Love It CVVCLIPS Bro.
2:49 "You have offended me, in a Shaolin Temple. You must die!"
Out of nowhere hahah
I love Bruce Lee lol
And then he has the humility to say "I don't know where that came from" lmao
I know right! Thats something my dad would say.
It's definitely a sort of in character tone setter, but at the same time it's really funny stream of consciousness sort of thing
That was beautifully put in there, I laughed my a** off.
over 900 pounds of humanity sounds like a Jim Ross call
The carnage, over 900 lbs of human flesh has broken the ring bawg god almighty the floor is shaking. The people are going wild!!!!
King: JR im worried about hornswoggle he lives down there.
Jim: BAWGH GOD ALMIGHTY HORNSWOGGLE HAS BEEN SQUASHED BY THESE TWO BEHEMOTH IN THE RING
@@emanuelperez3595 perfection
@@anexis_ this is one thing AI could greatly help us with.
😂😂 I love it!!
Chris “You Broke His Leg!”
Mark “Well…he punched me in my teeth..”
I love the Bruce Lee quote that followed lol
900 lbs of humanity, and thats around what he deadlifted in weights. Insane
Paul Wight was absolutely not 500 lbs, let’s not kayfabe it. Maybe 350-400 tops
yo brock when u coming back
@@KHII 350 are you serious? Big show was maybe like 430 at that time. At big show's biggest he was 530 in 2006.
@@austindanquer2936 Summerslam or The Rumble 😉
@@KHII Whatever Mark Deadlifted 900 and change is the point, but yea Show I think was early 400s tho at that point
Will forever remember seeing mark henry vs big show live, they were a lot faster and bigger then they look on tv.
True talented athletes
Mark cutting a promo midway through “you have offended me in the shaolin temple… you must die” 😭
This is Mark Henry's best moment ever. Also, the fake Retirement with John Cena and many more.
Not really, it was just a rehash of the same spot that Lesnar and Show did previously. The fake retirement was brilliant though.
@@danzam40 yeah if only henry would have beat cena clean at mitb 2013, even just him being the champ for even one night would have been a great ending.
Mizzark best moment is giving life to a Hand alongside The Late Mae Young and it's not even close !
Beating Orton clean & the promo after
Not at all, him beating Orton clean for the title was his best moment. Orton at the time rarely lost and was the top guy on Snackdown, so for Henry to pin him clean was a huge feat.
I adore the fact that he stared straight into the camera without cracking up and said the line about you have offended me in a shaolin Temple you must die, his voice just makes it so much more hilarious to o
He’s such a pro his mind works in promos
@@josephlusardi759 you aren't wrong and it's just absolutely hilarious
after that match John Cena and Alberto del Rio had to wrestle in a broken ring
They should've just made it a falls count anywhere match.
Yep and it was part of the storyline
@@joemckim1183if I remember correctly. It was a last man standing match so it worked out
Those where the days
Prime Paul Wight was a beast athletically, on par with Big Van Vader
Too bad his prime was about 1-2 years before he started putting on a lot of weight. Haha
@@Larry-dq4ig Even when he put the weight on, he was still twice the athlete Andre was at the same weight.
@@nbaldwin45Andre could do standing drop kicks when he was younger… people keep going by the Wrestlemania 3 image of Andre as a slow lumbering giant but if you watch his territory work in the 70s he was very athletic and fast
People always underestimate what an incredible athlete Show was. Not just his agility but he'd do stuff at 450lbs like Russian leg sweeps which you'd never see guys of that size doing plus his strength was off the charts. There are all these stories of Andre flipping cars but I put my money on Wight being stronger. He just didn't have Andre's attitude and aggression so he got into fewer fights. The reason why Show will never be put on the same pedestal as Andre has nothing to do with his athletic ability, it's that he was booked with endless heel/face turns and was never protected like Andre was.
Show was powerful as fuq, I hate to see him like he is now though, his legs dont look like they are in good shape, my favorite wrestler
I remember seeing this on raw as a kid when I couldn’t watch the ppv lmao one of the best moments fs
As far as athletic titans, 450 Lbs Big Van Vader moonsaulting off the top rope, was an engineering marvel.
Mark is such a nice guy and everyone that met him says so. Ask him 1 questions and you got storys for 5 podcasts ❤
In WCW, The Giant was billed as 7'4". It was burned into my brain during his program with Kevin Nash, who was billed at 7' even. That feud had one of my favorite "magic tricks," as Mark puts it. There was a "can't touch me" clause in play during the build to their match prohibiting The Giant from putting his hands on Nash. At one point, they were both outside the ring and Paul was livid and had Nash cornered against the ring post. He reared back with his right hand and I thought for sure he was going to deck Nash with a punch (LONG before he started using the WMD). Instead he lunged for the ring post right next to Nash's head and he slowly bent the ring post with his rage. I never see this moment brought up these days. Makes me wonder if I dreamed the whole thing, but I remember it vividly and, to 12-year old me, it was very impressive. lol
I had a friend who was a semi-pro wrestler who was actually just over seven foot tall. He looked down at Nash when he walked down the aisle. So Nash was making up the seven foot tall thing LOL
@@madtownangler oh for sure. Pretty sure Paul wasn't 7'4" either.
