@@KilowattAuto yes highways are good except for the phantom braking. But side roads I don’t like to use because it tends to hug center line to uncomfortably close. I like to leave a little margin for error for those coming in opposite direction that like to hug or go over center line. I wish you could adjust on this type roads where you can have it favor the right side of lane which I tend to do when driving those two lane narrow roads.
Yes that would be real helpful. I find my car does the same thing with hugging the center lane lane. I’m hoping as the FSD beta gets a wider release we will start to see some improvements.
thanks for the video. I believe I drive more efficiently also. I have a SR+ and my miles per kwh is about 200, even in 40 degree weather. I think the SR+ is lighter and allows more efficiency
Wow that’s very good for 40 degree weather. I think you are right with the weight difference. I have a feeling if I had been driving for a longer distance my watt hours per mile would have continued to decrease as the battery warmed up. Thanks for watching!
Never thought that the weight difference would cause such a drastic difference in wh/mi. I'm at around 212wh/mi after 20k miles and l always thought I drove pretty efficiently. I wonder who's driving the most efficient car right now
Maybe another mode would be to use the tacc instead of fad. Nice analysis
Awesome video! Thanks for the info!
No problem!
I think I can drive more safely too. I just don’t trust autopilot yet. So I do most of the driving in my Model 3.
I am pretty comfortable with autopilot on the highway but agree it can be pretty erratic sometimes especially on back roads.

@@KilowattAuto Yes lets hope it coming. 🤞🙂
I think autopilot is safer and more efficient for highway but humans are still better for everything else, although FSD beta is looking pretty good
