Ralph was absolutely diabolical in 'Schindler's List', his performance was one of the best I've ever seen.
Apparently he sent one of the Holocaust survivors into a frenzy while on set (not intentionally) because they believed him to be the real Amon Goeth.
@@liamfitzgerald7217 wow, can you imagine being on set...
Lol at first I thought you were criticising him.
@@Tomy_Yon I read an article about the making of Schindler's list and they had some of the real people - survivors on set and thery were so troubled by Ralph's portayal of Amon Goth they had to leave the set
@@mistressmozart That must have been horrible...
Jack and Lizzo snickering like school children was adorable.
Make no mistake Ralph is in on the joke.
100%. Jack is such a little schoolboy troublemaker. LOL.
Not really
Im surprised they didn’t also laugh when he went on to say “I had to put my finger into Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Potters forehead” 😂
It's a trade off.
It seems that Ralph Fiennes wanted to share that he asked the prop guys to add a hook to Voldemort's wand, so his performance would be more natural.
And people didn't get to hear that because of the giggling.
I agree with Jack: Ralph Fiennes’ performance in Grand Budapest Hotel is one of the great comedic performances of all time.
Always look forward to a new Wes film. That did not disappoint.
Don't forget In Bruges. Bloomin' brilliant in that.
In Bruges, man...
"Don't be stupid, this is the shootout"
And true to his real life.
That 'I can touch you now' went straight to my soul
Hasn't missed a beat.
My wand shrank
Anyone agrees with me when I say Ralph Fiennes is one FINE specimen?
Wow...did you really just do that? It's soooo bad but it's so good 🤣🤣🤣
Ralph is a fine actor and lovely person. He definitely has not be recognised enough for his work.
Some might say Ralph is Fiennes
He is recognised enough. He played in Red Dragon, Shindler's list, HP, Grand Budapest Hotel and now it's Menu. I'm sure he couldn't be more thankful for the recognition as an actor by people who matter in the buisness.
Ralph did amazing in the Harry Potter films but also in the James Bind movies as well alongside Daniel Craig .
I loved him in The Constant Gardener with Rachel Weisz. He played it brilliantly. I just felt his pain and kindness. Very descent actor, human being ♥️
Yes! That was/is a brilliant film. And, I think, underrated. Ralph was phenomenal. I believe it received accolades including Weisz as best actress (I'm not sure about that: if she received best actress for her role in the said movie.)
Ralph Fiennes is my favourite actor. Have loved him since the 90s! He's phenomenal in The Menu!
He killed it in The Menu, he stole the movie for me
Ralph Fiennes has always been one of my favorite actors. First saw him in a version of Wuthering Heights with Juliette Binoche. He was fire!
What a great movie! That was the one I was thinking is his best role.
yessss! have been a fan since then! got to meet him once after a play. greatest moment!
I remember that film I was about 14 yrs old at the time. Loved it!
“WILL YOU TWO PLEASE GROW UP” 😭😭😭
Constant Gardener, In Bruges, Spider, Strange Days, Schindlers List, English Patient, Wurthering Heights, End of the Affair, Grand Budapest Hotel... this guy REALLY knows how to pick a good script.
When Lizzo gave him a hug. 🥹
Right? I could feel that warmth! Wholesome
I loved the way he said “hello gorgeous” when they hugged! Love love love him ❤
Ralph is an Amazing actor. He basically can play any character 🧡
Why are English interviews always sooo good? Everything is genuine, and they have more meaningful conversations.
Will Ralph Fiennes ever be nominated for anything. Because he's better than all actors combined.
He’s had several nominations and won a Tony, but I still think he’s a bit under appreciated.
@@LC-le9ew same with Alan Rickman, he was so brilliant and no Oscar. Crazy
@@villanessa ❤️
He *should* have won the best supporting Oscar for his role in Schindler's List.
No doubt!
I actually really liked his performance in The Red Dragon, defo underrated
was looking for someone to mention this! I also thought his acting in The Red Dragon mas magnificent. The parts with him and the blind woman were amazing.
@@sodabeat689My favorite parts of the film.
Fun fact the child young Tom Riddle aka voldemort were played by Ralph's nephews. We all appreciate Christian Coulson as teen tom riddle but it's neat that young voldemkrt was played by family members.
