Bloody hell, Mark. It's not for a lack of trying now, is it? I mean, you literally had me laughing out loud with all the Mc45's. Then Mc40, then that sassy Mc42 reared it's ugly head, only to be followed up by a McRUN OVER!!! What the actual???????? Did that SUV just keep cruising along? Dude, driving back with those wobbly wheels and the banter was too much, I lost it! Almost fell out of my chair laughing! And then..... ANOTHER Mc45!!!! We know what your least favorite number is now, don't we? Lol! Thank you so much for the effort, pal. I mean, 45 after 45 until... Well... You know... The 2024 SRC claims another victim. (insert "Jaws" music here)...
Tell me about it Fil!!! Oh yes I tried and tried, I put so much effort into this - each time it was not just the same setup, always a different motor, gearing or ESC and on different days. That's what made it so frustrating, so many different setups and exactly the same speed!?!?! 😅👍The Mc42 was with a 12T Absima B-Spec. I was gonna include all that info in the video but it just ended up being too long so I cut it all out... But yeah, I think it was a learner driver in the SUV, that's the peril of running in a public space... it was bound to happen eventually. Haha, 😂 It was actually comedy gold for the video with the wobbly wheels, I should actually thank the crappy driver for doing me a favour!!! And the punchline??? Yep, another Bloody 45 - you just couldn't make this sh!t up!!!!! It was awesome being involved in the SRC this year and you did an awesome job arranging it all. Thanks a ton and take care, brother! 😎🙏👍
Ohhhhhh nooooooo!!!😭.....🤣 It got squished😂 What a sad but somehow spectacularly funny way to finish😳 And alllll you wanted was 1 more McMile an hour. We're sincerely sorry for you and thank you from the bottom of our RC spare parts box for all of your fun video's and awesome attempts in Poor Boys challenge Cobber. Congratulations our Mukka🏁🍻. Hugs and considerations from Sheila and Bruce down under 👍👩🤠🦘🇦🇺
I'm afraid it's a terrible OOhhhhhh Yessssss! 😭It certainly did get squished, my Aussie brother and sister! Definitely funny looking back at it, it actually made for a quite dramatic ending! 😂 Thank you so much 😁 for following along and all the wonderful support along the way. It wouldn't be the same without my favourite Aussie Cobbers! All the best to you, my friends Bruca and Sheila! 😎🙏👊👍
@@MarkBryanRC It was really sad but funny as can be , we still feel bad for laughing hehe👹. Our pleasure our awesome brother!, we didn't get to follow anywhere near as many as we'd like to buy we love to bits watching you and McRobster ripping it up, the highs and the sad but funny loss were great👍. Thanks to you and McRobster for all your efforts start to finish Cobber🙏. Hugs from Sheila and Bruce from Oz our awesome Mukka 💝🍻👩🤠🦘🇦🇺
Don't feel bad, Mukka, I love to make you guys smile, it's my mission on the Tube!!! 😂 It's my pleasure too! Same here, too many videos to be able to watch every one but I try to support my friends. Hugs back to you guys across the world my Aussie mates! 🤗😎🦫👍
Soooo... 45 then.!? 😉😉 That was a rather unexpected & spectacular end to your run wasn't it.! I definitely didn't see that coming, nor did that car driver..... You certainly gave it a bloody good go Mark, 45 mph is a very respectable result, we've all really enjoyed being taken on the journey with you, it's been fantastic.!! 👍 👍 👍 This hobby is built on a mountain of broken parts, it's all part of the fun. (after you've calmed yourself down).! 😉 On to the next project.... Hey Mark, I know a bloke who's giving away some old RCs.!😁😁 As always, please stay safe out there mate (& your RCs) & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍
Yes Alan, 45, 45, 45, 45, 45, 45 and another 45!!! 😂 I couldn't do that if I tried! Glad you enjoyed the ride, it was frustrating and fun at the same time - and of course you had a lot to do with it as I used 3 of the motors that you kindly sent! I certainly gave it my best, mate and it makes it worth it when kind folks like you follow along. As for those old RC's I'll be in touch soon - I hope your post office is ready for this! All the very best as alwayss, take care mate! 🙏😎🍻🦫👊😁👍
I am unsure whether they waited to drive over it maliciously or they just didn't see it. Either way, so sorry for you Mark. You and Rob always cheer me up with your chirpy fun.
