- Audi Q7 2007-2015 Blower Motor: amzn.to/3sbKAQz
- Torx Bit Set (with SHORT HANDLE to fit inside glove box): amzn.to/49mA5KL
- Socket Wrench Set (Metric) with Spinner Handle & Extensions: amzn.to/3SnE5Vd
It's more affordable to get the Socket Wrench Set above which includes the socket set, spinner handle, and the extensions, but if all you need is the handle or extension, I'll provide below:
- Spinner Handle (i.e. Screwdriver handle for 1/4" Socket): amzn.to/43vBpsn
- Socket Extension Bar Set: amzn.to/4arZXoq
This video shows how to remove and replace the interior blower motor fan that powers the air conditioning (A/C) and Heater in a 2007-20015 Audi Q7. You'll know it's bad if the A/C or Heater makes a squeaky or rattling noise, or just stops working.

Thanks, perfect walk through. Works like a charm. Cheers! 🍻
Thanks for watching!
The procedure you demonstrated worked perfectly. I ordered the blower from your link, got it in a couple of days, and installing it went smoothly. Thanks - this was very helpful.
Love to hear it! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
Thanks man! Helped me! 2013 paid 93 on Amazon up in Canada. Works perfect now right before the cold weather hits!
Glad it helped.... Thanks for watching!
Thank you. Very nice step by step demonstration
You are welcome!
Appreciate the Help, your Video helped me out a lot. Straight & direct.
Glad it did the job!
Great video and narration. Easy fix on a Saturday morning. Only difference in my 2013 was that the 7 bolts holding on the blower motor were 5.5mm. I had never used that size before but my socket set had one and it fit better that the 6mm.
Glad it helped, and thanks for sharing that tip! If anyone has a 5.5MM, make sure you try that first
Nice, clearly shot video. Thanks.

Very good video. Thanks for making it. I replaced the blower motor in my 2015 Q7. It took me 1 hr and 5 min. I used a T-20 torx (6 screws) & 7/32 socket (7 screws). I would recommend a 6" extension for the socket. Tip: Move the passenger seat as far back as it will go.

Great stuff. Thanks a lot. Was a pain without an extension on my socket but it worked out fine lol.
Glad it helped!
Thanks a lot for the great info. T blower motor looks easy for anyone to do. Audi wanted $800.!
Glad to help!

Great video shared 👍
My B pillar air vent doesn't have much air coming out even on the max.
Does it help by replacing the blower motor?
Might replace your air filter first if you haven't done so already.. But then yes, replacing the blower might be helpful!
nice video.
Thank you!
Hi! Thanks for the video. Might have to replace mine on a 2009, but am not sure it needs it. I hear it running. Air does come out, but very weak! Could this be sign of it being bad, in your opinion?
Yes, having previously replaced mine 2 times, it sounds like you need a new one... but don't worry, you can do this!
Thanks 🔥💪🏽
You're welcome!
Thanks really useful. Would you not recommend removing the fuse for the motor first?
That's probably not a bad idea...! I had no problems though.
How about a 2019
Sorry, I only owned a 2013... I've never tried it on a newer Q7.
Based on this video and the other video I saw, I don't see why anyone takes the glove box out.
Let us know if that works!
