Hey nice one mate. I do like the look of the build on this one but as you know crawlers aren't my most favourite thing to actually drive so I'll be interested to see how it goes. Look forward to seeing how the body comes out as it's a nice looking truck. Hope you are having a good weekend mate. Best wishes 😁👍
Hi there Pete. Yeah I know you don't like 'em slow, but I just tried this with the high speed gear setting and it's bloody quick, even did a wheelie and a stoppie in the garden!!! Should be a ton of fun racing Rob! But yes it was a lovely, fiddly build, I really enjoyed making a chassis that's a bit different to the usual buggies and rally cars. Not looking forward to that bodywork though mate! Weekend was good thanks, hope this week is treating you well. Cheers! 🍻😎👍
A double dose of Mr. Mark this weekend. Excellent! 🎸 🎸 🎸 I'm happy to see you getting on with the CC02. I think k you're gonna over this little rig. Small, but very capable. 😊
Rock on Fil - yes a double dose indeed! I finally got my finger out and got back in the editing chair! I'm loving this rig so far but with the high gearing it flies! As fast as my rally cars! 😅😬👍
G'day our awesome Mukka👩🤠. She's looking pretty spiffy mate👌. I know I've said it before but those diffs look nice👍. Thanks for showing your build and how to Cobber👌. Have a fantastic week from Sheila and Bruce👧😁🦘🇦🇺
G'day Sheila and Bruce! Spiffy, yeah I like that word my awesome Cobber and Cobbess! I think the diffs are beefy enough for the job on this truck mate! Thanks for the awesome watching and commenting my friends. May your week be happy and bright! Cheers! 😎🐨🤘👍
Thanks Dom - yep, the little test I had in the garden was really nice... it's a bit TOO fast though with the high gearing, it pulls wheelies and does stoppies! :P
Congrats! 🍻 im glad you didn't get the rubbish CC-01 tyres like I did on my CC-02! That notwithstanding, this kit was a pleasure to build. I hope you got the same enjoyment from it as I did. Can't wait to see how you mount the body! For a change, I just went with classic posts and clips on mine.
Nice clean build, Mark 👍 And those oil shocks are nice to see. I suspect those springs might be a little stiff for climbing and crawling up hills, but you could always tune it or take them out!
Many thanks pal! Yes the shocks are lovely and smooth, the truck is pretty heavy and to be fair the spring rates feel good on the little test I did - a nice bit of "sag" as you place the truck on the ground. All the best! 😎👍
It's really a goodlooking chassis, this one... I'm enjoying your build guide, especially seeing the parts up close, they do seem to have a quality feel to them... My own CC-02 build is still pending, but I saw some good news the other day, seems Tamico has a chassis-only build kit, so since I have body and wheels already sorted, might be a good option for me... Let's see when and if I man up for this, he he... At least for now I can enjoy it being built on video.
Cool, thanks Mads, I agree it's pretty cool! Definitely up there in quality, too. That Tamico deal sounds just right for you, hope you can get it as I know you'll enjoy the build as much as I did. Come on, you don't need to man-up, you just need to drum up the required big lump of cash! Thanks again my good friend, I hope all is good with you. :)
Well mate, that all came together rather nicely. What a lovely chassis. Those designers and engineers at Tamiya really are a clever bunch of chaps. As always I'm looking forward to your shell build - can't wait to see what you come up with. Are you planning on velcro or magnets (or some other method) to fix on the bodyshell? Whatever you do it will definitely add to the realism, and RC's like this will certainly benefit from that. Hope you add a driver at some stage too. Great build series pal...👊👍🏻🙂.
Thanks as always pal! I agree the design of this chassis is excellent (apart from the servo position, that was a bit annoying!) Not sure about the body mounts, I need to get it cut out and have a test fit, but I prefer velcro if it's possible. Not looking forward to the painting though as I'm gonna try and use paint instead of all the black decals. An interior would be the finishing touch mate! All the best. 😎🤝👍
Nice build Mark, hope you enjoy it as much as i do , but let me just say( you probably already know) get some other wheels and tyers from ali , the original's are not the best .
Thanks! I gave the chassis a little test in the garden and was very pleased with the way it ran, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Thanks for the heads up, yeah I think I need a softer set of tyres for a little crawling later! Cheers!
Great walk through of all the steps! it is looking like a truck now and I am looking forward to seeing the body on it!
Thanks Addam! Yes this feels like a quality kit now it's all together and ready to roll. I'm dreading the bodywork though mate! 😬 👍
@@MarkBryanRC It does take a while, I am sure you will nail it though!
@@AddamsPlayground Thanks buddy, I plan to paint all the black parts on the outside instead of using stickers, fingers crossed it goes OK!

Hi rhere! Paul here again, watching with a coffee.
Thanks my American brother! Hope it was high in caffeine! 😁👍
It'll be fun to see you and Rob run this together 📺
Thanks Are, only the bodywork to do and then we can do that double CC02 run! Cheers! 🍻😎👍
Nice job Mark. Can't await to see it run.
You and me both, can't wait to run it! Thanks a bunch, Dirk!

Brilliant job Mark. Keep up the good work. Take care 😊
Thanks my lovely! You are keeping my views and view-time up there and I really appreciate it Kim! 🤩👍

Looks like a really good build, can't wait to see the body shell done!!
Thanks Barry, yeah it's a lovely kit to build! Just started the body and OMG 😲 it's twice the work of doing the chassis!
Nice work Mark, good detailed build there.
Thanks Tony, it's a great kit and a different type of build than usual for me! Cheers!👍
I look forward to seeing this one in action, thanks for your upload mate 👍🙏🐱
Thanks for always watching and commenting, Cat! 🐈⬛ Hopefully not long until it's finished mate! 🤞😎👍
Awesome looking build Mark.... I cant wait to see it done!!!
Thanks mate - it was a nice kit to put together, but I'm bricking it for the bodywork, such a lot more fiddly bits to do! ATB my friend! 😎👍
Very nice sore this kit I my local rc shop body shell looks to be very detailed 😎👍
Hi Chris, yep the body is one of the most detailed I've seen and with lots of bolt on plastic parts, it's gonna be a lot of work, pal! 😎👌👍

Thanks Carmine, yeah I'm loving this kit so far.👍
@@MarkBryanRC It's worlds better than the CC-01.... still not a real crawler, but enjoyable off-road.
@@CarmineRC Yes, I had a little try in the garden with it and it runs very smoothly! :)

@@MarkBryanRC Yep ingot mine from injora ( ali express) and some brass wheel hups
You made a mistake the curse of filming a build 🙂That rear bumper is strange, but then the blanking screws in the rear axle.
Sway bar mount maybe?
Oh yes Mal, I hold my hands up! I usually make many more mistakes but go back and re-film! Always something weird on a Tamiya build mate! 😎👍
I think they are alternate shoch mounts pal!?!?!?! 😎👍
@@MarkBryanRC If I do the odd mistake I leave them in to see if anyone spot them. Sometimes they do 🙂
