I follow a lot of different motovloggers and motorcycle channels, some much larger than yours, yet the only channel that I'll watch every upload on is yours. I know all about the z125 but I didn't hesitate clicking on this video. I don't know specifically what it is man, but you are doing something very, very right. Keep up the great content!
I have seen these bikes around.Really cool...There sharp..I been riding motorcycles all my Life..The Highway killed me..Balls man..I would stick to the Roads..Highway No...I hear these bikes are getting pretty popular..Hey..for messing around..Have fun..I'm getting up there in age..I don't no...I'm thinking about it.. Great video😁👍✌️
I own a 2017 Z125 bought new. I have about 11,000 miles on it. The stator went bad around 10k miles, that was the biggest expense. Also new chain and new set of brakes and a new rear tire at around 9k miles (front badly needs doing too). Oil change every 1000 miles or so and a filter change every other oil change. Very cheap to run, get about 90 mpg, oil filter is like $3, new chain was $9. The stator however was $300+ CAD at the dealership; bought a used one for about half that. Sometimes I pine for a bigger bike, but then I ride it and immediately change my mind. Insurance in Canada is absurd, and I’m 38; some 250s can be a little cheaper tho. Happy riding!
To go faster get in a tuck position. Had my Grom up to 72 coming off a draft and going down a hill. Can’t wait to upgrade the suspension and tires. Maybe if I would of bought a z wouldn’t need to upgrade suspension. I’m loving my Grom most fun bike I’ve ever owned.
Nice. And I look forward to seeing the 2019 Honda Grom video when you make it. I also like hearing the names of places/cities that I'm now far removed from now, but still familiar with. :)
I have the green z125 pro, a 2017 model in Australia second hand Don'e 6000km & cost me $3800.00 I made a custom rack bolts on under the tail tidy, Sam pattern 4 bolts plus 2 stabiliser rods either side just above the indicators , that bolt on behind the rear foot pegs in the chain guard bolt hole same thread longer bolt, secured with a nylon locknut on the other side, I'm handy with a welder, better & stronger than a bought rack. I have a 32 L Ventura box on it, or I shange out the front part & can put twin Ventura bags on it. I secured one on the rack & the other one zips to it over the pillion seat, usb & phone mount on the handlebars & a helmet lock. I won't put a tank bag on it as I don't want to trash the tank. I call it my grocery go-getter Even though i own a car & a Yamaha MT03. I'm on my first tank of fuel 155 km, indicating 1/2 a tank. Is there a warning light when the fuel gets low?
Fun bike fun video to watch. Is this bike faster or better than the Grom? I should have watched this one first then your Grom video. Yet another great video😀👍
I used to get 107 or 109 mpg the first 3 thousand miles. But then I used bigger tires put extra weight and accessories and hurt the economy... also increased redline and power. Hopefully when I reduce rolling resistance decrease weight and improve compression I can get back the fuel economy. The most I got was 136.7mpg running lean. There is lots of potential and even with a super dirty clogged filter I was getting 83mpg redlining every gear.
Yes buddy it is a very good starter bike the kawasaki site has level ratings on their site and this was considered a starter bike and plus if you are a teen 16 and under 125 cc is a very good starter
Fucking loved the go pro selfie stick angles you included! Shit was fucking dope you got a subscriber out of this! I Have been strongly considering the z125 as my first bike to commute within the city for work and school and this video has definitely leaned me more towards purchasing one.
Love this bike my neighbor let's me borrow it all the time he's got a Ducati but there's something about it..this bike rides like a Cadillac not bad for 4 speeds its so fun
Most states this size bike is not allowed on the highway legally. In Ct minimum cc allowed on highways is a 250cc. You can spend over a grand on after market stuff but you will only gain 1 Hp. Unless you put a big bore kit on it leave it stock
There seems to be some mystery around the horsepower of this great little machine. Geek that I am I found some information on the EPA website, a spreadsheet of all U.S. market motorcycles. They show the Z125 pro at 7.1 KW, and the Grom at 7.2 . That translates to 9.4 and 9.5 HP respectively. EPA doesn't give torque figures. Z125 service manual also states 7.1 KW. Some articles talk about dyno testing results but then you get into all sorts of variables.
BENELLI TNT135..... should be your next vid.... And you can pick the TNT and Z up for around 500 to 800 cheaper if you grab new previous year model while they are in stock.
A zoom exhaust, chimera intake, pcv with autotuner. I hit 69 yesterday. It seems to get faster as the more miles I put on it. I now have just over 2000 miles.
I’m having a hard time deciding between this and a Grom. I’ve heard Groms have alot more aftermarket options but it’s been acouple years now so I’m guessing it’s probably pretty close by now. I’ll probably just buy whatever I can get a better deal on. I just really wanna start riding and I think this is perfect to start on plus my ride to work is 30min, all back roads along the ocean (twistys). This would be perfect and alot of fun!
I hate when they’re advertising it for a certain price then they add over $1000 out the door , like the Honda Navi , they say it’s $1801 but really it’s about $2500
Yeah man...for $5000 you can get much more motorcycle on the used market. I bought a used Z125 last year for $2400 and probably wouldn't think about paying more than $2500, as fun as it is to ride. Dealerships and their fee's kill me ever walking into a dealership and buying a new motorcycle. Always used market for me.
I'm from DC living in Southern MD . Its great to find a DMV channel 💯💪🏾

