Thanks for the feedback. I think you are right on about the exhaust. It is solid. I think this election will be talked about for a very long time. Politics aside, the media and social media is America’s problem, not any politician.

Lol..your talking their throwing the sponge and rags on the ground and then you see them washing the car. Anyway, beautiful car I'm considering buying one that's cool the kids actually want to participate in washing it but anyway nice video keep'em coming 🇺🇸 MURICA
The 760HP and the front area of the car is why I chose the GT500 over the GT350. I used to be Chevy guy until the 2020 GT500 came out. The Camaro to me had a more aggressive look from the front than the GT350. The GT500 changed all that with a very aggressive looking front.
@@lmjames33 - Give me a break. It’s a ultra-quick Tremec 7-speed dual-speed transmission. Only a gay person will call it an automatic. You must be thinking about a Prius or some electric car that YOU might drive. There are women in this world that can put you to shame rolling through their gears. The GT500 > GT350 in every way possible. - TBH - 😂
All of your reasons are totally compelling for purchasing a 350 over a 500. Given a choice though, it is reason #1 - That flat plane crank Voodoo motor is worth the price of the car. I know because I purchased a 2016 Shelby GT 350 a couple of years ago and whenever I drive it I have a smile on my face. That engine is unreal especially as you approach higher rpms. No doubt the 500 is a very special vehicle but no way will I pay a dealer a markup for a car. That is like taking a blow torch to your cash. And, when I look at the 500's interior I just scratch my head. The whole purpose of purchasing a vehicle like this is to enjoy the driving experience and get engaged with the car. How do you do that with an automatic? Sorry. And, the lame ass selector knob just looks out of place in a car like the 500. How often are you going to the track? Maybe a lot but that can get super costly real quick. The 350 is a wonderful daily driver. Tramlining is a bit of an issue but not much. You made the right choice and I wish you many miles of great driving ahead. By the way, those are two super duper kids you have. They deserve something special for how well they worked cleaning your wheels especially. My ride is the same color and it always draws positive comments from others.
Man I’m glad you watched this video Stephen. I am adding a link to a playlist of 3 videos that we just put out. Watch them all three oldest to newest and let me know what you think. Don’t give up on the 2nd video.

I think all 15 - 20 GT350s are considered fastbacks. The big difference is the standard GT350 versus the GT350R. The R is more track focused and has a carbon wheels, no back seats, larger front splitter, red badging and accents, and is overall just a more raw car. Both are extremely fun to drive.
If you're going to actually take the car to the track I would say get the R. If you want pretty much the same experience but are going to just drive it on the street for fun the non-R car is all you'll ever need.
I also did the same thing I got a great deal on a 2020 Shelby GT350 heritage addition with Recaro seats. I will be Installing Whipple gen 5 supercharger kit / kook's headers ,corsa exhaust, pulley kit, Mantic 9000 twin disc clutch . I know you 2020 GT500 owners are like what you put in to the the GT350 you could have built a nice GT500, but I wouldn't have that 6 speed manual. I have owned 2 Shelley GT500's 2009 & 2014 Awesome cars but big and bulky just wanted something lighter and handle better. I never buy the 1st year of a redesigned vehicle there Is always problems with the first few years of a new redesigned model. The 2020 Shelby GT350 is perfection of the Mustang . #savethemanuals

One guy didn’t know I was being funny and thought I was abusing the kids... I forget that when we get new viewers they don’t know our sense of humor yet.
Both cars have their meritts but i agree, ide opt for the GT350, and R if possible. Then ide add back the tech package. The GT350 is the balanced racer, moreover the more exotic engine. Also with it being a manual, and an incredibly great manual at that, its the cars thats far more engaging, the true drivers car. Sorry flappy paddle people but a stick in a mustang is just glory unbound. The connection between man and machine is something that only true car lovers understand. ANd your just not going to get that in a flappy paddle vehicle. So what we have with the GT350 over the 500 will be one of the last and one of the greatest drivers cars, as the manuals are going the way of the dodo. The shelbys are cars you keep. I know from the purchase of my very first car, a 96 crystal white SaleenS281 speedster. Much like the Shelby GT350, the S281 took all the prowess of Saleen Racing DNA built from actual US an European GT class endurance racing. Long before the Shelby came back on the scene, Saleen took that torch and ran with it. Impressivle beating the likes of Ferrari Porsche Viper Corvette back in the day, when most people still only saw mustangs as street light drag racers at best. But the Saleens were much much more than that. Its taken 16 years for ford to Finally get it right from factory.
Thanks for laying it out so well! I appreciate you checking out the channel and being so thorough in the comments. You will want to see the wrap design going on this car that should drop tomorrow. Here is the first of two exhaust videos we did. ruclips.net/video/Udn3GEOByvY/видео.html

Lmao love the clips of humor. I second military school. Keep up the great work and thank you for inspiring me towards a 350. What are your thoughts on having it as a daily driver?
My only thought would be it’s a little inconvenient to eat in and shift and text and drive but I shouldn’t be doing anything but driving anyway. This car makes you drive it. As long as you can sacrifice a little convenience you will love it. Check our what we have done to the exhaust. It’s the video named Best Sounding Mustang

