I'm almost 60 years old and I love a good, beautifully-written "children's book". Really, there are no age labels on literature. A good book is a good book. It makes me so sad when I'm out shopping and I hear a kid asking a parent to buy a book, and the parent says, no, that's a "baby book" which just shames the kid for being interested.
Yes, last year I decorated November 1st for Halloween but I’m planning to decorate right after thanksgiving or the first time it snows which I hope it isn’t till late winter lol
Yes! I love November! It is usually a peaceful month for me. And cold enough that you can snuggle into your woollies, but not so cold that you want to hide. Ps: I recommend a song called ‘Snow Falls in November’ by Julie Doiron. It is beautiful!
@@laurenbloom3158 I agree. I wish I wasn’t surrounded by Christmas as soon as Halloween is over. In my opinion, this behavior is driven by consumerism. It was all Christmas and Halloween products were in their sale corner already. Higgins, Olive, Oakley and Kena all get treats. Lol. I have candy for the human kids. Also, I'm 71 and still dress up every Halloween. I dance with a witch group at events. You are like my autumnal best friend!! 😄✨🍁🍄💖 This morning I watched your "old" perfect spooky day video for cozy Halloween-vibes & already got excited to rewatch the 'How to enjoy November' -one... Now this... THANK you❣️
You would LOVE Halloween on my street! Most of the houses decorate, we get on average 400 kids, and the police close our street to traffic. We also get featured on at least one TV station. I always have plenty of hot mulled cider and snacks for our family and friends who join us for the festivities. Also, peak foliage was late here in Maine as well. Picnicking in a graveyard was a typical Sunday afternoon activity for families in the late 1800 early 1900 as some cemeteries doubled as parks - and it was a way to spend time with family members who passed.
