Great video JIM!!! I actually know how to check for bent prop shafts, just have never done it on my boat as I have not hit anything solid, or I don’t think I have. This got me to thing and a bent shaft can be caused by a stump, big root, or concrete ramp!!! I am going to check it out later today.
    Thanks for the video!!!!

Bent mine numerous times. I have a place that can straighten them to within specs.

Ya, I have heard they can be straightened, but I have never done it. Has your propshafts held up after straightening?

@@moynaghbassfishes3818 yes held up fine. I’ve had it done multiple times. They run a dial indicator on it to get it back within OEM specs. About $200 for them to do it as I remember. Much cheaper than a new prop shaft. Nettles Prop Shop in Austin Texas is where I have had it done. I’m a regular customer unfortunately.
