Tremendous Gem mate, i watched all the oficcial FIA rewiews of 80"s and 90"s but never this one with Ayrton"s conclusions in 1990 remembering all the events of the season. I enjoyed every second of it, Did Eurosport record some similar program like this one of the duel with Mansell in 91?. Because if that is the case i would like to see that too. Many thanks for bring this to youtube😊
Awesome! Great to rewatch after all these years and realize just how easily the championship could have turned out different with less luck for Senna in the incident in Hungary and without the punt in Japan. Thanks so much and hope you can upload more of these gems!

Today it will be my way. I still cannot imagine what was going trough his mind, of course 1989 was scandalous but he should win on track not doing this. Pitty.
Wow can't believe what commentator came out with after Derek Warwick high speed crash at 1990 Italian GP coming out parabolica & his car ended up in middle of the track on its side just before the pit entry & he comes out with " Well this COULD be a Red Flag " but obviously he wasn't certain if it would be a Red Flag or possible Yellow Flags maybe 😂😂 Murray Walker must have been on holiday.
Yes...but it' was impossible to know how Williams renault team was going to be as successful that 1990. Mclaren was on top. In fact Ferrari was really the 2nd force. Alain prove it this season. How ever he could have seen it by the beggining of 1991. He knew in phoenix that Williams is going to be a real opponent. But he could do nothing under contract signed by him with Mclaren at spa 1990.
I was a Senna fan back then. But, I must admit that what he did in Suzuka in 1990 and in 1989 were not racing incidents, they were showcases of unsportmanship. Especially, in 1990 as he later admitted that he did it on purpose. He should have been penalised for that......Plus, in 1990 you have Mansell moaning about his inferior car compared to Prost's. Prost was just superior and Nigel was looking for excuses. He also behaved very badly in the race start in Portugal, ruining Prost's race and taking him out of the title contention.

Just thinking to myself "nothing on telly again tonight" and this pops up. Nice one 👍

Still miss this guy.

Incredible how Ayrton was calm and gentle out of the track! Still miss him so much 😢rest in peace my sweet love ❤🙏🕊
Who would have thought Alesi wins one race in his career at this time.
I couldn't agree more. He looked so promising in 1990. Something must have happened to affect his confidence in the following years.

Mansells start in Portugal was ridiculous
I agree. If I were the team boss at Ferrari, I would have fired him on the spot.

Sadly, he never race in Malaysia 🇲🇾 (Sepang F1 Circuit, just five years later, after his death).
No wonder Berger got kept on after not winning in 1990, he spent most of the year crashing into McLaren’s rivals
Taking points away from them instead brings a lot more value
Thank you great to see senna and mansel😅

What does that mean? GOATED. I'm absolutely clueless. Please help rebelchild9652

He should've been disqualified from 1989 season after Suzuka 1989. Then banned from F1 for life after Suzuka 1990.

Prost took out Senna in ‘89 but I agree completely that over the 2 years both were unsportsmanlike in the finale to both championships.
89 - Prost deliberately takes Senna out
90 - Senna deliberately takes Prost out and returns the favour
