i'm so sorry but i love the innocence here "where do you go with these" i don't think we can tell you
Don't tell her. Protect the innocent.
Just go go dancing!
I'm so lost
I’m laughing so hard over here.
Perhaps the ‘squatting down’ she did might give her a clue. And having a ‘riding crop’, too, would help put some emphasis on the situation. Not that I’ve done any of that personally. I just have a very good imagination. 😂😂
Pleasers are the industry standard for exotic dancers and drag artists. They make a great shoe
The more you (I) know (learned)
I was going to say "professional skrippa shoes."
I have tried something similiar years ago (when less extreme example could be find almost everywhere) and... onestly? They were SO CONFORTABLE for my flat feet! Sadly they were SO NOT my style but they were amazing to wear
My first thought was to use then in a ballet adaptation of Kinky Boots but the fact that the actual brand is for drag artists makes that even better!
I love brands for drag artists, I'm a cis woman but I'm a size 43 shoe, which more traditional brands often don't sell. Pleaser shoes fit me so well!
The fact that Josephine did this review while pregnant just shows how committed she is to her audience. And I'm here for it 😂❤
"I don't know who's gonna be into this..."
Oh honey, more people than you would want to consider......😂
Haha exactly my thought when she said it 🤣
Gross
@@andrea-rq1fe let's not yuck other people's yum
@@scarlettptheoriginal she didn't ask for it tho
@user-sg4ov7ng4h no one asked her to comment "gross" either. Scrolling away without commenting is always an option.
"Why does this feel so natural?"
This should be the top comment 🤣
5:30 "do you guys want it?" actually yeah kinda but not for what they are. as a cosplayer i would turn them into faun legs for my DnD satyr
YES oooooh that is a good idea.
I said the same kind of thing on the other video. While I get that the company makes them for 'adult' dress up, but hoofed cosplayers use the same style shoes.
My T'au cosplay needs these. There's really no better way to mimic having hooves.
ok so I'm not the only one seeing the hoof angle
@@JoaoPessoa86 If you do an image search for faun cosplay legs there are many examples 🙂
I have a fitting with her on Sunday! I'm so exited! 😆
Update: Josephine was not wearing the heel-less heels, but I LOVE my new shoes, they are amazing!
We need a report (with pictures!) if Josephine is wearing the heel-less heels!
ASK TO SEE THE SHOES!!!
@@JoaoPessoa86YESSSS!!
@@JoaoPessoa86YASSS PLEASEEEE
Josephine doing sexy poses in fetish boots and then bursting out laughing was exactly what I needed today 🤣
there is also the thing with cosplayers that use heelless high heels for faun costumes. you basically make the platform look like a hoof or clove.
stop that would be so good for a grover cosplay
This was already funny and then the pointe-shoe style assessment of the heel-less heels absolutely killed me 🤣
I saw your comment before it came on and still chuckled. Not the metatarsals lol
Me too! I don't know how she kept a straight face!
That was my favorite part!
Big platform shoes curve up slightly at the front to make it easier to walk in, and more natural-feeling. It’s meant to mimic how a normal shoe bends with your foot. Platforms can’t bend like a sneaker does, so if was completely flat, then you’d be rolling forward on a 90-degree edge, your knee would be popping, and it would feel very unnatural and janky. You’d probably also look weird walking too.
So the nice thing with pleasers is that they are *designed* to walk around and dance in, whether they have a heel or not. They are built to be incredibly supportive of the arch and the ankle and are weighted and firm to keep you stable. the bottom sole being curved is actually part of that design, because it helps you walk in a natural gate instead of having to pick your feet up in a weird way, it makes you far less likely to trip.
Please try and review the Act'able pointe shoes. The company is based in Germany, but they ship worldwide I believe. So curious to know what you think of them and how durable they are for the future of ballet and dance.
Sometimes pregnancy makes us do wild and crazy things, Josephine. 😄
I've heard of peoples' style changing when they have a kid, but Josephine is really going for it!
i'm a size 9 - omg, i totally would wear those if you don't want them. I actually love heelless heels. It helps to have them tighter than you'd think, like roller skates or ice skates. The little bit of rounding on the toe is to help as you walk.