Hi Damian - yeah in hindsight I think it was a learner driver that just panicked! I was obviously gutted at the time though! Never mind as it makes for good content! 😅 Thanks mate, yep it was still fun all the same - cheers! 😎👊👍
OMG. This is so unfair. I feel so sorry for you Mark. And I know this won't bring any relief, but I'm suprised and astonished that the car came back with this amount of damage on it's own wheels.
Thanks Dirk... Yeah I was gutted at the time but I have calmed down since! I think the incident was inevitable in the end, running at 45mph in a public space! But yes, the car survived well and will be fixed! Thank you my friend!
Don't be sorry, Joe, it was hilarious in hindsight! Just one of those things when you are running in a public space! Glad it made you laugh, all good! Have a great day too!
Thanks Craig that's very kind of you! 🙏 But you won't beleive this mate, they were actually Rob's wheels!!! 😅 I got a set to give him though! It was a crazy end to the SRC for me, but it made for good viewing so nothing lost! Cheers pal! 🍻😎👊👍
Tell me about it Kim, i should have quit while I was ahead! That's the problem with not having a private runway though! Take care and all the best my lovely friend! 🙏😎👍
You pair crack me up, and it’s great to watch someone without a strange accent 😉 Shame about the car, but that’s the risk on a public space. It’s been real fun watching your run, thank you. Even the missus watches 😂
Thanks Graham, that's great to hear! You must be pretty local to me then! And yes that is the risk we take with speed running in a public car park, I can see the funny side of it and nobody was hurt which is all that matters. Glad you enjoyed the runs, thanks to you missus for watching too! Cheers! 🍻😎👍
I know man! Same here, my biggest fear was hitting someone on one of these speed runs! Thankfully it's just my car and I can fix it! Thanks for the well wishes and yeah, see you there! 😎👊👍
That is fucked up. I'm sorry man. I admire your grit for pushing on and being able to have a good time along the way. Cheers to you guys! It's been a joy seeing you guys in the competition.
Thanks dude! Well you know the perils of speed running just as well! It was a blast all the same even if it didn't end well, it can be fixed! Glad you enjoyed the ride - cheers! 😎🙏👍
@@MarkBryanRC it can be pretty crazy to be sure. I remember last year someone trying to grab my car while staging for a run. Can't wait to see what's next!
Many thanks Mark! 🙏 Well mate I think it was a learner driver so there you go. They sure must have felt it but panicked I reckon. Damage ain't as bad as it looked so all good! Cheers mate! 🍻😎👍
Well congrats to the 45 and the 45 and the 45 and the 45... Jeez! Sorry that it ended the way it did, you handled it a lot better than I would have! I am super surprised it actually drove back to you all crumple and smooshed! Funny how a small thing can render them useless and yours gets run over and drives away! LOL! Hopefully it is just parts and pieces and all the electronics are fine, seems to be. Better luck next year Mark, it has to go better!
