I am always impressed when a writer comes up with just the perfect name for a character. Not a name that actually makes some kind of logical sense or has a real reason behind it, but one that just somehow ... fits. "Clifford." Well chosen.
I like the way the aliens speak, employing such current colloquial expressions as "That works too" and "You good?" I guess that's to make their speech more comfortable to me.
