I been playing this game for over 2 months and I aim to complete the entire game and explore it thoroughly. It is a great game loads of customisation and upgrades. Enjoying it so far. 2 months later my comment came true.
TIP: Go into the color settings and change the ''pickups'' color to the bright pink/purple color. You'll never miss a pickup again, and you can see them from a mile away.
Just found an *Assassin's Creed* Easter Egg. If you head to the *Prologue Island* (Starter Island) and go to *Cayo Seguro Peninsula* right next to the *Horse Pickup* Station, there's a *Tower* climb it and once you go to the board at the edge of it, it plays an *Eagle Noise* (There's also a haystack at the bottom).
The Libertad chest progressively give you clothing only and of specific sets. So if you open 5 boxes, you will likely get the 5 items for the next set in the progression. Some sets are for building base assets to level 3, one is for killing all the mythical beasts and trading them in, and some are for completing missions. The big thing to know is there are FAR more cases than there are items you can get from either this case or the FND. Eventually you will just get the gun powder or Supremo-Bond. Eventually you will find you have done all the supply caches, raids, checkpoints and bases and those guys with the clipboards will stop telling you anything. There are a few things starting players need to know. Any upgrade you give purchase for a each type of gun will work for all rifles so do not be too shy about spending resource early on. So if you purchase a silencer for one rifle you can now put that same silencer on all your rifle. Understand that ammo is by these categories too, so all pistols use pistol ammo... Pressing the shift key when driving, on a roadway, and wit a destination marked will activate an autopilot. You only do about half speed and sometimes you hit things, but in general it usually works. You can either accelerate where there are not too many turns or just leave it and go get some food or hit the head. Change your Supremo backpack, weapons, and clothing sets as needed and as often as you want. I usually leave my number 3 as the floating slot that I change between either the Libertad weapon or a grenade launcher. I like the Scavenger set as it helps you find loot and repairs vehicles while you are driving. After I scan an area I can put on the Sniper set as it gets rid of weapon sway and refunds the bullet on a headshot. Parkour makes you run crazy fast and if you are going into an area with a lot of gas you can put on the hazmat suit. 95% of the time I wear the Scavenger set. Understand that the unique guns are typically not worth it. They might have a mod you can not make, but as it goes on you will likely just stick with standard guns. My end game was the Exterminator and Scavenger set... the first of each you get in the game. My guns are the MS16L Rifle, the MGL-G Grenade Launcher, and the SVD Sniper Rifle. The only unique gun I use regularly is the Autocrat pistol, which I happened to find very early. I tend o stay away from fully auto weapons as they do far less damage per bullet and chew through ammo fast. The MS16L with a compensator, 4* scope and pointer, and AP rounds with improved body damage and improved magazine size is a beast. It fires as fast as you pull the trigger and is very accurate and does a lot of damage. Early game the Libertad shotgun pistol and shield was pretty nice for close in, especially if you upgrade the melee damage and protection.
Turn off weapon sway in the accessibility options. Bit of a cheat yes, but this eliminates the need to hold L3 to hold breath, and no need to equip stamina gear in order to hold a sniper scope steady for longer.
Not sure why so many people are trashing Far Cry 6.It is more of everything and adds some great new playability and options not found in older versions. Thanks for this video, it helps since there is a lot to learn.

I'm in the same boat.. I'm having a decent time with it intermittently.. there are times I'm absolutely immersed and times I just want to turn it off.. Far Cry 5 was the first Far Cry I'd played and I really liked the story and game play.. so far, the "Amigos" are a huge disappointment and not even close to as fun as the human npc partners.. the sniper and pilot were so fun to use.. I'm only about 10 hours in and I'm having fun, but not as much as I did in the 5th entry..
@@DETRACT0RD00M get the Amigo named OLUSO he is like a much stronger peaches. he does stealth kills and when he is upgraded if someone sees him kill someone they scream and run away and he heals him self, its the best one in the game that and when you finish the quest you get a gun that shoots threw walls
This game is 5x better than FC5 and New Dawn, that’s coming from someone who played FC5 like 6 times through. FC6 has soooo much more to offer and new mechanics to play with. Not to mention a better story thanks to the return of the voiced protagonist.
I have found that the black panther, at least I think, is a panther that you obtain after collecting all three "Dolls" and return them to the cave on the first island and receive your reward is the best out of all the companions you can find in the game.
I picked this game up a little over a week ago and I've been exploring it for hours and hours of gameplay. I found out a lot of this stuff just by playing...but definitely not all of it. Im not that good at video games, but i am enjoying this one. I did notice that i can defeat scenarios above my rank...i guess that's normal if i can do it. It doesn't seem very difficult, though. I don't really understand the progression of the game...i I'm just having fun doing all kinds of random shit. I gotta say that playing cod gave me some valuable skills needed in this game...as weird as that may sound.
Great game as always, and you can turn off many things, say how much health the enemy has, it breaks the game, and you can turn it off, all praise to the game makers, the game offers so many different things, you can't get bored.The game is beautiful.

