on the starter Tutorial island during the, "Fueling the Revolution" mission you can bring it to an outpost (FND Base) but you'll have to drive it there and I believe it's on the east side of the island (aka right side of the island.) You can also do this after doing this mission (stealth is strongly advised)
4. You can use an EMP grenade (sticky or normal either one works) then you will have to jump on the tank and perform a hijack takedown. I am not 100% sure if the EMP Volta (idk) Supremo backpack works but if you have that one then you also have an EMP grenade.

Tip: incendiary rounds suck ass, soldiers will shoot you and still throw grenades or whatever at you while on fire, and you will need to set the mon fire multiple times before killing them

You are the first (out of maybe 15) tips videos that covered the self driving. Good job.
You can hijack a tank if you stun it with an EMP weapon. You can also down a helicopter this way and if it is not too high it will just land so you can highjack them too. EMP on an explosive like a grenade launcher is the most effective. Against boats it electrifies the water too and when you hit the boat the crew bails out and dies. So if you ever have 2 grenade launchers give one EMP rounds.
I would not bother with anything but AP rounds for guns to start with, especially if you put a silencer on them.
Sliding is considered part of sneak too and you can use this to move faster when reloading and healing. You can also slide past people and backstab them or slide into people and knock them down.
When you purchase the base part to get the glide suit you can pay cash to unlock additional small bases. Some of these have better vehicles with them if you upgrade it enough. That if how I got the parasail car. It is nice, but I like the mini helicopter more. It is easier to take off and land and flies through trees and such MUCH easier. You can skip some challenges by flying past obstacles too and it speeds up crypto chests. Both these vehicles get destroyed easy though so be careful and land them away from combat. Also the parasail car is summoned from the same spot cars and tanks are and the mini helicopter is summoned from not only helicopter spawn locations but also boat locations as it floats.
Melee attacks are powerful. If you do them over a fence or hedge you will drag them over. You can also do them from heights that would likely kill you. You can also hit a second person if they are close by hitting the arrow in their direction after the first hit.
Stealth is the easiest way to take out a base. If they get alerted they will usually run to an alarm and this summons WAY more enemies... and sometimes helicopters and tanks. Look for the alarms and shoot or disable them first. Sometimes there are more than one alarm. There is also a control panel in bases that disable all the alarms and cameras. If they see a control panel that you shot or a body they will become alerted too. They can see bodies from farther away than they can see you sneaking so be careful. Hide the bodies well because the guards tend to wander around a bit. After you take out all the alarms though you can let them see the body. It will draw all the guards to the body so you can shoot them one at a time.
Clothing is important and do not be afraid to swap them out. I like running with the Scavenger set you find first as it helps you find more loot and repairs vehicles while you are in them. This is mighty when combined with a tank. Parkour will make you run faster and farther. Some will help you sneak better or shoot better. Some help protect you from types of damage or carry more ammo of a certain type. It does not take long to learn them and swap them out.
Also understand that the ammo types are for the category, so pistols use pistol ammo, shotguns use shotgun ammo, rifles use rifle ammo, sniper rifles use sniper rifle ammo. So if you run out of ammo for one type of weapon simply swap out to another type of weapon. Do not have 3 riffles for your 3 main weapon slots. Also understand that missile launchers and grenade launchers use the same ammo as they are in the same category.
You need to drive captured vehicles back to one of you bases to a spawn location that matches it if you want to be able to summon one later. The auto drive makes this handy. There are a few vehicles like the parasail and mini helicopter as well as a jet ski that has guns that can still be captured with the camera. Also understand the keys used to fire the weapons are different for almost every vehicle. It is usually the left mouse button for something that does not let you shoot your pistol from inside. Other buttons are the x, shift, or even right mouse button. Some have 2 different attacks, like the tank or helicopters.
You get experience for destroying military vehicles and billboards as well as taking checkpoints, bases, and missions.
READ EVERYTHING and talk to EVERYBODY that has an exclamation point. These tell you the locations of caches, bases, checkpoints, treasure hunts... and free hostages you might see along the side of the road as they do similar.
There is a mission board for sending out "leaders" to do missions without you. DO THEM. They use people, but you get them for freeing hostages, taking checkpoints and bases, and for graffitiing posters. These get you a lot of money and hard to get resources... and sometimes collectables. There will be some side missions that gain you more leaders. Do them.
Do the treasure hunts and crypto chests. The crypto chests will point you in the direction you need to look and typically mark the course with blue. Sometimes it can be far away like another building or a small island. The treasure hunts are more parkour based or puzzle based. Read every note you see as they give you hints. Many require switches or buttons used in a certain order. Sometimes you need to shoot locks on doors through a window. Sometimes you need to smash a crate or weak wall to find something hidden. The rare stuff is usually found doing these.
Fly low to avoid AA. The mini helicopter is the easiest to do this. The AA gun is destroyed easily with a grenade or missile or some sort. Remember to grab the depleted uranium from ALL AA sites. You use it to buy special weapons and Supremo back packs from Juan.