HOLY SHIT I REMEMBER THAT!! Nash splashed him with a coffee and Sting practically flew the fuck in to pull Giant back in and then he went and grabbed the ring post! That was on a Nitro!
Let's go Mark! Awesome interview Cris!
I love watching these interviews of these legends like Henry. They are always so fascinating to hear these behind the scenes stories.
Yokozuna was another big guy who could move around like a feather in his prime
And Khali when he was younger (before he fucked up his knees) he could jump over the top rope.
I was in the building for it and I didn't know it was going to happen. When they did it complete shock seeing it in person. The best one was first time with brock and big show.
Its over 900lbs of humanity in the ring. 😂😂😂
It was over 1,000lbs if you count the ref...
Young Andre was untouchable
Mark Henery is such a good person. 😎👍
At the end I was hearing mark talk about big guys who were agile and could move and do things. Rikishi was missed. That man could maneuver a 400lb body.
Love the random Enter the Dragon reference!
Oh the humanity 😩
I LOVE MARK HENRY. HE IS SO GENUINE AND REAL
Love Mark! Big Show is one of my favorites of all time. Loved him in WCW as well. He forgot to mention Big Van Vader, though. I heard a story that Andre was very athletic and did drop kicks, etc. when he was younger big Vince Sr. (I believe) told him to stop doing that because he wanted to appear as a big opposing giant. It makes sense because I heard Kevin Nash explain the philosophy. If you're a huge wrestler and fighter a smaller opponent, the smaller opponent is supposed to do all the athletic moves and you're supposed to just kind of move slow and hit them or throw them. If you start doing all the athletic moves, your smaller opponent really has nothing to do.
Mark Henry truly one of the legends in WWE and used to be my favorite childhood wrestler 🔥
Mark Henry is such a gem
Chris is hands down one of the best people in the IWC not to mention one of the most respectable one
1st time I ever saw it was Brock and Big Show
I count Kane as a big man more than Taker because Kane was 320 lbs full of muscle at one point
And Kane was pretty damn athletic when he wanted to be too. One moment I recall was Kane and Show in a tag match against somebody. Kane whips the guy into the ropes and does the split leg jump over the guy. Guy rebounds off the ropes and Kane does it again, then drop kicks the dude.
@@Mr_T_Badger Kane did a fricking RANA on Albert. It didn't look pretty but he got there.
You had the best big men, like Undertaker, Kane, Kevin Nash, Rikishi, Umaga etc.
Then you had the best BIG men, like Mark Henry, Big Show, Andre, Bam Bam etc. Guys who were upwards of 400lbs and could still do ridiculous things.
I’m surprised nobody has mentioned Vader doing his moonsault. He was over 400 pounds.
Mark Henry is top 3
They have Ivor now who is like 350+ and crazy athletic.
I love listening to the story’s from wrestlers.
God, i remember that. Mad respect to these guys' athleticism.
First time I watched this match was on the Best PPV Matches of 2011 DVD. It was the final match of the 3 disc set.
2:40 Damn, I thought Mark was serious there for a moment 😆
Chris - You broke his leg.
Mark - Well, he punched me in my teeth.
i love how Mark Henry twitched while he was lying there
Mark with the humility here. Goated. Mark is an athlete himself. Big dude but can dunk
Thank you for pronouncing Louisville Kentucky correctly
EPIC
Mark henry top 10 theme songs
Best spot in a match that’s probably top 5 ish in wwe history
Much respect to Mark Henry and The Big Show!
I remember Cornette talking about Mark Henry getting hurt while running the ropes down in OVW because the WWE made them use real ropes instead of cables. Cornette said he didn’t want to use the real ropes because he was afraid they would break and someone would get hurt and sure enough that is exactly what happened. Corny knew what he was doing. Johnny Ace did not.
Hearing him talk about how it was done, I wonder if it was solenoids. They are special "explosive" releases used in rigging. They are used to drop things like banners fast. they consist of a compression spring [like a car shock, but only around an inch in diameter] and a pin on an electromagnet. As long as NO power is being sent to the magnet, the spring forces the pin into the locked position, holding whatever it is driven through [like the eyelet on the cables holding the ring together]. When power is sent to the solenoid, the electromagnet engages and retracts the pin. For fans of FNaF, yes, this is a real-life springlock and is used whenever a band changes backdrops in the middle of a show [without bringing the batton or truss in].
Rigging the support wires to solenoids and blowing them right before the spot could do it.
I missed this, I saw brock and big show break it. Gonna have to watch that now.
Chris: "What do you think about this?"