Haha, thanks Addam, I think I need to rename my channel to 45mph-RC!!!! 😂 It just seems so strange to hit the same speed with wildly different setups - motors, gearing etc!!!! I was a bit dumbstruck when the incident happened, but then I hammed it up for the camera! Gotta take all the opportunities you can to make a video! 😅 I was amazed it ran after as well, does look funny on camera wobbling along! But yeah it was not hard to fix so all good in the end! Here is to the next one - cheers! 🍻😎👍
Hahaha!!! Cheers for the shout out. Managed 47 in the end. But hot as £&%* with the ludicrous. Sooo frustrating.! Determined to give it a go to try and get to 50 at some point. How the hell did that car keep going after that!!! 😲😲😲😲😲😲 i feel for you matey 😢😢😢
Haha no worries Glenn, I had your last run in mind as I pressed the "read" button! Well done on the Mc47!! I really thought I could hit 50 but the damn speed meter was stuck at 45 I tell you! I know mate, just shows how tough these little Tamiyas are... thanks pal, I hope to have better luck next time - see you there! 😁👊👍
You sure gave it all you had many times over! Excellent effort Mark!👏 As far as the incident, it looks like maybe they didn’t see it….but no way they didn’t know they’d run something over! Perhaps an elderly driver? One time when I was a kid, my grandmother drove to the restaurant my parents owned, (a good 15 miles or so) with a roadside sign for sweet corn under her car!😬 Great job buddy!👍😊
Thanks Jeremy, oh yes I tried and tried - each time it was not just the same setup, always a different motor, gearing or ESC. That's what made it so frustrating, so many different setups and exactly the same speed!?!?! 😅👍 But yeah, I think it was a learner driver, that's the peril of running in a public space... it was bound to happen eventually. Haha, 😂 love the story about your Grandmother! Take care, brother! 😎🙏👍
Sorry to see such a disastrous end for your MF-01X. Thats one of the risks what can happen when driving rc cars on public places... But that run over could have been avoided from both sides and was absolutely unnecessary... 😢
Thanks Michi, yes it was both disastrous and totally avoidable, you are right! I knew it was a risk to run in that car park. The driver was a learner and I don't think they were in full control of the vehicle. I would have moved my RC if I could see it properly but it was too far away... Anyway, lessons learnt!!! Cheers! 😎🙏👊👍
You can get a recipe from google and ingredients from b and q for a little "thank you" pile that will burn through his bonnet and engine to the drive below.
Don't tempt me, dude! 😂 I felt like that at the time but realised it was a learner driver. They hadn't got a clue. But I also see the funny side now all is said and done! Cheers! 🍻👍
Totally agree, this chassis is so unstable but actually OK after a few changes, the main culprit is the stock servo-saver! Great fun though - cheers! 😎🙏👍
Well Mark...that is terrible. In your birthday video when you said it got run over I was expecting to see something like "I drove it in the path of the car" or "the car was going too fast to stop" or "my bad...driver error and it's my fault" but seriously...the driver of that car was STOPPED!!! They literally had to have seen the car before it was even near them, saw it go in front of them, and then just didn't care and drove away whether it was under them or not. I can't believe it...seriously...I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!
Hi there Freddy and many thanks for the supportive words! I know, as you saw I could not believe it myself at the time, I was stumped for words. In hindsight I think it was a learner driver, lots go to that car park for first lessons - they probably had no idea what was going on. They must have felt the crunch of a small RC car and panicked!!! Anyway, I fixed the RC now so all good, thanks again, pal! 🙏😎👍
Tell me about it dude! But hey, that's what you get when you are running a tiny RC at 45mph on a public car park, gutted at the time but it was always a risk! Good times overall though! Cheers! 😎🙏👍
40 Mc 5 manhours 😂🤣😂🤣😂 👍🏼 great going mark. Only just got my TT02 to 30mph so can only imagine what it’s like at that speed. Really love watching your guys videos. Without sounding creepy, I’ve been watching you two for years. Think that was just unlucky at the end. Don’t think they could see due to having a piece of sh…. Nissan duke 🫣 it was funny how it limped home though. Gonna take more than a duke to kill a Tamiya. 🤭 Tony’sTamiyaParts TTP are gonna love you tomorrow mate. 😁
Hi there John, haha yes 45 McFive over and over and over!!! 😂 You couldn't do that if you tried! 30 ain't bad for a TT02! But yeah it does get "squirrelly" over 40mph! 😬 It's great to know you've been following the channel, that's awesome, I'm glad you left a comment this time! And I think you are right, I think it was a learner practicing and they hadn't got a clue about my car - I may of just hammed it up a little for RobOnTheCamera! 😁 I really can see the funny side of it. Watch this "p!ss take" of the incident if you get chance, it's really funny! ruclips.net/video/y_khqsouQMU/видео.html I do like TTP as well! Cheers mate! 🙏🍻😎👍