@@yuvrajmistry8598 Odd. I decided to do a second playthrough less than a week ago an I had forgotten a lot... especially the melee stuff. I did miss a few things...
You get experience from grabbing the egg shaped things from the shrines. They are easy to locate because they make a kind of buzzing noise (and the show up on the mini map/radar). The mini map also show exclamation marks, letters, caches etc.., but while it do not show loot, it does show the ammo refills and also roosters.
Mines and I think grenade traps make a beeping noise and they also show up when you scan with the camera (you should ALWAYS scan an area before you attack). Grenades have a trip line and are easy to disarm, but mines are best shot... from a distance.
If you are trying to collect all the vehicles many are restricted to certain areas. A few you can only get from missions. The guns come in caches and gun cases, but there are a few that are found or rewarded during missions. If you hover over the object it will actually tell you the mission. You can not add a vehicle to your collection with the camera if someone is in it. You can press E when next to a vehicle to get civilians to get out.
Also I did not mention to take a stunned tank just climb on it and look at the hatch. Press F (for a melee attack) and you will pull the driver out and kill them. Be quick as they only stay stunned for about 5 seconds. Sometimes a stunned helicopter will not even land or sometimes they will but take back off later.
Always leave the music playing in the vehicle The character will sing along with some of the songs and it is just great. You actually find new music during some missions (I think). They are in little thumb dives? Have not really looked much into this one.
Also use the supremo to add xtra mod for more ammo that you use the most for what weapon type .

Plus, If you run out of ammo for a great weapon. You can always choose a lessor weapon from your inventory and it will appear on your weapon wheel fully loaded !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grab the gear that let's your repair vehicles while in them and steal one of the white tanks. Use them for checkpoints and taking over vases. I've never left the tank lol

I have only one question are raids a thing in this game just this day a few minutes ago I captured a base and as I was looting it the army attacked the base is that how it works
My guess is taking out the alarm first would be best? I guess if you are going sleuth it’s possible that way, or maybe snipe the alarm box from far?
Some alarm boxes are armored but most can be sniped yes.

@@tnyeh Don't know if you think I'm complaining here, but I just wanted to clarify that some alarm boxes can't be shot even with ap bullets. I even like the fact that you have to manually disable some of them.

I kept trying to figure out how to be quiet with a gun turns out you need to use a bow 😅
He's a few, on the package drops, holster your weapon and use stealth sneaking up to the package. Most of the time the enemy will not shoot at you right away and you can easily get outta there. At the check points, shoot out the alarm then blow up the billboard. Run away and a few seconds later, the rebels will do the work for you. Same with the air defense, blow up the rocket launcher, leave and come back to clean the place out. This game is OK, but it's too easy and repetitive.

I have no idea how the chests work that require you to collect the two drawings to unlock them. Can someone explain them to me? I know wind chimes are involved but I never have any idea where to start looking.