Dude!! Thank you so much! It’s comments like these that give me the energy to keep pushing!
Seriously his vlogs and reviews are great!
He is sexy 🥰
Oh my god, your 495 entrance was about to give me a heart attack.
Awesome bike I just got mine yesterday 2019 love it

Thanks for going on the highway!! Now I don't have to😆😆 that was scary just watching it😳

Good to know! Yeah I was pinned the whole time haha
I also hit 72 on my Grom for split second going down a slight hill, and I weight 190lbs, it was super fun but scary at the same time on a Grom. Lol
shoei07 Same. It’s the most fun bike I’ve ever had. I would choose it over my R6. I went 72 with my grom when I was going down hill in my town.
That's declutched....
Nice. And I look forward to seeing the 2019 Honda Grom video when you make it.

Great video! What's the backpack you have on? it's awesome!
Great video dude. Thanks for the review.

Just learned how to ride thinking of getting one. Thanks for the video.
What kind of boots are you wearing ?
I tried mine on the highway. It was a rush merging at maxed out speed with a semi coming up behind me.
cool bike. I'm looking forward to getting one.

Also my top speed record was 72mph but I still am looking to get more performance out of it without boring out.
Would you recommend this bike for a beginner? Because I’ve been wanting to get into riding for the longest time I just don’t know where to start.
Yes buddy it is a very good starter bike the kawasaki site has level ratings on their site and this was considered a starter bike and plus if you are a teen 16 and under 125 cc is a very good starter
Especially if youve never ridden a bike before

Would this make a good extra motorcycle for me at 5-11 to run around town but keeping my other bikes?
I just purchased my 2018 z in candy permissian red has fender eliminator kit integrated taillight aftermarket exhaust sounds awesome
Nice Hip displacement. That selfiestick really makes that bike look huge! lol
AWESOME VIDEO. I will buy one.
I'm going to buy this! :)
So cool!!
Nice video, want one

Is there a way to get more speed out of the bike??
Good video deciding between this and the zuma 50f because it has storage and insurance a little cheaper
You gay if you get a scooter
@@wolfseek and you're an ass if you don't consider everything that they are looking for
How old do you have to be to ride one?
is this good to 4'10?
In Australia I'm having some trouble getting an airfilter.
Not alot of riders out here on YT 😞

What's up man. New to your channel. Local guy. Let's ride some time
is this good for 5'2 in height?
Yes! Although it has a higher than expected seat height, it's so narrow that you shouldn't have too many issues with getting feet down.
My wife is 5”2 and it fits her like a glove.
Here we go OMG😕
I get an average of over 110 mpg with my 2017 z125 pro, and a top speed of 68 mph.
What mods do you have on it?
A zoom exhaust, chimera intake, pcv with autotuner. I hit 69 yesterday. It seems to get faster as the more miles I put on it. I now have just over 2000 miles.
Trickmustang 1994 love that comment makes me feel better about getting this than a 300cc bike, altho Im 6’2 so I might top at 64mph with them mods lol
I really would like to see that bike with a 6 speed trans in it.
5 speed
can you just say "one twenty-five" like everyone else?

I chose the z for the cheaper out the door price then used the difference for aftermarket parts of which there is no shortage of at all anywhere
I have a z400 and it's seat height is only 30.9 inches...
Sit on it lowers it
Damn man I would be scare but also I done it on my ruckus
It was very sketchy
I live 5 min from colemans. Got same bike lets ride!!
Yeah, I thought motor driven cycles were not allowed on the interstate...lol
It's not illegal in every state. It is stupid in any state though
Its not a motor bicycle silly head
Every dealership in NY wants $1,500-$1,800 over sticker. The bike is $3,199. Total is $4900-$5200!!! Wtf

That's just shy of how tall I am, so yes!
I'm 5'4" and it's easily manageable.