In a sense, it’s actually a smart idea to hide talents behind gear as it stops people like me who’s looking for game breaking talents, that way it’s more difficult to steam roll the games. I love crit multipliers that works together and can stack with other crit multipliers. Say you get 3x crit multipliers at most, with another talent you might get 10x crit multipliers like cyberpunk 2077 for instance, and you can steamroll the game
I recommend when you get to the first camp to purchase the Hideout Networks and upgrade them to level 3. This lets many area have the mini helicopter, which is the best vehicle in the game. Then you scan the helicopter and you can spawn it at any helicopter OR boat spawn location. This lets you bypass a lot of parkour and quickly clear all the loot crates in an area. Second is ALWAYS take out the alarm first or the number of enemies will greatly increase. Make sure you take EMP grenades or EMP rounds for a grenade launcher or the Volta backpack so you can disable tanks and helicopters. Sometimes the helicopters will land and you can kill the crew and take it or with a tank you jump on top and press F to kill the driver and take the tank. Scrounger gear is the best as you get more resources, can detect some things through walls when scanning, pick up things from farther away, loot stuff from corpses when inside a vehicle, and most importantly auto repair vehicles while driving.
for helicopters i use the rambo bow u can get it from some quest all u have to do is break into this base and fight a bunch of guys. it was kinda hard for me just bc i did it at like level 2 lol but it’s not too hard and it’s a rly good weapon
@@yeeeeehawwwwww Isn't the Rambo missions pretty far to the North East? That is pretty late game for most. I typically use the M16L (I think... the one with the wooden stock) and set it to semi auto. It has probably the best overall stats in the game. I use it with a compensator and extra body damage so if stealth fails I pull this thing out and go spaz on them. Just double tap on an enemy and it will kill almost anything (head or body shot).
Instead of sneaking around disabling each alarm and shooting the cameras. If you manage to kill the leader of the base and take a key off him/her. You can then use the key to enter a room in the base and inside most often is a power junction box which when sabotaged disables all alarms and cameras present. It does not disable automated turrets.
Get the Prisoners Shirt as soon possible as it doubles the amount of camp resources you pick up. If you hijack supply trucks and drive them to a pick up point you’ll get 100 supplies if you’re wearing it!
Tip from me: When your allowed to Start a storyline in one of the regions get a car(Aircraft not recommended as the Esperanza's AA gun can Destroy your plane/helicopter in 2.seconds and I'm not sure naval Vehicles will be suitable but your choice) and go to Esperanza If your there go to the right side Of the city and near there will be a yaran Contrabrano and then their will be a good weapon then that can help you in shooting them easily whether it's a Soldier or special forces itll pack. A punch I recommend using it throughout your loadout

I just play a few days for the game, but what I recommend is try to clear out the fnd bases and checkpoints as soon as you can before going for main missions. Because it will get more option for fast travel to destination instead of driving or flying far long away. But also remember clear out as many anti aircraft site as you could because they are very annoying. It may takes some time, but it also helps for level up to not afraid of increase region difficulty. So, here my opinion for game experience. I do this is just for fast travel point 😂.
Overall it is a good game. The combat feels a bit more sluggish than it did in FC5 but it's still good. I think many people dislike it because it took away the traditional Far Cry features like the skill trees and instead added even more crafting and looter shooter mechanics. I'm also not a massive fan about FC6's crafting system but it's okay enough that I still enjoy the game.

Like what I’m seeing early into the game, lots of little meta jokes in there references to past games “ setting stuff on fire with flame throwers, that seems familiar” haha.
Guys I do recommend turning on the white outline for things you can pick up and then the orange outline for bad people. It’s way easier to see especially in the night time.
If you don't like the look of the clothing equipped for the perks you can change the look of them nothing required like spray cans and such just inspect and look down bottom and tadaaa there you have it
Great video! Earned a sub from me. I’m still on the tutorial island, although I believe I’m at the end of the quest line now. I stumbled across a tank in the north west of the island following a certain mission nearby it’s location and then just drove it out back to the gas station in the south east. Really easy to do so early on in the game
When you get a unique weapon, the skin becomes unlocked for the base weapon is derived from. Like the Nail Driver is a unique MG42 so if you like the skin you can put it on the regular MG42. You can also swap round types loaded into a weapon from the weapon wheel. I do not know if that is difficulty based. Civilian vehicles can be scanned with the camera on Dani's cellphone which unlocks them so you can call them from a vehicle pickup point, but military ones you're going to have to drive back to a vehicle pickup point.
Chorizo is so cute I can't stand it. Looks just like this chihuahua/dachshund mix I had named Gaia. A sweet dog, but a killing machine; rabbits, vultures, squirrels, mice, flies, frogs, anything not quick enough was annihilated unfortunately, and brought back as a 'gift'. Luckily moving on my own calmed her down a lot. Playing just for Chorizo now. Downloading as I type this.