@@MarkBryanRC I checked it out Mark. 😂🤣😂🤣😂 brilliant. Love how this hobby really brings people from all over the world together even if not physically. No mater where you’re from the passion for RC is the same for all. I’ve been in to RC cars since the age of 9, I’m 36 now and very foolishly bought my first RC plane last week. Only because it was cheap on eBay and 5 minutes up the road…… a week later I now have 3 planes 🤦🏻♂️ I’ve not even flown one yet 🤷🏻♂️ I’m not talking a little edf foam thing either. They all have a near 2 meter wing span. Like I said I’m an RC car guy and have never flown before and have no idea what I’m doing. hence the thought process behind more planes 😂 My advice to you or anyone else reading this is, if you haven’t yet got into the RC planes…….. don’t. I’m still learning aviation terminology and things I didn’t even know existed and is far more complex than I first thought. I’ll give you just one example….. I noticed the engine on my first plane was angled ever so slightly to the right and looked a bit crooked. Me with my John’ll fix it attitude got straight on it. Quite literally. With a sense of pride I now looked at the engine and prop sitting lovely and straight only to discover through a RUclips video that evening that plane engines actually are angled slightly to the right to fly straight due to the torque from the prop. Couldn’t believe it. Talk about, if it’s not broke fix it till it is. Still learning….. 🤦🏻♂️ thanks for getting back to me though Mark. I’ll try and keep any future comments a bit shorter 😉
I love you guys videos 😂😂 Im sorry about the flattened car I wasnt laughing at you but the car slowly getting squished and came hobbling back had me laughing im sorry 😂😂😂great content atleast haha!!! I dont think the driver intentionally ran over your car I think they didnt see it lol some people should not be driving 😂😂 please continue to make videos 👍
All good! Great to hear you love the videos! But it's all good because the whole point of this is to entertain so I'm glad you were laughing! I was gutted at the time but did ham it up for the camera! 😅 I agree, the driver was a learner I think, it's the risk you take running at 45mph in a public car park! Good content though. We will do our very best to keep the videos coming - cheers! 😎🤝👍
@@Chad-b3q I'm sorry you thought the video was depressing my friend 😔 at least we got a new PB! The car running over my rc was definitely a bummer though 😕 😅👍
Iol the way it still drove back was the stuff hero's are made of....what a git though he must of seen it! Mark l would of cried my friend l tell you! What's the damage under the lid mate?? Rob was awesome he ran over my car you said and Rob replied yeah l heard it!😆
Tell me about it James, Tamiya Tough!!! Only light damage so all good! I was gutted at the time I can tell you (although I might have played up a bit for the camera! 😂) Rob is a right so and so... did you hear him laughing?!?!?! 🤣🙏😎👊👍
Argh, the frustration of not achieving that greater speed, and then it ends with that... As you said, the SRC definitely ended there... Time to rebuild the old MF, probably back to rallycar? To be fair, I noticed it was a Nissan Juke, whoever drives those might not be the best drivers. And they certainly couldn't see the little toy car from that angle, so they probably just got very scared and confused and chose to drive... It was bound to happen at some point with these SRC, I had an episode in 2023 SRC where I needed to run and apologise to some Finnish woman, my toy car was crashed somewhere right in front of her... nyway... Have a great week ahead, my friend!
Tell me about it Mads, fun and frustration mixed up together! Each run was with a different setup so it wasn't the same car over and over... so many motors and gearing options I tried! Doesn't seem right to keep getting the same speed! As for the "incident". I think it was a new driver illegally trying for the first time in a public place!!! You are right, they had no idea my car was there! As you say, the risk we take speed running in a public place. At least it made a dramatic ending for me! I would love to have seen the look on that Finnish woman's face! 😂 Thanks as always and have a great week too! 😎🙏👊👍
