    Growing up, an amp this size was just unheard of. Never mind the output it’s capable of. I’m not a Brazilian amp fan at all but this is still no less than impressive.

      In the late ‘90s Jensen had an amp this size, but it was only rated at about 20 watts X 4, and it wasn’t very likely to put out that much power!

    I am looking at this amp for my Dodge Charger Harmon Kardon upgrade. I have a factory 8" sub in the rear deck, and am adding the 2-10" Harmon Kardon subs from a Challenger. The subs dont need much power, so I think this will fit the build perfectly.

    Always fascinated by tiny amps with decent power, tho not a fan of any extra noise. For something that size and power, I'd be using as an SQ component, so that 1KHz whine is not good. Still, it's pretty cool what they can do for under $100 and in a 4" square..:) Have a great one! Stu

    My main car has all kinds of mids, amps, sub, and big ass power wires all through out, but for my other car...I prefer a more stealthy type of system. May just pick one of these up to install it behind the dashboard, or in the glove box. This way I wont have to run a full 8 gauge or 4 gauge power wire to the back, and for the channel connections I can just tap into the factory speaker wires, wont even have to run new speaker wires.

    I don't understand how you can judge an amp as good or bad sounding?
    Doesn't the speakers determine the quality of the overall sound?
    I believe the key to good sound is decent speakers driven by an amp with enough juice to
    drive them properly and efficiently.

    • @RealPivotTV
      @RealPivotTV Год назад

      In my opinion you don’t need a key amp. Those are used mostly for retuning factory head units to put out frequencies that they take out at the factory. Most mono amps when the power is the same but they sound different is usually because the sound processing is different. A DSP can really improve the performance of your equipment. Good ones can be pricey though. I run a JL Audio TWK DSP and I absolutely love it. You can plug a laptop into it and make a crazy amount of adjustments as well as time corrections plus you can save different profiles. Audio control makes a really good one as well. In the more budget area is something like the Dayton audio DSP-408. It’s way cheaper that the other 2 I mentioned but still has some of the features.
