I had the privilege of watching this guy destroy the league for 8 years as a Sixer. It's like the rest of the world discovered him after he left Philly, but we already knew he was a beast.

@Jon Davis before we go any further I have to ask...do you have some personal vendetta against him? It sure sounds like it by the way you're talking about him. That would make your opinion biased. Now if you're speaking as a fan of the sport, I have to stand by my original comment. All I have to say is that his back had to be sore as hell from carrying that team to the finals.

And they keep comparing Blake Griffin to this man? are they serious? Ill give Griffin the dunking part because he go over people while Barkley go chest to chest dunks. but that's mostly it. Barkley can do anything he wants.. Shooting mid range to long range. post up from left to right and shoot with either hands. And strength a 6'4 shouldn't have but he does. Yes Griffin can score 20 a game, but with a help of Chris Paul. Barkley dominated with or with out a help of a great point guard, and if he does have a point guard like CP3 Barkley would average 30 a night. and lets not even talk about rebounding, you guys know who will rule between the two of them. if you don't search it hahaha

Barkley is either the 2nd or 3rd best player of his generation after Jordan (depending on how you feel about Hakeem), he is the only player who faced Jordan in the finals and didn't back down (he averaged 27-14-6 in the finals that year), he just had the terrible luck of having to go against Jordan/Hakeem 3 straight years in a row, and those were the only great teams he was on, after that his prime was over

my point is why u consider tim as pf and not center, for me his gamestyle is more similar to center.the same way why pur hakeem, robinson, ewing as centers and not pf?if a guard's gamestyle is more to create and pass and then score u call him a pg not a sg,so every position has some features and pf position the player should have a vamlance between inside game and outside, barkley, malone, hayes, mcale had these features and call them pf but tim did 't,his outside game is medium and 90% plays inside.

Wrong Kid. Most of Jordan´s Assists Came From Drawing Attention Through His Drives Early in his Career When He Was A Ball Hogg Not Later On What Happened? He Started To Win, Why? Finally Jordan Listend To Phil Jacks On Letting Pippen Own the Game Creating Through his Point-Forward Play. Thats When The Bulls Won, When Pippen Became The Point-Forward. Pippen and Grant Made Jordan a Champion. Jordan Left the 1993-94 Season Pippen was Top 4 in PER, Top 10 in DRT (rest all bigmen), All Star MVP etc

actually daugherty was very good player(not as good tim cause was medium defender)but in his offensive game had the same gamestyle, moves, very good passer for a center and mainly,as tim, playing in the paint.robinson was great player to ran the court and dribble,he was faster, more athletic and better shooter than tim and also play more face and not back forwards,as u say.also barkley did n't only dribble and shoot but had amazing post game, especially for his height, that's why he had 55 fg%!

  • @Defender80s

Jordan Created Pippen? Just Take a Look at MJ´s Play-Off Record Without Pippen, Grant and Phil Jackson (The Greatest Modern Coach). In 1993-94 Pippen Lead the Bulls in Everything, Just 2 Wins Lesser, Everyone Shot at a Higher FG% and Pippen´s Bulls Where a Bad Call Away from the Finals Again. Jordan Was a Great Individual Player But He Made No One Better But Himself.

tim's game has more similarities with ewing, daugherty or barkley, hayes, garnett and malone?if u say the 2n then it's obvious u are crazy.but even if i accept tim is pf u say is better cause he s better defensively than barkley and malone that's why is better overall?barkley and malone were much better in offense but were also good in defense(not like tim of course),there are also hayes who was better in offense and at least as good defender as tim, what about kg?except u say that because of titles

shaq and ewing could n't dribble like hakeem and robinson but not worst than tim, both were taller.shaq made some unbelelievable highlight dribbles and ewing was also good and mainly use his dribble when defender guard him outside(pat was very good midde range shooter)to get over him and score.watch some videos before u say your arguments.for example watch"ewing top 13 plays" or "shaquille o'neal coast to coast" and many other.i isist my point tim was more a center but even pf not the best!

sorry but saying duncan could play defeense so is the best is wrong.the same way e.hayes was also great defender but also better offensively than tim.mchale also was very good defender with those long arms.and what about kevin love is like barkley?are u serious man?u loose any possible arguments u might have!as concern tim,in my opinion is more a center than a pf,he has great post and inside game but not so good outside shooter like barkley, malone, hayes,kg and of course not like dirk and pettit

Kevin Johnson Was a Very Good Player Himself But He Was More of a "1st Drive-Shoot then Pass PG" He Played More Like a SG. He Was a Selfish Player and Didn´t Make Others Better. No Wonder He Shot like 42% FG in the 93 Finals and Averaged Just 1 More APG than Charles. He Was Good But He Wasn´t and Isn´t HOF Material. The Suns NeeDed a Better Defensive Center and a PURE PASS-TYPE PG. But Then Again Its Hard to Beat MJ, then Having Your 2nd Best Player Be PIPPEN!. Jordan Was Blessd With Pippen!

LOL Jordan and Hakeem made sure that didn't happen.
Barkley had 3 CURRENT Allstars on his team in his prime. Hakeem had Kenny Smith