Right, let's prey this comment doesn't get eaten like all those attempts to comment on last night's video. (they weren't even rude!,🙄) Mark oh Mark..... What a spectacular end to the speed run series, I'm so sorry for your loss dude..... and I sincerely believe that this deserves a prize in its own right mate! 45,45,45,45......ultimate respect for effort buddy! But realistically 45 is an awesome achievement for the brushed category..... huge pat on the back from us all at green hawks. 🙏 As for the ending..... Grrrrr, what a tw*t in that Nissan!!! 😡 Probably shouldn't say this but it really created some milage here at green hawks HQ. Me and Taylor are always at each other for our choice of car- I drive a black beema, he drives a White Nissan juke...... Maaaan, this just proves my point about Nissan drivers! 😂 Sorry dude, I genuinely feel for you. 😮 Especially bearing in mind your past experience with those nasty boys and your original monster beetle...... I bet the emotional torment of this repeat occurance was enough psychological torment to warrant counceling?! Fair play man, you took it well..... I would have jumped in my car and chased them up the road! 😅 I'm also amazed that you still managed to drive it back...... Tamiya tough!!! How severe is the damage buddy? Am I able to donate you any parts..... I still have Doms rolling chassis that we bought for the challenge, but sadly ran out of time due to the rockets arriving too late, and me going down with covid. I'm sure that we as a community could get you enough parts to rebuild her to her former glory?! On a more positive note, it could have been worse mate, at least Barbara's beaver wasn't run over, or you and Rob for that matter! Drop me a mail if you want any of the bits off of our chassis buddy. 😊 All the best mate. 👍 👍 👍
Well James, thank goodness this one did stick! Yeah I think I win the booby prize for the most runs at exactly the same speed and for a "crushing" ending! It was funny to look back on though mate! Thanks for the pat on the back, yeah 45 ain't bad, I just wanted 1mph more!!! Haha yeah I remember seeing Taylor's Juke, he must be the b@stard that ran over my car!! 🤣 Yeah I'm in councelling for a double RC crushing experience! Mind you it's only Rob telling me to man-up and get over it! 😂 Luckily the car came out of it better than the Beetle did, mainly wheels and body - it's now been rebuilt and is the Escort it started out as... Many thanks for the super kind offer though mate! 🙏 You should still do that rocket run though! All the very best, take it easy pal! 😎🦫👊👍
Yes mate..... Definitely Taylors fault!!! 😅 Glad the damage wasn't too severe, and that the car has been rebuilt to its former glory! I did notice (but refused to engage with ) a few 'trolls' on the comments section of this video. Clearly obvious to me that they obviously have never done a speed run, and have absolutely no idea of just how hard that car is to see, or control at 45mph!! Certainly not your fault mate, dont take any notice of keyboard warriors.....I'd like to see them put their money where their mouth is and have a go themselves!! As for the rocket car, hopefully they will keep until next year's contest, I'm gutted we didn't make it this year. Not quite sure what I'm guna do with the m0f01x chassis yet, in all honesty it's not really a chassis that inspires me very much.....Pete wylie has put me right off! 😂👍 👍 👍
Cheers mate. Yeah I get a few trolls and find it best to be nice, they tend to go away because what they want is confrontation and I can well do without that! I've been in this game a long time now and I did retaliate in the early days but it just makes them worse. Now I'm used to it and honestly don't give a flying f**k about those comments! 🤣 But I agree about this chassis, I really don't like it and it can just sit on the shelf looking pretty! Nice to know the rockets will be saved for another day! Have a good one my friend! 😎🦫👍
PB? Performance Bikes? I've still got that sticker sheet myself. Must be from the mid 90's. I'm all stressed seeing that rtc. 😳 Must get the bike out and go for a run. 🏍️
Haha 😄 yeah thanks mate I'm sure that sticker sheet was from back then!!! I was a big follower of that magazine! I think I was even more stressed than you! Thanks for the comment and all the best from Mark! 😁👍
What a "not nice person" (replace with favorite insults)😡, It's really one of my worst nightmare (with crashing into someone...). 45 is still very fast, Mark, wonder if the ESC was limiting ? All the best ✌🤝
Haha, yes Gabriel, a terrible thing to happen but only to be expected when speed running in a public area! I also think hitting a person is my worst nightmare so it could have been much worse. I changed the ESC my friend, that's why I was sure it would top 45! Hobbywing 0880 dual motor ESC with both motor wires connected to the motor... but same speed! All the best to you too! 😎🤝👍
I would not be surprised, Jess! My wife and I were hit and run from behind in a car accident a few weeks ago, we got the plate but when we reported it to the police it came up "invalid" too! 😓
Thanks a ton Luke, I love your idea for a t-shirt!!! 😂 No worries we were way off the leaders anyway, I just wanted to beat that damn 45mph!!! Maybe next year! Cheers! 🍻😎👍
