- Jodie Comer presents Stephen Graham with The Richard Harris Award.
Stephen Graham has achieved almost legendary status as a hugely talented and versatile performer, having taken on roles from Combo, a bitter, emotionally damaged neo-Nazi in Shane Meadows’ BIFA-winning This Is England (2007), to Shang in Scorsese’s mighty Gangs of New York (2002).
Graham is also known for supporting new talent, famously recommending a young Jodie Comer to his agent and has spoken of the difficulties working-class actors face in breaking through.
The Richard Harris Award recognises an outstanding contribution by an actor to British film. It has previously been bestowed upon the likes of Samantha Morton, Riz Ahmed, Helena Bonham Carter, Julie Walters, and Emma Thompson.

What a lovely speech she delivered. He is an absolute tour de force, wonderful, wonderful actor and man x
That mention about saying hello and thank you to the crew because they’re there long before and after you, was definitely from this piece of paper that Henry Rollins left at a couple for venues. it’s totally true and though and I love hearing it from Stephen Grahams himself, he’s fully rooted himself in as a man of the people.
Love this British actor…watch anything he is in…from Australia x
Love Jodie and Steven they give us so much, thank god for the talent they share with us.
I am glad that he is getting the recognition that he deserves.
The best British actor on our screens right now
A legend and national treasure!
Two great Liverpool actors who both have the ability to speak in many world accents. Even Jodie isn't using her scouse accent in this, whereas Stephen does.
Jodies accent is definitely scouse here, not everybody in Liverpool has a hard an accent as Stephan
What a absolute legend
Such a great actor.
Fantastic guy
Un actor estupendo
Work with ya down the road, hero.
Bit self-indulgent on Jodie's part. Though I'm sure she didn't write down all of that.
