Good video. There's only one point I have a contrary opinion on and that's about the ecosystem. I very much have an integrated PC tablet workflow with S8 Ultra and Windows PCs. I frequently move files back and forth between the 2 devices and the Android's compatibility with Windows create an ecosystem offering multiple options for transferring files. Part of this ecosystem is the built-in second display function on the Galaxy Tab. Microsoft implemented compatibility on the Windows side for the second display function, specifically for the Samsung Tabs. Superdisplay is superior to the second display feature, but Superdisplay itself is designed for Windows which makes it a cog in the Android to Windows ecosystem. Lastly, there's the ecosystem between Samsung devices. I very much do move work between my Galaxy Note phone and S8 Ultra. Sometimes I use an app on one Samsung device and pick up where I left off on my other Samsung device (and that includes art work). And there's the companion mode in Clip Studio, all part of the Samsung ecosystem.
Yeah you're right 🤦🏿♂️ ! I didn't really think about the Windows to Android quote unquote ecosystem because I don't use it much. I should have been more specific when I said the ecosystem, what I really meant was for example if you buy the airpods, Apple watch they only work within the Apple ecosystem. You can take the iPad out of the Apple ecosystem and it's still functions it still can interact with non-apple ecosystem things. So like the back and forth as far as moving files you still can do that with iPad to PC may not be as convenient. easynlight can be used for Android and iOS alternate version of super display ios to PC I don't know if it works as great as super display 🤷🏿♂️. Companion mode not on iOS but I will argue how long do you think that's going to last? Also most people who have a iPad they're probably using procreate, I know I would. But you are indeed right because the ecosystem encompasses convenient features also.
Apple’s eco system is unmatched but I have both iPad 12.9 pro and 8 ultra and prefer the 8 ultra. I feel all the bells and whistles and apps in the iPad distract from the core creative process. I’m much more creative and satisfied with my work on tab 8 ultra.
People should stop saying the apple has a better or larger ecosystem cuz Samsung has the best and the most unrivaled ecosystem plus the smoothest you can gey on any device Apple is still learning take it or leave it😁😁
iPad Pro also has Artstudio pro, art 4 and a couple more but the first 2 I mentioned are awesome I have both tab s7 plus and pro 11 inch now I’m upgrading I’m looking for just 1 tablet and the 14inch is very tempting the space for drawing must feel great. Also no one mentions Apple Pencil is trash compared to spen not even close I bought all kind of accessories and it still sucks balls that’s also another reason I’m might just stick with Samsung.

The iPad pro seems like a safe option since majority of artists had been using it and had prasied it for that last few years. I love the size and the 4:3 ratio, "squared" shape of the iPad since it seems easy to draw in both landscape and protrait canvases. Also since iPad have a more populated community, it's easier to search for resolution if I ever run in to any troubles. Whereas the Galaxy Tab S8 series although less popular, it also have great reviews from what I researched. Two aspects that I adore from the Galaxy Tab is the included S-pen, and how it could be used as a second screen for PCs (meaning we can use PC apps). Another big PLUS is that you can insert a external memory card if you ever run out of storage. From everything I listed I'm currently leaning towards getting one of the Galaxy Tab S8 series, if the ratio of it is a more squared-shape I think I would buy it in a heartbeat! 💓 To anyone who owns a Galaxy Tab: How does it feel when you are drawing in protrait mode? Does the ratio of the tablet bothers you? Or do you just stay in landscape mode even for protrait drawings?
I have been using the Galaxy Tab s7plus for 2 years now, I love it and mainly use Clip Studio Paint for artwork. It works great but in portrait mode the user interface tabs eat into the canvas space and that is a drawback. However the SPen on the Samsung is much better for drawing than the Apple Pencil because it has a fine tip rather than the rounded fat tip of the Apple Pencil. I have no idea why everyone raves about the Apple Pencil, they need to make one with a fine tip for drawing!!! I'm now trying to choose between a new IpadPro M2 12.9inch and a Samsung S8 Ultra. What I like about the IpadPro is the 4x3 screen ratio, plus ProCreate, plus I can use it for music production apps and recording my guitar. What puts me off is the Apple Pencil, and to get the 16gb ram version you have to buy the 1tb model which is over £2k!!!! which honestly is ridiculous for a tablet. What I like about the S8 Ultra is the massive screen and the S Pen and you can get the 16gb ram version for about £1,200. So now I'm undecided!!!!
@@davidcotton6999 I went in store to compare the two a few days ago and I completely agree on how much the S-Pen feels better than the apple pencil. I did see there are fine-tip replacements for apple pencils from 3rd party companies and a few artists had post videos on YT reviewing them. I tried using CSP on the Tab 8 ultra and it ate up a lot of the spaces in portrait mode, I'm thinking of getting a shortcut keypad to assist and increase my workflow for my PC, and if it also works with the galaxy tab, we can minimise tool bars for more canvas space. I'm also looking in to music/video production, I know iPads are capable for those kind of production, but I don't see many Galaxy Tab users reviewing it on this aspect. Have you done any music/video production on your Galaxy Tab s7+? If so, how smoothly did those app worked?

I havnt even tried any music production or recording on my Tab S7plus because everything I read about android says its a real struggle due to latency issues. This is where Apple is a clear winner, there are loads of recording Apps and accessories for plugging in guitars and audio interfaces etc and DAW apps. I'm leaning more and more towards getting the ipad pro 12.9 with M2 chip.

for fashion i have no clue but i don't think it would be any different than drawing if you want the best bang for your buck S7-S8 if you don't care about that IPAD PRO

something i dont think any reviewers ever touch on is that there are actually no oem nub replacements for the samsung s pen, so enjoy either buyng a new 100 dollar pen every time your nub weara down, or buying third party ones that may or may not function significantly worse

If you didn't like the purchase of the tablet after deciding between the two, the trade-in program is always there for both Apple and Samsung.

I'm actually using some 3rd party nibs now so far so good but good point tho we should talk about the nibs more I think 🤔 I'll make a video on it

Yeah I would recommend going with a different stylus tho like the Wacom one pen or the s pen pro if you get one of those paper like protectors.
