Nothing but love for Mark Henry, a great man, a great big man in wrestling & put in a long time in a ring & as a strong man too. A great mind for the business, too. It's great to see Mark get emotional about creating his spot & it is a great spot that makes sense, too.

I remember seeing his debut as a 8 year old in 1996. I unfortunately saw the match he had in Anaheim in 2016 in the front row.. Nonetheless class gentlemen when I met Mark at WaleMania 2018 in NOLA.

I believe I’ve seen Cena do this spot the most so I naturally associate that spot with him, but Mark Henry absolutely created a very impressive thing in this business.

Every wrestler who ever steps into the ring for a living wishes he could offer something to the wrestling business that will outlasts their very own career. Mark Henry has every reason to be proud of himself because not only did he created something that will likely far outlasts his own career, but he did it out of pure brotherhood, just trying to protect his colleague. He wasn't trying to come up with something different or trying to show off. He just did what needed to be done to protect a brother.

I completely feel why that's emotional for him, Very very rarely can someone do something new & legendary in wrestling & when they do its obv in effort to make themselves look good as the spot would or should, but he was able to add something to the world of wrestling because the first thing that was on his mind was protecting his Lil bro's health & career, it came from an act of selflessness and that's even more rare than intentionally creating something new but you really gotta give Chris a lot of credit for knowing how to connect with these guys by asking excellent nuanced questions, who knew bringing up one spot could make a guy like Mark Henry so emotional.