Saw Fil mention your crash and came to support you, subbed. We've got the license plate recorded! Insurance claim: you: "It run over on top of me and complete flatten my Miata while I was driving" agent: "Look at the bright side, you are still alive. What's your policy number?" you: "hmm" 🤣 Seriously, he/she probably didn't see the Miata when it's so close to it. All the encounters are positive here in my neighborhood Surprisingly, you can drive it back to you I would keep it the way it is as a shelve queen If you were in the US, I'd send you the crash of the year award of 2024
Thanks for heading over and dropping a message and a sub! 🙏 Haha yeah if only I was insured for my RC car! You're right, she probably didn't see it as she sure couldn't drive very well. It drove back with roken wheels, yeah, Tamiya Tough! I fixed it up already and is back to being the Escort rally it was before. Crash of the year award? I'll take that thankyou very much! Cheers! 🍻😎👍
Gutted that it had to end that way, can’t really add anything that others have already said. I think someone must have sabotaged your speed meter to not show above 45! I’m sure my car has gone faster than the indicated speeds 😂
Same here Tony but at least the incident put me out of my misery in my attempts to beat 45!!! 😂 It just seems so strange to hit the same speed with wildly different setups - motors, gearing etc!!!! Yeah I blame the speed app! Thanks for the banter along the way in the SRC, it's been a blast! 🙏😎👊👍
A terrible, no good, horrible day for you Mark 😢. Is there RC insurance against stupid auto drivers ?😜. All that work on your car, destroyed in an instance. 😡 You’ll have many awesome days with your new ELF car! 🤗. Maybe you need a new meter 😉. Happy RCing to you my friend!🤗🏎️
You sure got that right, Christine! But the main thing is the car can be repaired (it's on the bench right now and looking good) and nobody was hurt. But yes and yes, the new ELF will keep me busy and the speed meter needs replacing!!!! All the best my lovely friend! 🙏😎👊👍
Oh Christine, if only it had gone 46mph! But yes it's now fixed and back to the Escort rally car it once was. Sadly it will only hit about 18mph now! Many thanks my friend! 😎🙏👍
Haha! 😂 Cheers Tony and don't worry, I do see the funny side... in fact, watch this p!ss take video of the incident, you will love it! ruclips.net/video/y_khqsouQMU/видео.html And many thanks pal, yeah mom is doing OK. 🙏😎👍
To be fair to the driver dude, that car was a Nissan Juke and you sit pretty high up in those. I'd imagine the driver never saw your car. That's my theory. If he did then what a genuine tosser. Sorry about the car mate - I'm amazed it still ran. What was retrievable?
I'm sure you are right, mate! I think it was a learner as well so there you go. That is always the danger of running a fast RC car in public, just glad I didn't hit anyone with my car. The damage ain't to bad my friend, mainly wheels and body. All the best! 😎👊👍
Well to be fair that little MF-01x was flying along there Mark ! horrible bastard at the end driving over that . Adapt and over come buddy and come back with a faster build . Stay awesome Chris
Hi Chris, yeah it was moving out there, just wanted 1 more tiny mph out of it! 😂Yeah gutted but all good now, definitely coming back with a bang! Cheers buddy! 🙏🍻😎👍
I truly think it was accidental. Still sucks 100 percent. We were cursed at 65. No matter what we tried we never went faster. Great competition this year fellas!
Hi Steve, yes I agree it was an accident, it was just a shock when it happened... I think it was a learner driver and they panicked! 65 is a good speed to be stuck at but as you can tell, I feel your pain! Definitely a great competition - see you on the next one! 😎👊👍
You can drive hours away to nowhere and sure as crap someone will pull in and insist on parking or circling the parking lot right next to you. Yes I know if for real cars but can you just back off and let me have some space.
You got that right, Kevin! That white car was circling all the time we were there but had not come onto our "runway" before the crash. They must have seen us running the RC up and down. Ah well! 😎👍
It's 100% your fault for having your car run over. It's not reasonable to expect anyone to see it where it was. You could have easily driven it out of harm's way. The critical/angry comments here are disappointing.
100% agree. First of all, car park is public place, so different things can happen. Even if we skip this fact, I totally understand driver. Car appeared on the left side of the screen. In that moment, RC was on the right side, far from car and looked like it would stop around curb. Instead of this, RC went on the left side spinning. There was no chance, that driver will see it.
Hi there and thanks for the comment. Yes I agree 100% it was my fault! It's a public car park and I chose to drive it there. It's the only way to do these competitions unless you have a stately home with a private 200m road!!! 😅 I was just gutted at the time and after all this is all just for fun. TBF most people commenting here understand the circumstances and are just trying to be supportive, they are not bad people! Cheers!
