Almost Rode Off A Cliff

  • Had another great day in the BC backcountry on my 2022 Ski-Doo Freeride 154 Turbo
Dropped a cornice off on to a slope below which is somewhat dangerous to do. We were the only people on the mountain so we knew there was nobody below this cliff and we had a clear line of sight and could see nobody was below us.

Yet another vicarious masterpiece. Thank you for the ride along. It will be interesting to see if the new belt meets with a similar fate. Could be bad belt, excessive stretch leading to out of adjustment or the dreaded doo disease (let us hope for option 1 or 2).

I see Skidoo still eats belts! Main reason I stopped buying them, gets expensive buying new belts that should last for at least 3000 kms or more. Buddy has a 2016 cat has 3800 kms same belt from new and rode hard in the mountains and 80 bucks verse 180-240 from skidoo maybe more now. Never buy one again. Long live the ZX lol
