I'm so excited about this recipe! I have tried several times in the oven and even the dehydrator, but I've never been able to get the crunchy texture I'm looking for. I can't wait to try this!! Thanks Heather (and Annette).❤
That’s a great question, you do loose some, but not so much as to worry they won’t come out. The basket does a great job of keeping it in there. I’ll show my tray next time. It’s really not as much as you’d think.
These sound amazing! I love corn nuts and this would be a much healthier and less expensive snack. I don’t have spicy ranch powder but have tons of original ranch. I bet it I add some cayenne and paprika, it will be close. Can’t wait to try 😍. Thanks Annette for the suggestion and Heather for sharing with us
I did the quick soak method. Boil for 5 minutes then take the pot off of the heat and let the beans sit in the water for 1-2 hours. If I'd wanted them softer, like the canned ones, I'd continued to cook like normal and then air fried. But I think the crunch factor was just perfect!
Hee hee hee!! I feel famous! Thanks for trying my idea. ❤️
You're super famous!
Can't wait to try this! Thank you

How much seasoning is lost in the tumbling thingamajig vs. a stationary basket or baking sheet?

Someone else asked about corn nuts above... I googled a couple recipes with corn nuts in the air fryer... and it's a thing too! Woot woot!
How do I store them?
Once cool, airtight container or bag! :)
How long did you soak the dried ones?
