The most apple bias video I've found. 1. Pencil in the back is the best place for styluses. You don't have to shuffle your hand around to find once you get used to where it is. 2. If the free spen is too small for you, you can buy the spen pro. Same size as the apple pencil 3. There's a setting in CSP where it can detect whether it's your hand or your pen I feel like you just don't know how to use the tablet or has very little experience with it and didn’t even try

The thing is that Apple is just too expensive. You need to buy the iPad + the Apple Pencil, while with the S9 Ultra you get both for a cheaper value. Here in Brazil there's even a plus to this: the Galaxy Tab S9 line comes with the Smart Book Cover (the one with the keyboard and touchpad) included, even with the cheaper of the three. I do have a Mac and an iPhone, but it's too damn expensive right now...
I just ordered the 16gb ram with 1tb storage. Switching from an iPad Pro. I want the oled display, the bigger screen and drawing space! Super excited!!!
Cool comparison! I’ve switched from iPad pro M1 12’9” to the tab s9 Ultra. I’m professional illustrator. About the issues of accidental touches on the screen while painting, it’s true, is a little more erratic than on the ipad, but I noticed that with a painting glove (typical glove for three fingers) it’s solved. I ‘ve always use this type of glove, since I used cintiq, ipad… so, no changes in my workflow. I enjoy so much clip studio paint on this massive and amazing screen. And the possibility to use the Lamy Stylus, or the Wacom one stylus, it’s another level of comfy, when I have to paint many hours, for me, a lot better than years and years using apple pencil. And android for file management, like a normal operating system, is another improvement on my workflow. iPad Os is sometimes a headcache, in terms of managing files. 😅
You can also in the settings increase play rejection and touch screen sensitivity. Which also helps. I love my tabs9u over my previous iPad because of the display, s pen , and multitasking. Not to mention the aspect ration. I even use this for my piano music scores.
Does the seaside have art programs built in already and how do they compare to Apple? I am looking at both and this will be my first time starting digital art. I am not savvy with computers and looking for the shortest learning curve.
This is what I like to hear! I am having such a hard time looking at anything that has Apple logo on it.. Though this makes it difficult.. I am also shocked that since once in the history, it seems that apple has the better processing power in this case!?.. Also brighter nits screen for being able to work outside in bright light? And all things I hear about, lag, parallex ect that it is considered the best feeling - ohh and don`t forget the RGB correctness of those apple screens that always seem to deliver, it just makes a hard choice.. But having to switch from usb-c chargers to those Apple connectors seems like a chore on itself, just like the rest of there closed ecosystem, working with that Os is so frustrating and yes also in file management its just horrible.. Also when the device stops getting updates the apps wont work anymore (I still have 10 year old galaxy phones spare, that are still working fine) I just cannot imagine seeing myself dabble into that Apple ecosystem that likes to milk there users while usually always lacking behind on many departments.. Have you also considered the Microsoft Surface Pro instead of the Galaxy tab? Would you rather work with Clip Art and or HiPaint instead of the full Adobe Suite - do you have any regrets switching back to Samsung from the eyes of the illustrator?
Wacom one stylus with Galaxy tab s 9 ultra it's amazing choice for artists... Better than iPad pro 12.9... By the way you need to buy apple pencil with iPad... So you can buy wacom one stylus with Tab S 9 ultra... and it will be best choice...
For anyone wondering the S9 FE plus is great too. Just use a drawing glove to be sure even though it IS possible without one. (Preferable with palm rejection which is the same price and has just and extra layer)
Interesting perspectives on skewed sizing of canvas but not enough information about the comparison between the two devices when it comes to artmaking. Plus saying "apple ecosystem" to close the argument is lazy. They are different ecosystems with pros and cons. Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a high-performance tablet that can stay relevant for 5-6 years. Currently, I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, but I'm also considering the iPad Pro 12.9, Tab S9 Ultra, and Galaxy Book 3 360. Which one would you recommend for the best performance and longevity
I usually hear that iPads lasts longer than Samsung tabs and it also has more polished art app options, I also hear that samsung tabs are good for media consumption but not so good for longevity. But take this with a grain of salt, I only own an apple so I’m only saying what I heard from other articles and reviewers. Overall though the ipad just has a wider variety of polished art apps than the samsung tab from what I’ve seen. For the galaxy book 3 360 though, I can’t say anything sadly 😅. Good luck in choosing!
Late reply but I currently use a iPad Mini and use for Procreate and Affinity. Media consumption wise Samsung Tabs are better than the iPad But unless you're willing to pay a monthly subscription for Clip Studio, iPad will offer a better drawing experience
Ah, it's just so unfair, I want an iPad only because I love Procreate and that is paid just once, meanwhile S9 ultra is more affordablel and better but I have to pay monthly for Clip Studio and the programm is more complex than Procreate and I might learn slowly how to use it
From 2:05 when you compared displays, why samsung color and contrast looking so washed out in comparison to ipad? Is it due to camera angle is there really that much of a difference? Can you make a comparison just for displays specifically in the dark environment so that we can really see the difference and help us choose please. Thanks in advance😊
I have both of these devices and it's the camera and it looks like she has a matte cover on the s9u. The s9u display is way more clear and vibrant and just so damn good compared to my former ipad pro 12.9 mini led which forever had bloom issues and never true blacks. Love my tab s9u.
This is due to high reflectivity of Samsung displays, I have bought S9+, the display is beautiful and bright but very reflective. In bright condition, black don't look black, when you dim the light, it looks much better.
I recommend you a pc with a 20 to 27 inch display pen, any wacom or other brands are cool for what you are describing. Tablets and cel alike, are using a 10' inch display for transportation in mind. Good day!

