Great video on a subject I've ben exploring. I am curious; did you do the testing with fresh plugs? And if necessary I think you can drill and tap that fixed air bleed and install a jet.
I think my starting jets will be way rich at 72 and 295 Andrews A2, 8.5:1... guess its better to start off rich and lean it out...cool analyzer though... wished I had one...just got seat of the pants and read the plugs lol
...Although I commented before I saw your final results. Nice. Those air bypass stumbles are the downfall of many carb setups... Solve that and they're really close to EFI. I have an Innovate gauge kit... I'll let you know how the Lectron looks. @@delorean1
That meter is great. Even a wideband gauge would be very helpful -- but that meter is up a level.
The meter records everything everyone talks about but never sees.
Great video! It's great to see some tech aimed at the older machines. Do you think that you would have gone to the 66 main without the computer?
No, I would have stopped at the main jet prior.
Very good video!!! Thank you Sir!!
Glad you enjoyed it.

The plugs are cleaned up, and don’t have too many miles on them. There may be a way to add a jet as an air bleed, I plan to reach out to s&s on this.

Excellent
Thank you.
Ordering today, my shovelhead completely lacks the unreliability of a computer.
Get a Lectron carb! Mine is on the way (for an FLH Shovelhead).
I've been reading up on those.
