At time-index 3:04 in this video, when replacing the cabin filter cover, the installer-person inserts and then tightens the first screw on the right before inserting and starting the second screw on the left. When doing ANY type of installation work--whether on vehicles or home projects or anything--it is a very good idea to insert and *start* ALL screws/bolts into place before actually tightening any of them down. This makes it easier to align the screw/bolt through the holes and properly "catch" the threads on the receiving side. In some cases this is not just a good idea but absolutely necessary to prevent stripping the threads. Always insert all the screws/bolts, secure them only slightly--not even too hand-tight--then go through all of them and secure them tightly. By the way, this technique is an absolute requirement when installing a new head on an engine. Best wishes!

The 2005-2006 Chevy Tahoe does not have a cabin filter available as a factory option. With the redesigned HVAC case, there is no longer a cavity for the filter. The GM parts catalog indicates there is a replacement filter available; however, there is no provision for it.