Question, when I am using the Mediabang and Clip studio apps for drawing. I put the maximum correction or stabilization option for a smoother drawing but it's not working on Samsung Galaxy tab S8 or S9. May I ask why?
Apple Pencil sucks u are just a fan girl, Samsung has Wacom stylus so u can use multiple pencils if u don’t want spen which is miles better than Apple Pencil that feels like a chunk of plastic. Spen has it own unique feel I draw and paint and do digital art so it fits nothing I use feels like apple pencil unless I use some hard plastic for texture on painting i wouldn’t pain a whole canvas with it. That said apple apps are superior to Samsung and if they can come close I might just completely just switch instead of having both.

Im from Argentina, in my country the S6 lite is soo popular!, that is about 800dolars, consider Taxes, is about the same price as the best S7 (all included). So when deciding to buy a thing, the price and if its in sales, is a major factor. IF s9 would be not much afar from the price of s8, i would consider the first option. Also, in general, as we are a 3rd country we tend to buy things for lasting ages. So a not so good pc (that would be just enough for drawing) is a good choice for 5 years of drawing. I prefer to save lot of money for a year and spending it on a good and lasting product and dont worry about for 5 years+ We tend not to buy entry level stuff. Thats my two cents! Good day!

I have the galaxy s24 ultra and am thinking about getting the iPad pro for drawing. Would I be able to transfer my files and drawings over to my phone? Or am I going to have to switch over to apples ecosystem?!
You can but like in the old days, cable file transfer / sending it to your self / 3rd party sites you can upload to and download from... I'm also in the same dilemma (but for student reasons).

Samsung all the way, tried the Apple Pencil and absolutely hated it. Apple Pencil is one of the heaviest styluses on the market and because it's so thin it does nothing but hurting my fingers even if I use a silicon sleeve. Samsung has the advantage of being able to use cheaper third party styluses that run battery free which have given me the opportunity to make custom grips.
tbh, whatever android devices, no matter how powerfull that is... as long as procreate only available exclusively on ios, we artist will stick to it thou
Do you notice any lag in the pen input when drawing? I own the tab s7 and there is a noticeable lag especially in drawing apps. Its less so in samsung notes app. Wonder if they improved on that
@@GeekCulture You are definitely bias, promoting Apple products. Nobody is reporting lag issues neither with the S8 nor with the S9 line. You have to be objective in your reviews, that's what people are looking for. If you are used to a 10" screen, then say that and not that the S9 is not for digital artists. Even Clip Studio has a "simple mode" now in Android to precisely take advantage of the whole screen and then screen size, canvas size, etc. it's all a personal preference and there is no reason for you to give the S9 a bad review because you are immersed into the Apple ecosystem and marketing their products. And I'm an Apple boy, but the S9 line is just at the same level or above the expensive iPad Pro and its closed ecosystem. Always be OBJECTIVE, unless you're getting paid for this review.

