      Absolutely amazing sled thats for sure i do alot with it and post a few times i got stuck but on the trapline we need flat trails as holes and bumps just lead to bad news lol but all around a great skidoo and it does work hard lol thanks for watching and for the great comment i have more videos on my channel feel free to view them and got more on the way . Thank you

    That sled had no trouble hauling that load!! Just a tip: install a small boat winch on the Alaskan mill with a rope and a sharp hook. You can use the winch to pull the mill through rather than push. If the saw bogs, just unwind half a turn.

    Идеальные условия, груз легкий, снегоходы мощные...это не испытание для них.
    Помню скандик в -56° на волокушах тащил 100км за полярным кругом в полной темноте. Бенз 600 литров.

      Danny and I briefly had that line, Chipper Rd., Whitefish through Outline Bay. He traded up with Guiline Domich for a line at Jimmy Cash I believe.
      Memories wow! Great videos Steve!

    I find that most snow machines have toe hitches up so high on the stern, that it happens all to often when the load goes crooked, going up hill that it pulls the machine over on its side.. Looks like a great project you got going on there !

      The lock position on the rear suspension helps alot with that issue but thanks for the comment and more to come

      the skis at the back end of the load didn't have a runner under to keep its track and when he was climbing the hill it slid to the side and tipping him as his skis where already lifting so it acted like he was wanting to carve sideways but this wasn't the case lol but lucky he never got injured as that could have rolled on top of him lol thanks for watching and hope to make it up there again to show updates .

    Does the two part freight sled have skegs? Fun video, I’ll have to scan your channel to see the cabin. Thanks for posting.

      He put small cables just to hold them at 16 ft but its a great design and did really well . Thanks for watching i will be posting updates once we can get in there with the boat lol

      @@steveakamooseman7786 I like the design and the cables where a great idea. It just seemed like the back freighter was wandering and I wondered if it had skegs and was still not tracking because of weight. Very cool sled idea.

      @@RaisedinAlaska ya his father had put together but forgot to put a slider so yes you are right it did sway all over and that was one of the causes he flipped to the side climbing the hill lol .

    • @steveakamooseman7786
      @steveakamooseman7786  Год назад +1

      Yes radiator i front with a fan that helps alot when in tight trails to cool engine and i also installed scratchers to help sliders and cooling aswell . Thanks for watching .

    I like the video, except for the music, it's terrible. I'd rather have the natural sounds