Absolutely agree - see my other comment to @guest6423 TBH you saw the car from a zoomed in view, I actually couldn't see which was my RC was pointing! Cheers for commenting.
Absolutely agree - see my other comment to @guest6423 ... TBH the car was so far away from me and at 45mph it's impossible to steer! I was just upset at the time but it WAS my own bad! Cheers!
Juke drivers are like Zafira drivers - never park next to either of them in a supermarket car park!
😂😁 Haha that's so funny but true! I will avoid at all costs from now on! Thanks for the smiles! 😁🙏👊👍

The fact that it got run over and still managed to limp back to base was pretty awesome. I don't think anyone would have guessed that 😮
I know, Right?!?!?! How it was still running amazed me too! But hey, the issues of speed running in a public place, but it still hurts! 😅👍

I certainly gave it my best, mate and it makes it worth it when kind folks like you follow along.
As for those old RC's I'll be in touch soon - I hope your post office is ready for this!

I still can't believe that someone drove over your car mate, that's well out of order....
Thanks! Tell me about it Barry, you can tell how pi$$ed I was about it! Some people should never be allowed to get behind the wheel! 😅👍
Sorry, but I am still laughing and rewinding the hit and run a couple of times. Lol have a good day guys
Don't be sorry, Joe, it was hilarious in hindsight! Just one of those things when you are running in a public space! Glad it made you laugh, all good! Have a great day too!
Unbelievable dude!!! What a way to sign off from the 2024 speed run though 🙌🏻 I have some spare wheels if you need them pal
Thanks Craig that's very kind of you! 🙏 But you won't beleive this mate, they were actually Rob's wheels!!! 😅 I got a set to give him though! It was a crazy end to the SRC for me, but it made for good viewing so nothing lost! Cheers pal! 🍻😎👊👍

Shame about the car, but that’s the risk on a public space.
It’s been real fun watching your run, thank you. Even the missus watches 😂
Thanks Graham, that's great to hear! You must be pretty local to me then!

It just seems so strange to hit the same speed with wildly different setups - motors, gearing etc!!!!
I was a bit dumbstruck when the incident happened, but then I hammed it up for the camera! Gotta take all the opportunities you can to make a video! 😅 I was amazed it ran after as well, does look funny on camera wobbling along! But yeah it was not hard to fix so all good in the end!
Excellent effort Mark!👏
As far as the incident, it looks like maybe they didn’t see it….but no way they didn’t know they’d run something over!
Perhaps an elderly driver? One time when I was a kid, my grandmother drove to the restaurant my parents owned, (a good 15 miles or so) with a roadside sign for sweet corn under her car!😬
Great job buddy!👍😊
Thanks Jeremy, oh yes I tried and tried - each time it was not just the same setup, always a different motor, gearing or ESC. That's what made it so frustrating, so many different setups and exactly the same speed!?!?! 😅👍
But yeah, I think it was a learner driver, that's the peril of running in a public space... it was bound to happen eventually. Haha, 😂 love the story about your Grandmother! Take care, brother! 😎🙏👍

Thanks Fons, tell me about it mate!! I definitely need more luck next time out! Thanks mate!👍
Cheers! 🍻👍

Amazing the speed everyone is getting out if the MF01X chassis. I feel it is the most unstable tamiya chassis ever however mine is rwd built 😂
Totally agree, this chassis is so unstable but actually OK after a few changes, the main culprit is the stock servo-saver! Great fun though - cheers! 😎🙏👍
@@MarkBryanRC great tip
@@GreatBirdOfHope Thanks! I used a Tamiya high torque servo saver and it worked a treat!
I had someone do same to me with a tamiya just out my front and a new build they literally drove into me then over my car I was lucky no damage

As for the rocket car, hopefully they will keep until next year's contest, I'm gutted we didn't make it this year.

What the heck are they blind or what😢
IDK mate - I think it was a learner so that might be the reason! Cheers! 😎👍
Stay awesome
Chris
Yeah why run to the path of the car when he could have turned the RC to the right and away from harms ways
Cheers!