I just started playing the game and I went from the small island where it begins to finding myself on the second island with Main Island missions. The first island is still half blacked out, meaning I didn't do half the missions I'm guessing. I don't seem to be able to go back and fast travel. Is this how it's supposed to be?
Nevermind. I got it. It was a glitch I think. Not sure if you can answer this, but how do you turn the backpack into a rocket launcher? I've seen a couple videos but no explanation.

I loved it. Its a big game. So you get enough for your money.
Not having played it before may mean you get more out of it. But you could always buy FarCry 3 or 4 in a sale see if you like the general game play (I'd not recommend FC5 & New Dawn for your 1st game though)
Most people think Far Cry 3's side story stand alone short game "Far Cry Blood Dragon" is the best version and the gold edition of FC 6 does come with that. But Far Cry 3 HD does come with FC 5 gold too.
You could try Far Cry Classic I guess but it's getting a bit old - and it's less open and the graphics are not quite as good. Plays similarly enough though. just a bit less bombasticlly and a bit more realistically.
You of course have to like FPS in general though and be prepared to engage with the games systems.
If you're not sure yet: it's not necessarily the best Far Cry, but I'd say one of the best. It's certainly the best since Far Cry 4

I scanned a car in the game and the first car you get in the game disappeared, now i cant even call it

Chill for a bit, constantly killing enemies alert Castillo's elite forces. Don't kill anyone for like a minute or so and you will be good. The meter for it is om right side of your minima
I dont think tip number 4 is really a tip, pressing triangle switches your most recent weapon, thats been in far cry sin far cry 3 and other games
I don't know - you'd be surprised what some people miss - like the ability to change the guns from single shot to burst fire in the weapon wheel. or in Farcry 5 the ability to directly craft consumable from the weapon wheel, or that Vans have a shop inside them. Or in FC6 you can leave your horse at one of those encampment things and it will be there when you come back - otherwise they have a habit of disappearing on you.
I don't think it hurts to mention what someone else might see and obvious - a good example is the auto-weapon reload in your vehicle's trunk. - some people drive their cars right up the base entrance and keep coming back to it for example.
But yeah I am not going to tell anyone off because they mention you can cover your croc in proximity mines and say "sick em" !
Kinda want far cry to go the assassins creed "eagle uav" route and but a drone in for scouting

Yo9u can lower the difficulty in the menu even in the middle of a game. I recommend going to a guerilla camp and changing the setting. It makes it alot more fun for people who are trying to explore the island

For some reason I have no red dot on any of my sites, no cross hairs no anything, I’ve messed with the settings so that’s not it. Is this a bug or are all the sites just looking through glass??

@@waterforgizmo3232 well there's different sights, maybe the one that you use didn't have the dots. But with the crosshairs i think you messed the HUD settings somehow

Here's a tip turn off the enemy outlines, the ammo counter, the crosshair and the detection meters. The game is so much better when you don't know where the enemies are and you have to use your brain. You'll need the objective markers though as the game doesn't give you enough info to find places without them.
The last thing I want to do in my only hour of relaxation a day is using my brain, 8-12 hours at work is more than enough.
@@AurioDK It's a pretty game though and it looks so much nicer without the hud cluttering it all up. The added challenge spices things up a bit too. But hey, each to their own.

This game is not like Far Cry 5. Confused and frustrated as all Hell. The Game explains nothing.
unfortunately far cry 6 is too childish and too much stuff isn't possible like there is some stuff that looks like magic... which at some point starts to kill the immersion

I play on pc w/ a 3070ti, it looks way better than this video looks. I highly recommend putting down the child’s play box, or X station, cuz they both are essentially, low quality components, with down clocked graphics cards, and the game code is specially designed for those very cheap and not so great console machines just so you can play a very low res, low texture version with far less detail game than the same game would look on pc. If you feel that your a real gamer, but never play on pc, then your not a real gamer. Your a child still who is alright with only playing games that your console allows you to play. Time to grow up. You can do this guys and gals. It’s not an elitist thing I’m saying, it’s fucking real and pc people don’t understand why or how gamers are still falling for the console wars that should have never existed..