Great video and clear voice-over from you ( checking my Ubisoft account - I had the embarrassing realisation that I had been playing Ubisoft games for 15 years??? doesn't time fly) Anyway I take time but this one is very challenging for a 70-year-old and guess I am slowing up a little. Did ok with Valhalla killing all the witches on about 330 but this game requires as you say good understanding of all the mods etc One issue that bugs me is that I am now playing Blood Ties where Camila tries to get her brother back and I have noted that she jumps in full blast and shouts etc and attracts most guards/soldiers so ones ability to remain undetected and go in with stealth is greatly reduced. I have watched another channel where the guy playing seemed to be able to go into the mission without Camila charging loudly and alerting the soldiers so I am wondering if I am doing something wrong here. There appears to be no way of interacting with her and I know the game first release is full of bugs and spawns with changes. I did another mission with her pre this stage and again she made it doubly hard for me with her loud antics and lack of stealth ability.

A young 68 here and started with Far Cry 2! Loved 3 and 4 except for the weird dream/drug sequences where you are just walking forward while the designer shows off. Didn't like 5 at all, except for the cute mutt. Really enjoying 6.
Dang so I can probably unlock some new colors. I know I have gotten spray cans, but I have just seen locks over every single available color. I didn't realize we could hover over them and purchase them
I kept the scavenger hat and the red shirt on 90% of the time and seemed to always buy everything in full at one go. You can locate all the items and get exxtra.
Fantastic video! Although I am confused as to why champagne isn’t showing up for me. I have the ultimate edition and it only shows 4 other amigos that are locked. I’ve already completed the beginning prologue and I already have my co-op partner with me, but no champagne. I was positive that champagne was a skin for a Oluso, because it doesn’t show champagne in my amigo tab.

Too bad that my M9 pistol one shots anyone with just a silencer and an armour breaking mod. I thought this game would be too hard on Assault mode, but it wasn't. Now I can't change to Guerrilla mode... Good game after all. Started to get boring since I was literally max level before even finishing my questline in Madrugada. And again, could one shot with M9 pistol from far away using it like a sniper rifle to kill red coloured enemies with one bullet to the head. I couldn't see the point in using a sniper rifle or any of the clothing builds since the parkour clothes did everything for me that I could ever want, except the leggings could be switched with the scrounger ones to fix my car while driving. Oh and how I got max lvl is that i played with a friend co-op and looted chests in my area and in his resulting me being max level, although I would never be max before hitting the end of the questline.

First libertad crate i opened, rewarded me with the L96A1. Completely trivialized the first 2 areas until i had to start dealing with choppers.
Bought this game and put it in the cupboard for about a year. Started playing it about a month ago and I haven't stopped! Decent game to be fair.

That panther is op. I cleared the FND oil platform only using her, not a single shot fired, full stealth.
Yeh Oluso is the only companion I've used extensively. So handy doing a stealth build. Boom Boom is also ace.

for helicopters i use the rambo bow u can get it from some quest all u have to do is break into this base and fight a bunch of guys. it was kinda hard for me just bc i did it at like level 2 lol but it’s not too hard and it’s a rly good weapon
@@yeeeeehawwwwww Isn't the Rambo missions pretty far to the North East? That is pretty late game for most. I typically use the M16L (I think... the one with the wooden stock) and set it to semi auto. It has probably the best overall stats in the game. I use it with a compensator and extra body damage so if stealth fails I pull this thing out and go spaz on them. Just double tap on an enemy and it will kill almost anything (head or body shot).

Instead of sneaking around disabling each alarm and shooting the cameras. If you manage to kill the leader of the base and take a key off him/her. You can then use the key to enter a room in the base and inside most often is a power junction box which when sabotaged disables all alarms and cameras present. It does not disable automated turrets.

Tip - Only use armor piercing rounds. Except on LMGS. Use blast rounds on LMGS. They melt helicopters and trucks
Get the Prisoners Shirt as soon possible as it doubles the amount of camp resources you pick up. If you hijack supply trucks and drive them to a pick up point you’ll get 100 supplies if you’re wearing it!
Tip from me: When your allowed to Start a storyline in one of the regions get a car(Aircraft not recommended as the Esperanza's AA gun can Destroy your plane/helicopter in 2.seconds and I'm not sure naval Vehicles will be suitable but your choice) and go to Esperanza If your there go to the right side Of the city and near there will be a yaran Contrabrano and then their will be a good weapon then that can help you in shooting them easily whether it's a Soldier or special forces itll pack. A punch I recommend using it throughout your loadout

Excellent Video far cry 6 is absolutely amazing definitely the best far cry so far love it :)
I just play a few days for the game, but what I recommend is try to clear out the fnd bases and checkpoints as soon as you can before going for main missions. Because it will get more option for fast travel to destination instead of driving or flying far long away. But also remember clear out as many anti aircraft site as you could because they are very annoying. It may takes some time, but it also helps for level up to not afraid of increase region difficulty. So, here my opinion for game experience. I do this is just for fast travel point 😂.

