    Can the first example be used to wire (4) 4ohm 6.5 speakers? Not this specific amp but a similar Brazilian style. Therefore get a 4 channel output, Front L/R and Rear L/R...

    Ok I have the timpano 500.4 2 ohm. I want to run two 4 ohm speakers for rear and two 2 ohm speakers for the front channel . Can I do that , do I bridge the 4 ohm and hook up the front 2 ohm normal???

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  8 месяцев назад

      Please watch the video again, until the very end. I clearly explain that you can't and why you can't bridge 4 ohm speakers.

    • @edjohn4207

      Ok I watched it again. So I can hook up 4 ohm speakers normal to the amp ? Not bridged. The front channels are 2 5.25 speakers and the rear channels are 2 6x9. I did have the 6x9s hooked up bridged to the rear channels and they worked but it's going to be bad for the amp u said. I appreciate the help. Thanks in advance. I just want to clarify what will be alright to run them.

    How do I use my processor to play bass?

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  10 месяцев назад

      By putting bass frequencies in the crossover.

    Can I bridge 2 8ohm tweeters on one side, and then use the other 2 channels to run 4 4ohm speakers?

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, you can. But this way, you are getting much more power to the tweeters than the speakers.

      How many watts is each speaker? Maybe it's not enough power.

    Do I need a crossover for super tweeters?? I have this same amp and (4) 4 ohm supertweeter

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  10 месяцев назад

      For just tweeters, no, you can use the crossover switch to take out the low frequency.

    Wich speakers recommend to this amp at 4ohms?

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  8 месяцев назад +1

      Anything that's around 200/300w. It's a little weak for 500w speakers but it will work.

    Hey. Thanks for the video. Quick question. I just bought this amp and have a set of JBL 6.5 components. My question is...the JBL are 3ohm. What would be the best way to wire this through the crossover that came with the speakers? They are 75 watt RMS and i am assuming the 3ohms is per speaker...thanks for any help you may provide. Mike

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  6 месяцев назад

      You probably should use the crossover that comes with it. The final ohm load with everything is what's important

    I want to buy this exact amp. I'm upgrading my corolla speakers since I install an android unit. So I will upgrade 2 - 6.5" component speakers with tweeters that have a cross over to the 6.5". Then 2 - 6x9 in the rear 2, 3 or 4 way don't know yet. Is it possible with this little amp I just need a little umph since the factory speakers sound crappy now. I'm hoping for a little bass nothing killler. do you have a video on how to do this install with this set up and what do you recommend to set it up this way. Love this video I learned a lot. love the way you simplify things. I installed a Xtrons android head unit 9". Where would be prime location to put the amp. Rear in trunk, under seat or up front? looking forward to your answer. Thank you for any help given.

      I have this amp installed in my 2014 Corolla LE to an android head unit. I upgraded the speakers 6.5 mids and tweeters on front and 2 6x9 on rear. I also added a 4 band parametric EQ and a PRV 2.4 DSP. Honestly it sounds great but if you want sound quality and clarity not just loudness, you definitely need the DSP. That thing works magic.

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  6 месяцев назад

      You can put 4 speakers on this , 1 per channel. For car audio speakers it should be plenty of power. Just run 1 wire to each door for the speaker. 16ga is fine. Put the amp wherever you can fit it.

      I didn't quite understand the message but you can wire 4x TPT-DH2000 to a 4 channel by wiring them in pairs, in parallel, then bridging each pair to each side of the amplifier.

    The center connector is a dummy slot

    If I have 2x 4 ohm 6x9's. And I wanted to wire them in the bridged 4 ohm mode on one side, would it work?
