What an incredible actor with so many fantastic roles to his name, down to earth with a great sense of humour. Stephen Graham is one of the U.K.s finest.
Loved his role in "Snatch", so understated and the repartee he had with Jason Statham was so great. Can't remember the name of the TV play but I think it was on Channel 4 in the UK. It focused on the frustrations of the lack of knowledge in the treatment of people in a nursing home right in the middle of the Covid 19 outbreak. He co-starred with "Killing Eve" star, the equally brilliant Jodie Comer. Brilliantly done.
Saw him in This is England with Vicky McClure and they stood out as young brilliant actors then, look where they are now!! Very humble and genuine people😍
I agree but also think the same can be said for the entire cast of those brilliant series'. Some amazing acting going on, which really presented a plausible little 'gang', that really were friends, and were just helping each other navigate the complexities of growing up ❤ that said i absolutely love Stephen Graham
considering Stephen's one of the best actors of the last 30 years with literally countless powerful performances across all stages, It's amazing that he comes across so down to earth and "normal"
We have some great actors to export. As soon as i seen Graham decades ago - I knew he was going to raise to the top . His career is exceptional- I wouldn't have guessed at the time I first seen him , it would rise to this height . Everything and every role has been great . He's a serious actor- there isn't a shoving it in your face either . ( feeding frenzy attention )
I feel the same about Ireland, for how tiny that country is, the amount of world class performers they've produced is unbelievable. In terms of bang for buck I think they beat any other country in terms of acting talent
A large majority why people want to work with other people is because they are fun to be around. I'd imagine Stephen is the full package talented and very easy to be around, the perfect combo for an actor on a set.
"Stephen Joseph Graham was born on 3 August 1973 in Kirkby, Lancashire. He had a Swedish grandmother and Jamaican grandfather, and has discussed his experience being a light-skinned multiracial person as he has brothers who have much darker skin."
Love Alan, loved it when he had to fill in for Adele on one of her show's,when she met her English teacher, and had to go fix her make-up,and Alan started singing, That was the best, especially when he asked if there were any teacher's he had while at school,in the audience
The first time I saw him was in Doghouse, was very surprised to see him in others movie at first but he's a great actor ! Glad to see he seems like a good bloke offscreen.
Like so many of you here, I'm a huge fan of Stephen's❤ his versatility and talent is just unrivalled ❤ I can still remember the first time I saw him in Occupation where he yells "I'm from Kirkby!" One stand out for me is Parade's End alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and he has this hilarious scene with Anne Marie Duff and Rufus Sewell ❤ his Scottish accent in that is just lovely ❤ xx
he was awesome when he played George Young of the Easybeats in the Ozzie biopic of there life with a young Angus and Malcolm Young of ACDC hanging around him.
I’ve heard actors that are Liverpudlians (Scousers lol) Say that the one accent scouse people find really hard to put on is the Cockney London accent, Which makes Stephens performance in Snatch EVEN more impressive, The mans a chameleon kind of like Gary Oldman but not quite on Gary’s level. A phenomenal talent in his own right though
You can accidentally pick up an accent I visited Birmingham for a weekend and I returned with the brummie accent went back to my mockney accent within 24 hours 😊

Stephen goes to the same gym as me, he is such genuine and down to earth guy and always laughing and happy to talk, such a legend and great actor
If I knew the gym where he went, he’d have me running on the treadmill, and I’m a wheelchair user 😂
Thanks for sharing. Seems a great lad!
Is that in ibstock ?? Cause he lives there at present.

Mr. Graham. You are a total inspiration. I was brought up in Kirby baths. My late Daughter loved you so much. For this Sir I thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏

considering Stephen's one of the best actors of the last 30 years with literally countless powerful performances across all stages, It's amazing that he comes across so down to earth and "normal"
He lives near me in a very, very unassuming place. Bump into him now and again and the local maccies and he's as down to earth as can be.
@@invisiblekid99is that north Leicestershire way still?

Met him when i did some work at his house, him and his wife hannah are lovely people!!
Such a talent. Stephen doesn't get the flowers he deserves.
not being given the BAFTA for The Virtues was just incomprehensible to me 🤷🏾♀️
One of best actors about by far, you know when he's in something then it's worth watching ✌️

Why the surprise. He’s one of the world’s best actors ?
No sure I'd go that far, but yes extremely good. He was great in Boardwalk Empire as well as a young Al Capone.
because not everyone is good at accents

Steven is a very versatile and convincing actor.
He was a terrific Al Capone.
Wasn't tom hardy who played Capone? He's another legend

I understand. I have an ear for accents myself. It can happen automatically which is awkward as people something think you're taking the mickey.
I was told by an ENT Dr. that it is the same thing as how you can have an ear for music.
Of course you do 😂
@@CarolanneTitmus-Greene Yes I have that too.:)
Same here,5 mins after meeting someone I'm talking like them, I can't help it, some people don't mind
Brilliant actor.
He's such an amazing actor. I'm amazed that no one mentioned Pirates of the Caribbean here.
Absolutaly love him 😂
Talented actor. This clip is five years old. He’s done a lot more since then.
