    Good video. Used to supplement Ford Performance instructions. One big mistake in the video is the the toe -link to frame cam adjustment adjuster bolts torque is not 203 lb ft. It is 129 lb ft. Check the instructions. You’ll see this in section 13 page 28. Illustrated on page 29.

    Removing and installing the toe link bushing is not as easy as it show here. The rental kits also dont have a correct diameter fittings. If i had to do this again, have a dealer do it.

    Do you know what the difference is between the Track handling kit (M-FR3A-M8A) and a PP2 Mustang? Besides the magnaride .. I have a 2020 Mustang GT PP1 and had the suspension upgraded to the kit aforementioned ... Thank you Sir

    Are the toe link bushings the same as stock on pp1? I know you said the links are but is this a step you could skip if you have a performance pack?

    • @latemodelrestoration
      @latemodelrestoration  3 года назад

      Hey Joseph, the stock PP1 bushings are the same as the performance track pack. If you plan on installing this kit, we do recommend swapping them out when you do.

    • @josephbargo5024

      @@latemodelrestoration So if it's the same, why?
      Also, I read the new kits come with replacement fasteners for the single-use fasteners you remove. Is this true?
      Thanks for the response!

    • @latemodelrestoration
      @latemodelrestoration  3 года назад

      It's a good rule of thumb to swap them out while you're completing the install. Having new bushings and using them is always best practice. And yes, that is true about the fasteners.

    Great video! I am doing the install and am wondering if my bushings need changed. I have a base model ecoboost with 3,000mi so my bushings are practically new. Are they the same? Thank you.

    Bought this kit for my 2020 GT/CS....wondering if everyone is just reusing the stock swaybar end links or upgrading those as well to aftermarket adjustable end links for the front and rear??....Looking to set the car up for road course racing so my alignment will be more on the aggressive side vs neutral.

    • @latemodelrestoration
      @latemodelrestoration  3 года назад +1

      Hey Kimberly, you can reuse the stock sway bar end links but upgrading is also a great option if you plan to track the car often. Feel free t give us a call at 1-866-507-3786 or email us with the link below. Thanks! - lmr.com/contact

    Will this pack need caster camber plates or it won’t have any problems with alignment?

    • @latemodelrestoration
      @latemodelrestoration  3 года назад

      Hi Bryan,
      You won't run into any issues if you don't install a set of caster camber plates. However, we do recommend them to have a wide amount of adjustability when aligning your car.

    First, thanks for making this video. Much faster than the Ford procedure.
    Regarding the rear sway bar. I have a 2016 mustang GT. I have a set of Kooks long tubes installed and due to this, the driver side exhaust is making contact with the rear sway bar after it heats up. My exhaust is the FP Borla kit. Have you guys dealt with the problem on other installs? I likely need to find room by hammering the exhaust as far forward as I can, but seeing if there's anything else to consider. The sway bar is configured in the softer setting.

      Ever get anything figured out? If not we can connect on Facebook and I can help, I’ve done sway bars and exhaust countless times on S550s.

      @DonPatr0L 4 года назад

      @@andrewhuff9294 I spent a couple hours last weekend hammering as much space as I could. Maybe got another couple mm by moving the connections forward. I'm going to an Autox event this weekend which will tell me if it worked. Worst case ill probably have to cut a small amount off the header elbows that link to the exhaust clamps. Thats the only spot I'm seeing that will give me the space. FP won't respond to my emails so assuming this is one of those oops designs :)