U talking facts bro! (Edit: Shout out to ur wife holding the script for u :) )
Lol..your talking their throwing the sponge and rags on the ground and then you see them washing the car. Anyway, beautiful car I'm considering buying one that's cool the kids actually want to participate in washing it but anyway nice video keep'em coming 🇺🇸 MURICA
Thanks for watching Marty! They certainly love cars and youtube.
I'm so love it!!
I will buy it in three years!😤
Love the smooth shifting
It sounds 100% like America 😂 couldn’t have described it better myself
The 760HP and the front area of the car is why I chose the GT500 over the GT350. I used to be Chevy guy until the 2020 GT500 came out. The Camaro to me had a more aggressive look from the front than the GT350. The GT500 changed all that with a very aggressive looking front.
Amen to everything you just said.
Hell no..... plus the GT500 is automatic. That is super gay tbh
- TBH - 😂
Save the manual. I like that
What’s up with the right brake light when you start it up?
Probably just the LED’s and the camera not agreeing.
Number 1... enough said.
I couldn’t agree more. Have you seen this video where we add exhaust? It rips!

@@BackroadDriver It's good stuff! I'll keep my eyes and ears open when I'm out.
Great Video!!!! Very entertaining and True!!! Thank you! Liked and Subscribed!
Thanks for watching! Got some crazy stuff in store for this car. Did you see my videos on The Wolf? Our 750 HP F150
🤣👍👍 these kids make the video
Greatest car ever.
Wait til you see the wrap we have planned. Sneak peek coming this weekend in a video. Did you see the exhaust video?
ruclips.net/video/Udn3GEOByvY/видео.html
You only need one reason. Manual.
The more I drive it, the more I love it.
I really can't believe this is your first manual trans car, at any rate better late than never. Hahahah canceling Christmas ☃️🎄
For look alone, I'd get this over its sibling
You are the mannnnn!!!!!!
I want the gt350 is it worth the extra for the fastback?
I think all 15 - 20 GT350s are considered fastbacks. The big difference is the standard GT350 versus the GT350R. The R is more track focused and has a carbon wheels, no back seats, larger front splitter, red badging and accents, and is overall just a more raw car. Both are extremely fun to drive.
@@BackroadDriver I appreciate the feedback.. mhm what would you recommend. I want a manual
If you're going to actually take the car to the track I would say get the R. If you want pretty much the same experience but are going to just drive it on the street for fun the non-R car is all you'll ever need.
Nothing sounds better than a gt350 high in the rpm’s
How much u get yours for?
How many miles btw Thomas
I thought the last gt350 was 2019
It was a 2020
Cat delete? What exhaust system?
God bless America brother. Great video. I want a GT350 For all these reasons. Thank you

Love ur sense of humor. Awsome dad to
One guy didn’t know I was being funny and thought I was abusing the kids...

@@BackroadDriver Ha! Must be nice!
Dude! We are on cloud 9! Gotta get the Shelby content growing to be able to keep them.
The gt350 doesn’t have the scare factor of the sheer power on the gt500
It does with the Hennessey HPE 850!
Which Oakleys are you wearing?
I want one but I settled with a '07 GT500 cant afford one yet.
The manual transmission is the only reason you need to buy this over the GT500.
IQ45 approves of this video!!
I love the sound of a mustang
It will be a sad day when they produce the last V8. I will always own one. They will have to pry the keys from my cold dead hand.
Reason #3.
The End.
(I have the convenience pack with heated/cooled seats... totally worth it man)
You forgot. The GT350 is just the prettier car. And yes. I have one.
Awesome!
so it's a track car? how do it compare to other $70k track cars?
We ended up buying a GT500 as well. Now we can compare the two.
It has a motor and not a combustion engine?
I assume motor and engine are the same thing.
@@BackroadDriver
It's old mechanic humor. A motor is powered by electricity an engine is powered by combustion of air and fuel.
I hear ya. Then both the GT350 and 500 have engines.
100% Facts
I’m happy with my gt500
I ended up buying a GT500. Just sold the 350. Lots of videos on the channel about that process
@@BackroadDriver oh yea I'm thinking of getting a shelby super snake but I'm not sure
@@mrcarguy6719 I’d drop to the GT350 if you were to change
I will own this car someday soon.. Unfo for me it will cost way more than 60k$... it will come out to roughly $160k for me including import duties.. and an extra 8k$ per year of taxes :P
Wow! That is crazy. What country are you going to import it to?

If you are thinking boost/power down the line.... Check out Fathouse Fabrications. They do some amazing work. I would definitely get the GT350 myself!! In couple years, once my finances are golden for one, I'll have to see what's on the market new/used.
I love watching their builds! We will probably do a progressive build on this car. The truck was pretty quick. We are about to turn up power on the truck. The GT350 can’t still be balanced with more than 800 RWHP. Moderation is golden in this case.