The one person, I will love forever is Ralph Fiennes. He is a nicest person I've ever met. A very good, dear soul. God bless him.
Loved Ralph in the film ‘In Bruges’. A masterclass in acting along with Brendan Gleason
How he wasn’t at LEAST nominated for an Oscar for that role is mind boggling. One of my favorite characters/performances from any actor. The scene with Harry and Ken is absolutely cinematic gold. Watch that movie every chance I get, never gets old.
Since we're all name-checking our favourite Fiennes films, for me it's The English Patient. Absolutely LOVE that heart-breaking movie!
The innocence of pre Covid interviews.
“We start filming bond and it is out next year” then Covid happened.
Ralph is such a class act, always happy to see him
@@maniaces Hm?
@@maniaces Oh was he now
Ralph Fiennes is an amazing actor. He’s so underrated.
Amazing listening to him speak as normal and he just sounds like Voldemort
The English Patient! One of his best films!
Ralph Fiennes in his prime - The English Patient.
and the Grand Budapest Hotel
10/10.
He was so damn psycho in The Menu movies, brilliant love it a lot🤩
Exactly!
Absolutely smashed it in the movie.
And red dragon if you haven’t watched it you need to.
He was! If i ever see him in a restaurant i think ill just have a cheese burger 😂
I don't know why he thinks he wouldn't be good James bond. I think Ralph Fiennes would have been a great James bond. He's an epic actor. I think any role he undertakes ends up being fantastic.
Voldemort is unique, a grand character and well played
His most endearing film was Maid in Manhattan.
I genuinely didn’t realize it was him until I saw your comment and looked it up 😮
Such an iconic movie
Whoa... totally forgot he was the lead in that
Was wondering if I was the only one in the comments who knew he was in that movie!
Love Lizzo and adore Ralph Fiennes ❤ Gold watching her and Jack Wetherall snickering in the corner 🤣
Oh did Jack change his name?
Ralph Fiennes was terrific in The English Patient. He was actually the scariest in Schindler's List but BOY did he get what he deserved!
lizzo looks particularly beautiful here. and Ralph's comedic roles? the film In Bruges .. hilarious.. great accent
He’s been amazing in everything
Even Strange Days
New Yorkers can see him on stage. At the Shed
What a legend Ralph is he still looks amazing 👏🏾
After Ralph in The Kingsman, he could easily be Bond.
The way he says sexual-didn’t know one could say it that way…i was surprised no one in the audience went whoah!
He was wonderful in The Constant Gardener. The author, John Le Carre said that ito that performance and how he thought of the character, it was the thinness of a cigarette paper. It matched so completely. I would actually like to see him in a gritty, intelligent, detective movie. Probably not his style, but I’d like to see him do something with a part like that.
Ralph fineness looks so good for his age😊😊
My husband knows I'm outta there if Ralph Fiennes were ever to show up. I've been absolutely in love with him since Wuthering Heights/Schindler's List.
His role in Strange Days was different than just about every other role he's had. He's usually just a buttoned up British guy in most of his roles. Although, somehow, he still manages to be great in his roles.
He is suchhhh a phenomenal actor!!!! Loved him in HP, can't wait to see him in Bond lol
You need to watch ' the menu', which just came out
@@10draperful it's so good
Great comedic parts in Coen Bros. "Hail, Cesar" & McDonagh's "In Bruges."
Success in dramatic parts .. too long to mention.
Loved him in “The English Patient.” One of my top 10 films and soundtracks ever.
you’ll love the prince of egypt soundtrack Ralph sang all his parts as Pharaoh it’s absolutely amazing
Same will never ever tire of this film gets me every time....perfection the whole cast, story, setting
@@MrsBazzy pure perfection in a movie. Off to listen to the soundtrack to transport me back to it.
@@MrsBazzy same! its been my fav since I was a kid and 20+ yrs later its in a league of its own, timeless. its my comfort movie
@@JerrisEverydayPeople he sure knows a good movie script and then transcends the writing into magic with his acting
He did Voldemort justice
I recognise him most as Voldemort and Amon Goth, so he's great at playing evil!