4:20
"Idk who's gonna be into this" 😅
girl... you'd be surprised lmao
I have a couple pairs of heel-less heels, they’re not actually any harder to walk in than stilettos or your average platform boot.
Also, with a package from Pleaser, your neighbors either *definitely* think you’ve taken up pole dancing or you’re having an early mid-life crisis. 💛💛
The second ones with the heels are fetish boots. Being difficult to walk in is the point afaik
This was amazing! You are slaying in Josephine! Could keep them until post pregnancy & style with a pink tutu and some punky hair. Could be fun and editorial.
So, first heeled pole class with pleasers you learn: walk on your tippy toes in S figures (as in, you draw an S with the point of the platform going inwards and then put the rest of the platform on the ground when you’re en deors) and ALWAYS walk on flat hard surfaces, if you go on a carpet you go down (since they are so big the advantage is that you fall before breaking ankles)
They do make practical heel less high heels actually! I have ran around most of the day in them in cosplay. If you want more practical ones look for the ones that have a little flat bit sticking out behind the toe back under the foot. It is part of a c shaped steel rod so they are like wearing chunky platform wedges.
We should do a "sister and the travelling pants" with the heelless heels.
But is it better than cups? :D
Oh my gosh, this was hilarious!!! Also, as soon as you put your pointe shoe on, I thought, oh, she has such pretty feet! 🩰
Hahaha Josephine you are such a good sport!! Baby Pointe Shop is like “don’t bring me into this!” 😂 hope you and baby are doing well!!
I love that you did this! So fun and I appreciate the little comments on the screen too. If you're actually giving them away I’d love them! I'm an 8.5 / 9 and pink is my favourite colour so I can promise they'd be loved, lol. Of you don't give them away though you should absolutely do some errand or just go for a walk in them post baby. Also the laces are so short because they're meant to be laced really tight, an almost immobile ankle gives more support on that style of platform heel usually (plus needing to be sure they can't be stepped on ever)!
Whatever the channel is turning into … I’m here for it. 😂
This lead up was really funny and dramatic. I love these and I can wear them lol. If you don’t want them, I would love to to be considered to have them lol.
pleasers work best when you get the laces pretty tight and then point your toes and roll into the "cut"(the top of the toe box) of the shoe to make a good line. You should be able to see the arch of your foot as you point your toes- sounds bizarre I know but it works well for dancing
Don't ask who's gonna be into it, because SOMEBODY will.
These look so good on you! And they definitely seem easier to walk in than pointe shoes. Especially if you have the muscle built up already to safely wear pointe shoes, since youre not so far forward and you're already used to moving around without putting weight onto your heel.
Doesn't matter what these would normally be bought for, they can also be bought just for fun and definitely to use in photoshoots! 😊 No need to get rid of them! Loved the assessment at the end, too. 😂
Could we love her anymore. ❤😂😂😂😂
I love how adventurous you are. I love the colour!!!!
I'm so here for this content! I laughed so much during this video 😆 (but also if you could bring back the pointe shoe fitting videos I'd be over the moon ❤)
This is actually so amazing and I am fully endorsing specialty shoe review with Josephine.
Yes! Please try more! Just please wait till after you've had your baby... I was scared for you while watching this LOL
Why did this feel so natural? Lol. You rocked it Josephine.
The 3D printed modular pointe shoes please!!
I’ve been waiting for a video like this😂😂
Slay girl! You did that so well and you're off balance and pregnant! You rocked it!
Girl😅😅 these are cute the pink one
I have never laughed so hard in my entire life!! Love you to bits!
I love this I can always relate to these thank you !
Great video lots of fun. Can you try ballet boots / Ballet heels next?
Loving the baby bump!
If you do end up wearing them out to the grocery store, tighten up those laces around your ankles! You'll have much more support that way. : )
"Is it paper or a pointe shoe dying in the distance". 😂😂
Omg Jo I've been wanting you to try these shoes for the longest and I'm so glad you finally did
This is my new favorite video.
Oh yes! I’m a size 9 and love these SO much. I want to colour them black and wear them as a Star Trek Discovery cosplay!!