This might be the first time ive seen a digital artist remove points for a screen being too big, especially when it isn't even as large as almost any professional digital drawing tablet for desktop.
The iPad Pro is best for digital creators, especially artists and animators. The iPad has the advantage of a wonderful app called Procreate. However, the price of the latest iPad Pro M4 will also give you a heart attack. So, people with weak hearts and weak budgets should think twice. If the budget is the problem and you are a novice in illustration and art, then the Samsung Tab S9 Ultra may satisfy you. But, if you are already in the Apple iPad ecosystem, switching to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is not a good idea.
@@Robinson.69 Ergonomics suck, there is a reason why most digital pen/display tablets have thicker and lighter styluses. Apple Pencil doesn't meet these design philosophies which makes it difficult to use for longer periods.

The lack of affinity designer/illustrator and fresco prevents me from getting the lovely S9. Shame eh… no decent vector apps on android.

Fyi, you dont need to charge it to write and draw. And it uses emr tech so you could use ANY emr pen/stylus.
Indeed, charging the pen is only required for the bluetooth air action feature.

I think the real rival of Tab S9 series is iPad Air, both specs and price wise. iPad Pros are at another level for another type of budget.

Elige el programa que mejor vaya con tu comodidad para dibujar. PS es mejor en Ipad que en android. La gente que no quiere dejar de usar photoshop, definitivamente va a elegir Ipad.

I have the galaxy s24 ultra and am thinking about getting the iPad pro for drawing. Would I be able to transfer my files and drawings over to my phone? Or am I going to have to switch over to apples ecosystem?!

You can but like in the old days, cable file transfer / sending it to your self / 3rd party sites you can upload to and download from... I'm also in the same dilemma (but for student reasons).

Samsung all the way, tried the Apple Pencil and absolutely hated it. Apple Pencil is one of the heaviest styluses on the market and because it's so thin it does nothing but hurting my fingers even if I use a silicon sleeve.
Samsung has the advantage of being able to use cheaper third party styluses that run battery free which have given me the opportunity to make custom grips.
tbh, whatever android devices, no matter how powerfull that is... as long as procreate only available exclusively on ios, we artist will stick to it thou

Do you notice any lag in the pen input when drawing? I own the tab s7 and there is a noticeable lag especially in drawing apps. Its less so in samsung notes app. Wonder if they improved on that

@@GeekCulture You are definitely bias, promoting Apple products. Nobody is reporting lag issues neither with the S8 nor with the S9 line. You have to be objective in your reviews, that's what people are looking for. If you are used to a 10" screen, then say that and not that the S9 is not for digital artists. Even Clip Studio has a "simple mode" now in Android to precisely take advantage of the whole screen and then screen size, canvas size, etc. it's all a personal preference and there is no reason for you to give the S9 a bad review because you are immersed into the Apple ecosystem and marketing their products. And I'm an Apple boy, but the S9 line is just at the same level or above the expensive iPad Pro and its closed ecosystem. Always be OBJECTIVE, unless you're getting paid for this review.

This might be the first time ive seen a digital artist remove points for a screen being too big, especially when it isn't even as large as almost any professional digital drawing tablet for desktop.
The iPad Pro is best for digital creators, especially artists and animators. The iPad has the advantage of a wonderful app called Procreate. However, the price of the latest iPad Pro M4 will also give you a heart attack. So, people with weak hearts and weak budgets should think twice. If the budget is the problem and you are a novice in illustration and art, then the Samsung Tab S9 Ultra may satisfy you. But, if you are already in the Apple iPad ecosystem, switching to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is not a good idea.

@@Robinson.69 Ergonomics suck, there is a reason why most digital pen/display tablets have thicker and lighter styluses. Apple Pencil doesn't meet these design philosophies which makes it difficult to use for longer periods.