This is obviously an old interview. Before The King's Man, and before No Time To Die.
Yes the date is in the caption (2019)
I will forever love him as Lenny in Strange Days.
Will you two please grow up 😂😂😭😭
Bruh.
Ralph Fiennes has so much of the leonard rossiter Rigsby about him here,,the way he is sitting talking,,! ohhhhhhh mr potter.....
He has such dreaming eyes…..😍😍😍😍😍 we love a bit of Ralph.
Ralph is a very attractive man. Honestly. ❤
Ralph Fiennes 😍😘😘😘❤️❤️ I love You !.
Love me some Lizzo❣️ She is such a positive light in the world.🌞
a positive victim 😂😂😂
She is morbidly obese with a server eating disorder. But rather than face it and do something she has convinced herself, and tries to convince others (like young, naïve, healthy girls) that being huge is a good thing. Being thin and healthy is a bad thing. Is that positive?
Lazyness personified
One of the greats for sure. Amazing actor
He’s an absolute legend
After Harry Potter and Schindler's List, seeing him in Grand Budapest was a shock to say the least, albeit a pleasant one
I like hearing how Ralph says “sex-cual” 😊
When?
I’d love to sign his wand.
I feel like he is so above the people that surround him on this show that I feel his pain of the people's dumbness
He’s very versatile - he should absolutely take more risks. Get him in a Ken Loach film immediately
There's something with his eyes that terrifies me to my fucking core. He's a great actor nonetheless
Well it was more dramatic .... "I can .... touch you ..... NOW!" And Dan screaming as he came in contact with him.
Damn I was a kid when I first saw that but now I'm like damn where was the script going with this? XD better yet Jo Rowling when she wrote the book cause it's accurate page to screen.
If not seen. Go watch the Menu. Great film
It's a great film. Saw it 3 days ago. Funny.
Jon's tie is fabulous!
I like Ralph in Harry Potter but i looooooooove him in Red Dragon
Just watched the menu and he was amazing as usual
He'll always be my favourite actor :)
Great actor
For me his most recognized work is the English patient
After watching him play Amon Goeth in Schindler’s List I immediately went out and bought a high powered hunting rifle and sat on my balcony waiting for people to walk by.
Ralph Fiennes is awesome
Anyone one else remember him in red dragon
Still can't get over the pronunciation of his name
i loved him as M and i hope he stays with another 007
Red dragon my favourite 😍
Ralph you are still the best looking man in show business
Lizzo is lovely.
Jason Gillespie is back
117 meadowciff cycle
The only person who can say : VOLDEMORT without getting any risk! Thanks lord phienes
YES! they're working on Kingsman
He was great in Rising Damp!
Wanted to hear him say "auughhhvaahdahhhkuhhdavvvruhhh"
“ White Crow” !😮
Lizzo! Love her🎉
I ❤ Lizzo 😊
I'd think he'd be a good fit in a film about the life of Leonard Rossiter!!!!
He was awesome in Bruges
Saturday 16th March 2019
3:45 - I love watching this from hindsight - this interview is from March 2019, and the hope was the Bond movie would be released in 2020. Oh how that went down the toilet in 2020 with the pandemic. How innocent we were in March 2019, that one year from this interview the movie industry would be sunk by the pandemic and life would never be the same again.
You know what I took from this is that there's someone named Barbara broccoli
i would not dare laughing at Ralph
3 1/2 years ago. Why ?
@@5thPhoenix There's a date in the description.
@I like cats isn't it the wrong date though? Folks in the comments are talking about this being pre-covid. Why was this released a month ago?
You guys, don't laugh but I was today years old when I realized he played Voldemort. Do not come for me.😀😀😀🤣
When 50-60 year old men break down laughing at an innuendo, that's what I love about entertainment people.
Tom Riddle in titanic explains why he became a evil wizard. He was just looking for love....and it rejected him. So he took over the world. The suicide was juat the cover story as he went back to take over the Wizarding world.
Jonathan Ross looks like Cormoran Strike . in my imagination when i read the crime stories of her.
One of the best actors of all time. Really underrated
The Menu rules supreme
Superb in English Patient!
Side note: Lizzo looks so beautiful 😍
