God Bless you Sir hope you are better soon! Love the writing you are doing with your older uploaded videos. The commentary gives me a laugh. God Bless you and best wishes from Jays maintenance LLC!
As always, amazed at your strength, Kev - I used be able heft these 'boxes around, I can't these days - not a hope.Too old. I also get a lot of heavy-duty stuff to do - 4*4's & sprinter/vito vans etc - no way am I lifting those boxes using the body - ain't happening. Landcruiser springs to mind - that 'box is insanely heavy. I also work off axle stands like you. What I did to get past that was to modify a real heavy duty trolley jack - I kept it very simple, just welded a piece of 8mm flat plate to it - plate is 40cm long by 15cm wide. I use bits of timber to get whatever funky profile the gearbox has to sit on the plate & a ratchet strap to clamp the 'box to it. It was a jack I always hated because it's so heavy - now I love it. Using the jack, I can lower & lift any gearbox I want - even lorry 'boxes. Plus because I welded the plate on so it sticks out all the way off the lifting cup, I can turn the 'box any way I like for replacing release bearings etc etc. It makes what was a nightmare pretty easy. I'll post a vid of it on my crappy little channel tomorrow - have a look. You don't need one now, but in a bit when the body gets less robust, you might. It takes the sheer physical grunt of lowering/lifting out of the equation without costing much. I priced dedicated low-height transmission jacks & they are either crap or silly money - my versions nice to work with. I used laugh at transmission jacks - wasn't a box going I couldn't lift - but as time marches on, that ability fades.

I'm liking these early videos with written commentary.
You could talk us through what you are doing from now on....or, as my preference would be, use a topless model to talk us through the process.
Thanks for the feedback 🍻🍻🍻