Omg I love you for this! And it looks awesome 😆
This is the first time I’ve seen you in a pointe shoe! Your foot is so pretty!!
I’ve been wanting to get those for so long!!!! ❤❤❤
This is actually the first time I’ve seen Josephine wear pointe shoes herself.
That is hilarious 😁 you did great walking in them and they are so cute. Wow I almost forgot about Pleaser shoes its been so long.
Okay but, 100% SLAYING!!! Giiiirl those shoes honestly are the perfect accessory to your bump!
Me, waiting for an orthopedic doc to chime in. 😅
I think these would be great for a centaur costume 😊
spicy accountant heels are the absolute easiest heels to walk in.. as one, I can confirm, and I also have about 20 Pleaser pairs.. my closed toe red converse like pair are the most fun, not super comfy though and are 6in.. but 7-8inch open toe heels are the most comfortable and actually more comfy than normal wedges 🤷🏽♀️
super cute shoe the pink is 👌🏽👌🏽
I would die for those heels! They look so fun!
This content is amazine Josephine, well done. I would absolutely love these shoes for a pole competition number I'm planning for the fall!
Oh my gosh I would LOVE these! As a professional dancer interested in starting my drag career here in Chicago I think these could be perfect for me :)
Your baby bump is so darned cute xx
nice to see you doing other than react stuff❤
MISS MAMAS THIS IS TEW CUTE LIKE GO OFF!!!
Less than one hour I love your videos
Love it!!!!
😆😆This was so fun and entertaining to watch!!
Man I would love those boots! And pink for the win.. But you were so cute model walking in them hahha!
Josephine, You Are Glowing!
Omg I was so scared when you did the walk but so impressed at the same time! Please show us your moves with the shoes when the baby is like 6 months old I bet it will be so so easy for you!
If you are giving them away I would love to wear those fabulous shoes lol! 🤣🥰 You are totally rocking them!
This was VERY educational!! 😅
You are just adorable!
I mean, you totally slayed the pink shoes.
I love you so much lmao this is so funny
Pleaser USA shoes are the absolute best brand for poledancers (the sexy high heels variant). They also sell wonderfull pin-up style shoes.
Also. Yes. I want them... 😍
Lol, I just subscribed and this is the first video! 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly, I'd take them! I'm size 9 and wear Pleaser shoes a lot, but have never tried the heel less ones. 😍
I love this ❤
OMG!! This is so hysterical. 😅😅😅
I’m a size 9!! I would totally love this. Promise I will send you a video of me in it. 🤣🤣
The whole time i was silent screaming "Nooooooo! Not when youre pregnanttttt!" 😬😬 😂😂
Those high heels give me taruma 😅 for the time I wore relly big high heels and fell down the stairs case with 13 steps 😢.....
I have had a pair of heel-less heels I found them to be really comfortable!
I remember my sister got those god awful pointe heels for her evil fairy costume in highschool, with the plan of going trick or treating in them 😂 yeah that didnt happen, she wore sneakers
Also, seeing the pleaser box gave me so much nostalgia ❤ i used to work in an adult store and stocking the shoes was always my favorite task
The INSTANT hairflip, hahaha love it
This is UNHINGED and I looooooooove it 😂😂😂😂😂
Best video ever! lol. I would love those, I’ll be 60 on March 31st and that would be a great present! Not sure where I would wear them though. Ha ha
I love Josephine even MORE now
So pure
So sweet
So adorable
She’s like my bestest of friends 🙏🏻
Could Josephine be any cuter! My Heart!
Saru in Star Trek Discovery has those shoes as part of his uniform.
I’m just imagining Josephine pushing her baby in a stroller through Target while wearing these 😂
lmao bless your pure heart
The heelless heels are for pole dancing, some people prefer these over the ones with the heels, because there's no heel to accidentaly hook them onto the pole. The platform is slightly curved up so the dancers can do those nice sliding moves easily and not scratch the platform
You should try and find some Dori pointe shoes! Their pointe shoes with heels but actually dance shoes rather that fashion ones
i am a size 9 and i would love to have those!!
alright ma work it!