I have been enjoying the health of the game it is really fun. I have been taking my time. Gathering all the chess and vehicles I can.

This game is great not sure why so many hate it. To me the best Far Cry since 3, and I also loved 4 and 5
Overall it is a good game. The combat feels a bit more sluggish than it did in FC5 but it's still good.
I think many people dislike it because it took away the traditional Far Cry features like the skill trees and instead added even more crafting and looter shooter mechanics. I'm also not a massive fan about FC6's crafting system but it's okay enough that I still enjoy the game.
@@jep1st yeah I dunno I like all Far Cry games, but I do admit they need to change it a bit, its getting a bit stale now. I like FC6 a lot,

Like what I’m seeing early into the game, lots of little meta jokes in there references to past games “ setting stuff on fire with flame throwers, that seems familiar” haha.
Guys I do recommend turning on the white outline for things you can pick up and then the orange outline for bad people. It’s way easier to see especially in the night time.

If you don't like the look of the clothing equipped for the perks you can change the look of them nothing required like spray cans and such just inspect and look down bottom and tadaaa there you have it

I’m still on the tutorial island, although I believe I’m at the end of the quest line now. I stumbled across a tank in the north west of the island following a certain mission nearby it’s location and then just drove it out back to the gas station in the south east. Really easy to do so early on in the game

When you get a unique weapon, the skin becomes unlocked for the base weapon is derived from. Like the Nail Driver is a unique MG42 so if you like the skin you can put it on the regular MG42. You can also swap round types loaded into a weapon from the weapon wheel. I do not know if that is difficulty based. Civilian vehicles can be scanned with the camera on Dani's cellphone which unlocks them so you can call them from a vehicle pickup point, but military ones you're going to have to drive back to a vehicle pickup point.
Chorizo is so cute I can't stand it. Looks just like this chihuahua/dachshund mix I had named Gaia. A sweet dog, but a killing machine; rabbits, vultures, squirrels, mice, flies, frogs, anything not quick enough was annihilated unfortunately, and brought back as a 'gift'. Luckily moving on my own calmed her down a lot. Playing just for Chorizo now. Downloading as I type this.

Great video and clear voice-over from you ( checking my Ubisoft account - I had the embarrassing realisation that I had been playing Ubisoft games for 15 years??? doesn't time fly) Anyway I take time but this one is very challenging for a 70-year-old and guess I am slowing up a little. Did ok with Valhalla killing all the witches on about 330 but this game requires as you say good understanding of all the mods etc One issue that bugs me is that I am now playing Blood Ties where Camila tries to get her brother back and I have noted that she jumps in full blast and shouts etc and attracts most guards/soldiers so ones ability to remain undetected and go in with stealth is greatly reduced. I have watched another channel where the guy playing seemed to be able to go into the mission without Camila charging loudly and alerting the soldiers so I am wondering if I am doing something wrong here. There appears to be no way of interacting with her and I know the game first release is full of bugs and spawns with changes. I did another mission with her pre this stage and again she made it doubly hard for me with her loud antics and lack of stealth ability.

A young 68 here and started with Far Cry 2! Loved 3 and 4 except for the weird dream/drug sequences where you are just walking forward while the designer shows off. Didn't like 5 at all, except for the cute mutt. Really enjoying 6.

I have the ultimate edition and it only shows 4 other amigos that are locked. I’ve already completed the beginning prologue and I already have my co-op partner with me, but no champagne.
I was positive that champagne was a skin for a Oluso, because it doesn’t show champagne in my amigo tab.

There's something I haven't had answered. Does armor have base defense stats based on the star level? Will a 4* have a greater base stats than a 1*?
Too bad that my M9 pistol one shots anyone with just a silencer and an armour breaking mod. I thought this game would be too hard on Assault mode, but it wasn't. Now I can't change to Guerrilla mode... Good game after all. Started to get boring since I was literally max level before even finishing my questline in Madrugada. And again, could one shot with M9 pistol from far away using it like a sniper rifle to kill red coloured enemies with one bullet to the head. I couldn't see the point in using a sniper rifle or any of the clothing builds since the parkour clothes did everything for me that I could ever want, except the leggings could be switched with the scrounger ones to fix my car while driving. Oh and how I got max lvl is that i played with a friend co-op and looted chests in my area and in his resulting me being max level, although I would never be max before hitting the end of the questline.