Mark: *(the most guttural cough I've ever heard in my life)*
Trying to tell mark Henry and big shaq apart is so tough
Paul White doing a moonsault? That breaks my brain.🤯🤯🤯
Andre was athletic when he was younger, doing drop kicks and such We just remember the older Andre. Big show ain't drop kicked nobody in a long time
“You must die” 🤣
That was a crazy moment back in 2011 ever since that day i always thought it would be cool😂 to do it again.
Mark henry is so funny 🤣
Mark was such a great heel I hated him as a kid. Now that I've seen a bunch of his shoots and who he actually is as a person, I really like the guy
Chris and SantiZap are the 2 greatest parts of the IWC to me. But everything Chris does is just stellar
Now they have Ivor who is just as athletic.
Big show was a skinny high flyer
I fucking laughed too.
I've worked on WWE rings before in my line of work. If this man tells you he broke the ropes legitimately, you better believe he is a beast. That shit is fucking impossible.
Well, he messed the quote up. But it's from Enter the Dragon; Lee confronts Han before engaging him in a fight "you have offended my family, and you have offended a Shaolin Temple". Henry's point is the same, you have done things against me that require retribution, Show
Tazz and bam bam did this in ECW
A hole in the floor, not the same as the entire ring collapsing
Can you picture the clash of titans between Mark Henry and Andre The Giant?
Even if you set up the ring like that you gotta have it set up normally for the rest of the matches leading up to the match where the ring breaks.
"You broke his leg"
"Well he punched me in my teeth"
Might be the most country shit I've ever heard in a wrestling shoot interview and it wasn't even intentional ... Love Mark Henry he reminds me of a lot of the dudes I grew up around
Boy he was possessed by Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon. "You have offended my family and you have offended the Shaolin temple." 😁💙 Bruce took the wheel! 💯
I'm surprised WWE never had BS/PW do that missle dropkick as a finish.
Mark must have never seen Andre in his early years. Back in the 1970s, Andre could do top rope moves like a cruiserweight. The main difference between Andre and Paul Wight is that Paul had the surgery to stop his growth, and Andre didn't. Andre just kept on growing (after a certain point, more "wide" than "tall", which is what helped lead to his early death. Try finding those Andre matches from the 1970s, and you'll see what I mean.
Mark’s a strong man child and you can’t convince me otherwise 😂😂😂
Vader super athletic for a big guy. Watched him growing up doing moonsaults and was like How??
BTW, I'm gonna mention this every time I post a comment on Vader.
WWF/E totally dropped the ball with this guy. Go back and watch his first 3 or 4 matches and watch the crowd reaction he got. It was unreal.......
If not for HBK (who I loved) Vader could've had a major run with the belt. But yet due to politics, he was wasted.
I think The Giant broke the ring In WCW or he moved It or something crazy
I know with Brock they had balloons or something under the steps so the ring breaks
I'd love to meet Mark first hand. He seems like an amazing human
Big Show did a kip up in WCW before.
Poor Hornswoggle
In hindsight imagine if the Ring had Buckled After the Hogan Andre Slam t
4:01 WHAT!?!?
Henry looking slim these days
Dude has had enough. He has worked very hard on his body all his life. It's time to rest.
Everytime i see this man i can help it to think of shaq
They realy can be brothers😂
For my money Mike Awesome is the most athletic big man I've seen in pro wrestling and I've seen a lot.
Big show bam bam Bigelow and Vader the most big athletes ever in wrestling
5:21 he gotta say Keith Lee
Keith Lee isn't Tall like Kane and Big Show I think that's what Henry was making his list on when he was talking about "Big Men"
If only we could see a fatal 4 way match with big show mark braun and brock
Personally, I think Taker is the best big man of all time but I’m not mad at anyone that says Big Show
Yokozuna was 589 lbs
I was there when they broke the ring and I couldn't care less for the Cena vs Del Rio match after the ring broke.
airbags. they used airbags. that had quick release valves.
900 lbs of humanity hitting a ring is NASTY WORK!
I know he mentioned taker and why but still..Best athletic big man might have to go to undertaker or Kane though to be fair!
bam bam bigelow.
The timing on Brock n Big Show spot was better almost real. Mark n Show wasn't too perfect so u kinda see the trick
4:51 and they sent him to OVW to “get in shape”… he was more athletic than people half his size! And when he returned to WWE he didn’t do any of that stuff anymore!
Probably more to do with getting blown up during matches and looking flabby for photoshoots
Chris looks like seth rollins
Only Mark Henry, I don't count The Undertaker, he was too small.
Brock Lesnar and Big Show did it better but Mark Henry and Big Show had great chemistry during their feud for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The spot shouldn't have never happened
Vader was the best bigman ever. Legit moonsault.
Their weight had nothing to do with the ring collapse.
Poor referee he fell kinda bad😬
the soap opera/drama that happens in WWF/E is legit 💀😂
